Cari Hotel 4-Star di Zhoushan

The building is on top of a small hill so the views are fantastic, however on sunny days the room becomes quite hot if you leave the curtains open for too long. Friendly staff, the room is very spacious and clean, the breakfast is great too.

Everything was excellent! The hotel is very stylish, well maintained, clean. All is managed with love and care, every detail. Their sunsets are famous, but in 10 minutes of walk you'll also find a place to watch sunrise. The food is very tasty, too. However, what I would like to note paticularly, is the way they treat guests. All my questions were answered immediately, and they helped me a lot with booking the ferry tickets! The boss and all others are super helpful, nice and friendly! I stayed there only one night, but they treated me as if I were their favourite guest! Pick-up and transfer in the most convenient way, continuous contact via WeChat, preparing the dinner special for me and serving it outside - everything was done to make me feeling relaxed and happy. We got upgraded to a room with balcony. The rooms are spacious and the view was fantastic. We are vegetarians and the receptionist arranged special vegetarian dishes for us which were delicious. Also they arranged at a time suitable to us. There is a beach about 10min walking distance from the hotel but one can’t swim in the beach but a good view. Also Shang Hai Qi Guan is a 30 min walk with a fantastic view of the island from the top. Overall a great stay. We just stayed for one night.

We love everything about Healray Collection. Our flight arrived late, and took a late ferry over to the Island. Luckily they had shuttle service from and to Ferry, which made it so much easier than calling a car service. When we arrived, they assisted us unloading the luggage. Our room got excellent view and could see the Guan Yin statue from our room. I'm OCD, so cleanliness is very important to me and I approved. We booked two nights, sadly we were only able to stay one night due to a Gale warning. The hotel had such a great customer service, when we were sightseeing, they gave us a call to inform us that they received a Gale warning and that the ferry will not operate the next day. They gave us an option to stay or refund us the one night if we wished to checkout to catch the ferry. They were very helpful and resourceful in that respect. The manager Zhou Min reached out to our online booking to verify our refund. We were very pleased and amazed with their extraordinary service. I personally would definitely refer and book with them again. I care about service and they have one of the best service I've had experienced.

Service by the guy who picked us up from the airport is excellent. 10/10!!! Our luggage was damaged during the flight, he called someone to help us repair it. We were short on time for the ferry sailing to Mt Putuo due the weather conditions, that day sailings will be cancelled, (we got to chat in the van when he picked us up from the airport), he said we can just leave the luggages at the front desk and then hurriedly sent us to the port, good thing we made it. That's superb customer service!!! He didn't even want to get a tip, eventually we gave him some dried mango packs from the Philippines. The front desk guy though is a different story, he was super slow, did not know how to handle checking in of foreign passport holders I think. He has our passports and had to ask us our birthdays!! It was also difficult for him to understand the visa dates (expiry and issue dates), and he kept on asking when we arrived, it is just there stamped opposite the visa page, we just actually arrived that day, this is our first hotel. Anyway, free pick up from the airport is best and free sending to the port and then lastly also to the bus station. Great service.

It appears efficiency is a key at this hotel. Requests were actioned very promptly. Cleaning staff did a nice job. Room was a good size and mostly in good condition. Plenty of stains on the carpet in the room though, and the room entry door frame was partly torn away from the wall. Service was very good, though it was four days before any staff so much as smiled. Efficiency but not much in the way of warmth towards guests. While some rooms are non-smoking, most of the hotel seems fair game for smoking including halls, washrooms, elevators, etc. Cigarette butts to be found and smell throughout. Apparently the hotel must be very pet friendly given the dog that was brought into the restaurant at breakfast. Acceptable all around, but not sure I would opt for this hotel again.

We are a big group. Good shuttle service going to hotel. However going back, they didn't inform us that their big van had issues. So when we were there for going back to the ferry, we had to go in batches. Other than that, the trip was peaceful. Outside resto is very famous but food was not spectacular but it was okay. Room smells moldy or cigarette, we got the rooms with windows. Strong shower, nice smelling shampoo, conditioner and lotion.

Lovely location, we stayed in a room with a Seaview. The view from the balcony was truly beautiful, we ate at the Westin (they offer a breakfast and dinner buffet), they also have a vegetarian restaurant behind the main restaurant area. Definitely recommend this option for meals, the quality is great and the buffet is from 530pm - 9pm. Access buffet tickets through scanning the code, don’t let people trick you into buying tickets at higher prices, ask for the QR code/ mini program to buy meal vouchers. We were tricked into buying meal vouchers through the hotel as we arrived for a slightly higher price. Then soon learnt that you can buy them for cheaper on their mini program! Beach access - locals need to show ID and pay 10rmb. Although we had mostly cloudy days, the environment is very comfortable and the food from the Westin was delicious.
