This is not the five star hotel it purports to be and was a great disappointment to us on our recent stay. The staff on reception were polite and professional, and when asked a direct question were helpful enough, but at check-in omitted to tell us some basic information (where the breakfast room is - impossible to find independently - and the fact that there is a lido down the road where hotel guests can use the sun beds free of charge and which has a good restaurant). Our room had a number of basic faults which should have been picked up by housekeeping. The light over the bath didn't work, the battery was hanging out of the safe's door, there was a big crack in the window and the kettle spout was chipped. As other reviewers have noted, WiFi and air conditioning are sporadic. The pool area felt tired and tatty, and loud music played there all day. It's not a place you want to spend time. Breakfast was acceptable, but the staff were not welcoming or helpful. When food ran out it was generally not restocked. There was a very strong smell of bleach throughout the hotel corridors and in our room; I suspect it was masking a more unpleasant odour. Essentially, I would avoid staying here.

Il personale di Palazzo San Giorgio è molto disponibile e competente, mi ha fornito tutte le informazioni che ho richiesto durante il mio soggiorno (indicazioni stradali, ristoranti, musei ecc). Ho alloggiato una notte in una bellissima ed elegante junior suite, luminosa ed estremamente pulita. Ho trovato l’arredamento dell’intera struttura molto moderno e curato nei minimi dettagli. Quello che mi è piaciuto di più è stata la colazione….buffet vastissimo e tanta scelta anche alla carta. Sebbene sia molto bella la spa non è grandissima e questo la rende un ambiente accogliente. Super raccomandato!!

Don’t get scared by the entrance : hardly visible this may surprise you. However the street address is the correct one and the best is to come once you passed the door, as for ex. the nice patio. The hotel offers modern design in a typical “boutique” type environment, all this packed in an old building which kept some of its architectural features. The design of the rooms has minimalistic decoration and layout which can be expected, except for the missing cupboard space for our clothes (had to leave them in the suitcase). We liked the spacious rooms, comfortable beds and large bathroom (wished there would be 2-3 hooks to hang our wet towels… and it takes for ever to get hot water), reversible AC (i.e. if you are cold, just set the temperature adequately), large oversized flat screen TV, excellent WIFI. Breakfast buffet was overall outstanding with fresh products, warm scrambled eggs & bacon, cheese … we just wish we had better choice of bread (the only “non sweet” choice was a brown square bread that you had to toast to enjoy). All the personnel, (reception, breakfast/restaurant and cleaning) were friendly and, when needed, helpful. For a 3 stars hotel, Habitat deserves an ”Excellent” rating.

Suite 35 è un B&B in posizione centralissima, a piedi si raggiungano tutti i principali monumenti. L'alloggio è in un palazzo storico e perfettamente ristrutturato all'interno. E' spazioso , pulito e dotato di tutti i comfort, che raramente si trovano in altri posti (Spazzolino e dentifricio+ ciabatte). Silenzioso nonostante si trovi in una zona frequentata la sera.Letto molto comodo che ci ha consentito di dormire profondamente fino a mattino. Ornella è stata davvero gentile e professionale, ci ha consigliato come muoverci e i migliori ristoranti.Sempre disponibile e gentile , ci ha lasciato il suo cell per qualsiasi evenienza. Colazione super abbondante, non mancava nulla, incluso la crema al pistacchio, la mia preferita:)Suite 35 super lo consiglierei a tutti!

Soggiornato con la famiglia per 3 gg. Devo dire tutto TOP. Emanuele e Giorgio fantastici!!! Camere belle, puliti e accoglienti, bagno bene. Colazione non eccessiva ma prodotti tutti ottimi.. consiglio le brioches... buone buone buone, quella al pistacchio da fuori di testa!!!! Si trova a 300 metri dalla piazza principale basta percorrere via Vittorio Emanuele... il B&B si trova fronte fontana in un portone marrone. Devo dire che per visitare catania o come punto d'appoggio per visitare una parte di Sicilia questo B&B è quello giusto!!!!

Cute b&b with a welcoming staff. It's about a 10 min walk from the airport bus drop off point. A friend and I just stayed one night b/c we had to leave the next day but i would've gladly stay longer. The AC worked well which was important. The owner gave us great tips for restaurants nearby. The hotel B&B isnt continually staffed so you'll need to tell them when you will arrive and they're be there to let you in and give you the keys. I'd stay again if I were to return to Catania.

Siamo stati ospiti di questa struttura per due notti al nostro arrivo a Catania. Le stanze si trovano all’interno di un palazzo antico nel centro di Catania. La nostra stanza era molto grande, molto ben arredata e confortevole. La posizione è ottima, in pochi minuti a piedi si raggiungono palazzo biscari e il duomo di Catania. Parcheggio comodo, sotto la struttura e se proprio non si trova, c’è un parcheggio custodito al di là della strada principale. Fantastica la colazione preparata è servita da Filippo il proprietario, persona gentilissima e disponibilissima. Ci siamo trovati davvero bene!
