We paid to upgrade to the lake view room, and it’s totally worth it. Definitely book the lake view room if you haven’t already, this is one of the most beautiful hotels we stayed at, the amenities, surrounding areas and the service are top notch. Spending Chinese New Year day here was an unforgettable!

I’m very satisfied with this hotel very close from the shopping mall. In the morning, taking the breakfast just before the lake was just unforgettable. No need to say that the swimming pool and the fitness room are just incredible. In short, I highly recommend this place either for a business trip or for spend a happy time with your family.

The hotel is in an outstanding location around the lake. Also close by are some shopping malls. The metro is a foot walk away that you can go everywhere. The bar inside offers good cocktail for a reasonable price. The highlight is definitely the breakfast. Large buffet and everything is offered from western style and China style. Will go there again.

Stayed in Crowne Plaza Suzhou. Location is perfect for having nice Jinjie lake view and landmark views of Suzhou Center plaza. Room was perfect for a family with 2 young kids. Had a great stay.

The room is clean , toilet with modern jet shower,the view is so pretty, located beside Jinji lake,and walking distance to mall and iconic buidling of Suzhou

The location is excellent, overlooking the lake. Everything is clean and tidy, as you would expect for the price paid. A few suggestions for improvement: Breakfast: The hotel closes its breakfast bar at 10:15 a.m., which is too early. For people on holiday, it can be challenging to wake up before 9 a.m. Personally, during my two-day stay, I missed breakfast on the first day and had to rush through it on the second. Based on my experience with other five-star hotels, most do not enforce such an early cutoff. Some even allow guests to enjoy breakfast as long as they arrive at the restaurant by 11 a.m., letting them take their time and enjoy a leisurely breakfast or brunch until 1 p.m. Facilities: I am sure the hotel offers plenty, from gym facilities and a spa to a pool. However, when I checked in, the staff did not explain how to access these amenities. Since I was busy exploring the city of Suzhou, I didn’t have the opportunity to make full use of the hotel’s facilities. Still, for a five-star hotel, I expected the staff to provide a warm introduction to the property and its offerings upon check-in.

The front desk experience at the Corwn plaza was excellent. They were very thorough at check in and when Carrie could not answer our questions in English, another person was there almost immediately to attend to our needs. Everyone was very friendly. The women's locker room at the indoor pool was very disappointing. The sauna was not hot and no amount of water on the stove would heat up the room. The locker room also had a VERY unpleasant smell. There is no hot tub and no steam room which was also disappointing. Nevertheless, the bathtub in the room served up a most wonderful bath.

Excellent service from all the staffs starting from check in. The chinese dinner 4-ppl set meal has a great deal with the no. of dishes, the surprisingly good taste and the attentiveness from the staff. The breakfast is also exceptional good as they are freshly cooked. The noodle bar is a frequently visited place with a long queue. The famous local crab topping is unlimited.

Hotel seems to be old, room facility and furniture can tell, but room with lakeview is definitely stunning, especially the night view. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet spread are pretty fair and nice view overlooking at the lakeview.
