PPengguna TetamuThis hotel in Sendai is extremely friendly to international travelers. One of the staff members can speak Chinese, which was incredibly helpful for us. She assisted us with many things during our stay and helped arrange luggage storage before check-in, making everything very smooth and convenient.
The room is also slightly larger compared to many hotels in Japan, which made the stay more comfortable. The location is excellent as well — it is very close to Sendai Station, and there are supermarkets and many shops nearby, making it very convenient.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and there is really nothing to complain about. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers visiting Sendai.

PPengguna TetamuSendai has become my second favorite city in Japan. It offers the perfect blend of chill and urban vibes — not as crowded as Tokyo, Osaka, or Sapporo, yet equally lively and enjoyable.
This capsule hotel is located right along the main business street, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. There’s even an Ichiran Ramen just next door, and a famous Taiyaki shop only a 2–3 minute walk away. Sendai Station is about a 10-minute walk from the property.
However, one downside is the confusing luggage policy. The hotel rules state that large luggage cannot be brought into the sleeping area, so I rented a chain lock (JPY 100) to secure my suitcase in the hallway. Despite this, many guests still brought their bags inside, so the rule seemed inconsistently enforced. For guests like me who followed the policy, it was a bit inconvenient since my capsule was quite far from the hallway and it was troublesome to retrieve my belongings each time.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel service was good. The lobby was grand and beautiful. On the contrary, the rooms were a bit old. The onsen was great. I tried both the new and old onsen. I personally liked the old one and is has a more Japanese taste. The new one is too modern. The onsen water really made my skin softer. The buffet meals were great. Overall good value for money.

NNisara TanpipatThe location is in the shopping area. Donki is near. Quite close to Sendai Station. The room is cozy and big enough to unpack 28” luggage. The reception counter is on the second floor with going up the stairs, but the staff will lead you to an elevator on the first floor to move your luggage.

Staff speaks just a little bit of English, but it's possible to find workarounds with translator or if you know just a little bit of Japanese.
Considering the prices of the region, it was the best cost benefit that we could find.
The Japanese bath is quite good, you would need to spend much more for a better hotel.

PPengguna TetamuLocation a little away from the centre, no that easy to get to but in a quiet residential area. Very friendly staff with good service. Also allowed to leave baggage after check in. The lady who helped with that also had perfect English. Unfortunately I ended up at a time where the prices were extortionate due to some event happening but this was the most affordably priced option without sacrificing too much, also one of the very few with rooms available at that time too. Happy with this and would recommend if you don't mind a bit of distance to the centre.

SSpike~378The hotel was very dated and was also very small. The paint on the walls of our room looked like they were coming off at any time. However the bed was clean and the room was also decently cleaned.
All the basic amenities were provided during my stay and the staff were also courteous and friendly! The hotel is also located about a 10mins walk away from JR Sendai station so it is definitely convenient.
Overall, for the price you are paying it’s definitely worth it if you are just looking for a place to sleep for the night and go out in the day.

PPengguna TetamuAfter reading some reviews, I was wary about the stay, but it exceeded my expectations for its price point. It was clean enough, near tons of dining options but yet quiet enough, and the wifi worked very well for me and I was able to do my work (2h video call).
