This property is in the heart of downtown Swindon. A Salvation Army shares the building so there were always people hangin out in front. Never felt unsafe, just a bit seedy. Great location in the heart of downtown. Easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean and did the job. Can't really complain for the price.

I have now stayed at this hotel for 3 days a week for two weeks due to clinical work in Swindon. I can’t thanks the staff enough for there hospitality and support. I do however feel for the staff, as the lack of people using the hotel using masks amazes me. The staff try and remind the visitors about the mask rules. Just a shame people don’t have more respect for those still working through the pandemic. Sue was able to accommodate a room change to have a bath for me with no hassle. I’ve seen so much cleaning the staff are doing throughout the day to ensure the safety to those visitors. Well done to the team at Swindon Travel lodge central. See you next week

I received a warm and friendly welcome and my room was very clean, the shower was also really good. The staff are lovely here and the check in and check out were both quick and easy- definitely recommend this hotel

Lauren is the best staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, so helpful, kind, has a great sense of humour, so polite and as down to earth as you can get, never have i felt so welcomed and looked after, felt like I was at a home far away from how with her warm presence, she deserves a pay rise for all the hard work she is doing while injured she is certainly the most hard working person I have had the pleasure of meeting, 10 out of 10 for care, banter and dedicated hard work.

It is what it says on the can - a budget hotel at a budget price. I stayed for two nights and certainly would stay again - the manager and her team were really welcoming and friendly. My remarkably large room was spotless, well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed. Ok, the double glazed windows were not totally soundproof but for a budget hotel really good. The eat all you can breakfast was superb, everything you needed and the hot items really well cooked and presented. My first breakfast was on a Sunday and the bean to cup coffee maker decided to go wrong. The manager (sorry I did not note your name) and her staff, knowing an engineer would not come out until Monday, worked away and eventually got it going again. I was willing to act a guinea pig, trying the first (delicious) cup of fresh brew. Maybe the building looks unassuming but inside is a gem. Fantastic value for money, best Travelodge I have visited.

Amazing hotel. Clean, and welcoming.Maria and Molly were very helpful and friendly. I will recommend it. I come with my friends for a night out to town, old town were full of teenagers and drunk people, however, over all we enjoy staying in Swindon, especially to Travelodge central Swindon.

We stayed here to be near relatives for Christmas. We had a family room, which was really comfy. We all slept well. Even our child who doesn’t normally sleep! Breakfast was great, staff were friendly. Bargain price. We’ll definitely stay again.
