Cari Hotel 3-Star di Catania

Very convenient location: a quiet street, 15 min walk from the central station. A large local street market (not the fishy one, so no smells) opens every early morning just a few quarters away. My flat was spacious and very clean. No problems with facilities, the kitchen is very appropriately equipped. For longer stays, you will probably miss a washing machine. Also, there are no real wardrobes, so I had to put all on open shelves. This can be inconvenient for longer stays too. The communication with the hosts goes via WhatsApp: fast , friendly and adequate.

Papali was on the first floor of a very old building, so expect to walk up a few steps with your luggage, because there's no elevator ... But, the Signore who welcomed us was very friendly and even went downstairs - while I already could go into our room - to help my husband find a parking spot on the street nearby. We had a very good night in a simple, but super clean and quite big room, comfy bed as well ... Bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels ... The first picture I took in the morning after our night at Papali out from the balcony, the second was taken in the morning when we had our breakfast served kindly in the little dining area ... Btw, Papali is located wonderfully - it's an easy walk to all the main sightseeing spots of Catania! I added some pictures of our evening walk ... Summary: Papali is a great choice locationwise and if you do not want to spend too much, but still want to have a cozy night at a simple but friendly and nice place.

Perfect location as we could walk to many attractions nearby! The lady and her mother who owns the B&B speak fluent English and was able to assist us with transport areangement, dietary preferences for breakfast and great suggestions on how to spend the day at Catania! The breakfast overlooks a lovely garden and rooms were big, comfortable and super spacious. A memorable stay indeed!

Ich habe kürzlich in diesem neu eröffneten Hotel übernachtet und war rundum begeistert. Das Interior Design ist modern und geschmackvoll – man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Details gelegt wurde. Das Zimmer war hervorragend ausgestattet: eine Nespresso-Maschine, ein kleiner Kühlschrank, ein Safe, eine angenehm leise Klimaanlage und eine tolle Regendusche. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die ruhige Lage – ideal für erholsamen Schlaf. Das Hotel ist klein und charmant, alle Zimmer befinden sich auf einer Etage. Der Eingang liegt im Erdgeschoss, die Rezeption ist nicht rund um die Uhr besetzt, aber dank der Zimmerkarte hat man jederzeit Zugang. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich – ein besonderes Dankeschön an Martina, die mit ihren Tipps meinen Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht hat. Frühstück wird im Hotel zwar nicht angeboten, aber es gibt viele gute Möglichkeiten in direkter Umgebung. Fazit: Ein stilvolles, ruhiges Hotel mit Wohlfühlatmosphäre – ich komme gerne wieder!

Worst breakfast choices ever but great and clean room. Clean lounge to chill and relax in complete with a few charging power bars. The paintings on the walls have real human nudity so perhaps it isn’t the best choice for kids. You can ask the hotel to take down the nudes before you arrive if needed. The building’s exterior is rustic and shows its age, but the room inside was clean, bright, and pleasantly modern. High ceilings, ample natural light, and comfortable furnishings made the stay enjoyable. The room was well-equipped with air conditioning, a mini-fridge, and a small workspace. Overall, a comfortable and updated interior within a historic building. Guests who value interior comfort and don’t mind an older façade.

Great place to stay in Catania. This was perfect for my trip- I was in the final days of a nearly 3 week holiday, and just wanted somewhere comfortable and relatively close to sites to relax. I was there during Christmas and the days after, so having an apartment was perfect. I was able to cook, relax, and everything I wanted to see was a short walk away. I would 100% recommend again.

The owners is very polite and helpful. The room is very large and clean as well. Yet, the hostel is at the second floor of a building. You will have to call the owner to help you open the front door for your check in. Everything is great and we highly recommend this accommodation.

Alles tip top. Die Zimmer sind neu und alles ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett. Das einzige Problem was für einen Besucher als störend empfunden werden könnte ist, dass es sehr hellhörig ist, das heißt, man hört wirklich sehr gut wenn der Nachbar z.B Fernsehen guckt, oder sich unterhält. Das kann unter Umständen störend sein. Aber abgesehen davon ist eigentlich alles total gut. Vor dem Hotel findet täglich ein Markt von 6-13 Uhr statt - das sollte man wissen. D.h. zwischen 6 Uhr und 13 Uhr kann dann dort kein Auto fahren oder Auto parken und alles ist gesperrt. Glücklicherweise befindet sich direkt neben dem Hotel ein großes Parkhaus in dem man wunderbar sein Auto 24/7 parken kann. Es ist dort sicher abgestellt und das Parkhaus kostet pro Nacht 12 Euro (Stand Juli 2025). Fazit: Wer ein solides, minimalistisches und einfaches Hotelzimmer sucht, in guter Lage und zu einem fairen Preis, der ist hier genau richtig.👍

Coś wspaniałego. Bungalowy tuż przy plaży. Cudny wschód słońca. Piękny widok na Etnę. Czysto schludnie. Przemiły pracownik - mega człowiek. Śniadanie skromne ale kawka pyszna. 12 minut do lotniska. Czynne 24h. Ja jestem bardzo zadowolony. To miejsce zyskuje pewnie latem, w sezonie. Fajna infrastruktura. Domki w terenie zadrzewionym piaszczysta plaża parking całodobowa obsługa. Tylko jechać tam.
