We had a wonderful one week stay at NH Gijon. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Henar on Reception and Ermis in the Breakfast bar. The hotel has great facilities with the roof top pool, a bar and restaurant and THE most delicious breakfast selection. The room was very comfortable and clean and the bathroom was generously stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. It's ideally located for the beach, a beautiful park and the town. I would recommend it to everyone.

Note: It displeases me to give a bad review but I question the legitimacy of anyone leaving a rating higher than 2 stars. If you think you would enjoy the pleasure of paying for the following then Hotel ABBA is the place for you!!! Revolving entry door that is broken and a safety hazard...see photos (main entry btw) Poor service at restaurant - may take your menu but not your order Worn, dingy, and dirty carpet in halls & rooms Small rooms Mildew/mold in bathroom A/C thermostat with knob that will not indicate or adjust temp Thumping club music/concert at midnight on Sunday that can be heard as you lay in bed trying to sleep...happened until 1am. Hotel manager that will not return calls/requests to discuss or remedy issues Front desk staff that are uninterested in doing their job

Reserved a Superior Club Room and was not disappointed . Room Very Spacious and being on a corner had windows on both sides so room had lots of light. Bathroom was very large with a huge Spa Bath. The room was clean and maintained very tidy and exactly as we expected having stayed at other Silken Hotels. Reception Staff were very friendly and helpful. Car Parking was ideal and for Spain had very large Parking Spaces. Dined one night in the Hotel Restaurant which was average pasta dish was cold when served but quickly rectified. Staff appeared to be under pressure. Breakfast was very good with lots of items available on the buffet. Staff arranged for an omelette to be cooked to my specification. Would sty there again.

TThe-FariasI can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The vibe and ambiance is amazing. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are super comfortable. I love the pocket doors and the sliding shower door. The shower is spacious and inviting. The water pressure is consistent along with the water temperature. Highly recommend this hotel for any stay.

We loved this place. The location, the room, the staff, the food and wine. We booked a single night for an enroute stop after arriving in Spain at Santander. After seeing the room, we booked another night. After spending a day in town, another night. After some research over wine in the bar, more nights! The hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance to the old town, beach and shopping districts plus arena and exhibition centre. It’s an easy bus trip or train to nearby towns meaning no driving or parking issues and no uprooting, packing and unpacking. Breakfast here was excellent with good quality food and service. Reception staff were fantastic and very tolerant of us changing our booking day after day. Thanks very much to Miguel! The crux of it all was the fantastic room. Large opening doors onto the gardens, quiet location, two comfortable chairs and a small table, perfect for watching tv, reading or having a snack. There is a supermarket close by for snacks, fruit or chocolate as required. The breakfast room overlooks the park and there’s a couple of public areas aside from the bar to meet people. There was a football game one night we stayed and we loved the vibe but with the windows shut, you wouldn’t have known it was happening. As Parador ‘amigos’ we get discount too! Loved it. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! The entrance and deco has a classic elegance and style. The staff were great! friendly and very attentive. The sea views from the room window were amazing, what a pleasure to wake up to! The beach was there in front... just across the street. Gijón is a place I want to return to and I will stay here again without a doubt!

A destacar de forma positiva, la amabilidad de una chica de recepción jovencita, y la amplitud de la habitación, baño, etc. Parking gratuito Aspectos negativos: la camarera de desayunos no mostraba estar muy contenta y se transmite. Te decía donde te tenías que sentar en el desayuno ya que solamente tenía dos mesas con mantel. Las habitaciones suuuper ruidosas. Escuché a los de al lado hasta la 1 de la mañana, y los de arriba estaban de jarana y no podía dormir. El teléfono de la habitación no funcionaba para llamar a recepción… Nada tranquilo, no pude descansar. Las camas son demasiado incómodas, me levanté con un dolor de espalda increíble. A través de la puerta se ve la luz del pasillo de manera continuada. Se echa en falta algún perchero extra ya que solo había uno, y aunque sea otro rollo de papel. Viendo las fotos de las demás habitaciones, nos pusieron en la más pequeña y cutre. Ni mesa, ni sillas, ni nada. El resto, tienen la mayoría. Experiencia para no repetir.

RROBERTOHotel algo alejado del centro pero con una buena accesibilidad en coche y con aparcamiento gratis en el exterior. Destaca la limpieza y calidad de las camas. Lo unico que me desagrado fue el olor, no se si ambientador...pero es como si hubiera un rastro de tabaco. Por lo demas muy bien, el desayuno de calidad, aunque el precio de la noche fue bastante elevado. 92 euros con desayuno, a medidos de septiembre se me antoja caro. Si fuera particular, para un viaje de turismo, buscaria un precio inferior.

EEliuska MarielInmejorable ubicación en plena calle Corrida de Gijón, comercios, cafés y cerca del mar y de todas las atracciones turísticas. La atención es amable por parte de todo el personal, la habitación era para 3 personas y estuvo cómoda, camas confortables, nada de ruidos, lencería de cama extra. Hay calefacción pero no la usamos. Agua caliente, todo ok, la limpieza excelente. Las habitaciones tienen caja fuerte, la nuestra no tiene minibar pero en recepción tienen bebidas para cargar a cuenta, de verdad un muy buen hotel. Desayunamos fuera, pero hay salón de comedor y ví a los huéspedes comer. ¡Volvería a quedarme sin dudas!
