PPengguna TetamuThe hotel is hidden away in the mountains outside Kandy, a great spot to relax and unwind. It is about 45 minutes out of central Kandy and 20 minutes to the botanical gardens but the hotel will helpfully arrange transport if you decide to head into town. The view from the hotel is one of the best I have ever seen and sitting, relaxing in the beautiful grounds was one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka. The hotel food is also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious curries available. All of the staff are extremely friendly, warm and welcoming, they went out of their way to make sure we had a good time They also have a very affectionate dog, which was a huge win!

EEnglish RoseMisty Hills Villa Kadugannawa boasts the most incredible view over local mountains, best enjoyed if you are taking a cooling dip in the (small, but perfectly positioned) infinity pool! My husband and I were very well looked after during our short stay. The hotel staff served lovely breakfasts, organised two dinners for us and booked a tuk tuk for a day trip to Kandy. They also surprised me with a beautiful little cake on my birthday and even sang to me! The only small points I would make is that the dinners are not actually cooked on site - and that the staff did not offer to clean or make up our bedroom during our 3 night stay. Nevertheless, much kindness and warmth was demonstrated towards us and we loved the rural position of the property.

WWW M-AThe location is excellent, just at the corner of the lake and only 10 minutes by foot to the relic temple. The room is spacious, and the bed and pillow are very comfortable. It's great value for money.

GGerman SanchezThe place is quite nice, peaceful and the room (we got the honeymoon apartment) is absolutely huge. The only thing we can say about this place is that is not so near Kandy (takes 45 minutes from the city center/ Tooth temple). It is not easy to reach. If location is the goal, this is not the place to be. If peace, quiet, and good service is the goal, definitely visit.

One of the highlights is the service — the staff are genuinely friendly, attentive, and eager to make your stay memorable. The breakfast is hearty and flavorful, often featuring fresh local produce, and dining on the terrace with a view is a treat in itself

PPengguna TetamuОставались на одну ночь, приехали в 8 примерно, до 9 работают стойка регистрации, помогли отнести все сумки, с виду кажется отель новым, ещё где-то красят, где-то что-то доделывают , бассейн был совершенно пустой, мы купались одни и было ощущение, что это вся наша вилла, заказали рис с овощами, был вкусный и огромная порция, проживанием остались довольны, был кондиционер, вентилятор, чай, кофе, целый кулер воды, шампунь

PPengguna TetamuNot sure why the rating is so high. The photos shown are misleading. In real, the hotel looked nothing like the photos. In real, everything looked ancient and tired. The room i stayed was spacious but that’s the only thing about it. I didnt feel comfortable in the room . Even bath rope was frayed.
There’s a swimming pool and sauna room in the hotel, the room itself is ok. All the outside areas including the pool looked dirty and extremely basic. I doubt anyone would want to go in for a dip.
It’s also kinda stocking that the height of the bathroom countertop was to my mid-thighs. I’m 160cm.
Having said that, staff were nice and polite.
Will I pay 90USD for this, without breakfast? Never again.

JJetsettEnjoyed my stay here if you are looking at a central location this is it. It's right in the center so convenient. Walking distance to everything. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Delicious food from the restaurant and fresh coffee in the morning.
