Love this place so much. It’s always so peaceful and quiet. I love it

We tried 8 different rooms. All of them had different horrible smells. We finally found one that was tolerable. But then, our neighbor started smoking and we could smell it strongly. The floors were also sticky, leaving us unwilling to walk without shoes. We will never stay here again, and this hotel has seriously tarnished the Days Inn brand for us.

This hotel is fine for the price, and if you camp, it probably won't bother you too much. But my room had multiple bugs in it- probably because it is so close to the river, and they were all near the pipes- so they are probably crawling up the pipe. Things were fairly clean in my room, except my comforter either had stains, or was worn away and it made it have lighter spots. The heating system works, but the heaters were flaking their paint onto the floor. The hotel is near a very busy road, so I was up a lot of the night because I find noise of the constant cars keeps me up, while someone else might like that as white noise. When I booked, the hotel said it offered continental breakfast. They actually stopped that (maybe due to covid- but my stay was in March 2022??) and there was no continental breakfast. They did serve coffee- but there were grinds in it all 4 days I stayed. They also had the cheap kind of granola bars 3 out of 4 days. The river is pretty cool. And there are gas stations and a few fast food/diner restaurants walking distance. This was really close to the Farm Show Complex- like 5 min, and had plenty of parking, even if you had a dully. Gym was also closed- even though it was advertised. (Maybe again due to covid- but my stay was march 2022). They had coin laundry, and snack and drink machines. The refrig and microwave are nice for those traveling on a budget. The internet speed is decent. And While I really didn't watch tv, it seemed to have a lot of channels. The people at the counter were very nice.

The room was clean. There was loud noise after 10pm-12am though, which wasn't so great for sleeping. When I booked our room it said it included 2 breakfast...the "breakfast" is.....granola bar, a cup of coffee, and a cup of orange juice. Was very disappointed with that.
