Hotel berhampiran Parramatta Station, Sydney

Great location. A number of cafes and restaurants within a 1-2 minute walk from the hotel. There’s also a large Westfield shopping complex about a 10-minute walk away, with even more restaurants and retail stores for your perusing. For those taking public transport, Parramatta train station is a similar distance (shopping centre and train station are side-by-side), which is an easy/flat walk to and from the hotel. During our stay, we were liaising with Claire, who was brilliant throughout. We had three rooms booked, and she looked after us all very well. The staff overall were friendly, and the rooms were renovated and modern. The buffet breakfast was not an overly large in selection, but a good amount of options to choose from.

My stay was OK but the maintenance and cleanliness were bad. The phone, the microwave and the safety box were not working. The construction noise was really bad despite being moved to higher levels. I

The gym, pool and sauna are still being built. Unfortunately, there was still drilling and hammering at 11pm at night when I stayed. Once construction is complete, this will be an amazing hotel.

I attended a conference held in the Lennox Ballroom, and it was easiest to stay at the same hotel. Check-in and check-out was ok, a bit slow and had to wait until someone bothered to look up and see me standing there. Location is good, next to many eateries and a short (about 10-15 minute) walk to Westfield mall. The room was average, with all basic requirements. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and basic necessities were there. Points for improvement include - no full length mirror in the room (only the bathroom mirror above the sink), shower head was about an inch above my head (I'm 158cm), the shower screen was too small to stop water splashing onto the floor while showering, unusual room layout meant passing through a narrow gap between wall and corner of bed to reach the bathroom, and unvacuumed floor despite putting up the sign for room cleaning. The sofa at reception was large and useful, unfortunately had a few small rips in it. While the hotel is adequate, more attention to details might help to elevate the customer experience.

For the price we paid, it was quite good. It was fairly clean & tidy. However, some of the fixtures are aging a bit, our mirror had started to desilver a little & the shower curtain rod had a light tint of rust on it (a good scrub with steel wool will fix it); the shower head needs a limescale cleaning or replacing as it kind of sprays everywhere except where you expect it. The room includes everything you would need to sleep two people & live comfortably for an extended time. The appliances are relatively new, including a drawer Dishwasher, 2 burner electric Stove top & washing machine/dryer. If you do stay here, treat yourself to breakfast, It's one of the better hotel kitchens I have had the pleasure of eating at. The Staff here are Great, very Polite & extremely helpful, and they never gave me the impression that they were too busy to help. We had the City View (Parramatta), it's quite nice at night. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Nesuto.

We stayed for four nights and really enjoyed our stay. Location was great. Woolworths and fast food options across the street. The service from Jack was excellent. He went out of his way to make sure me and my family were comfortable. Rooms were outdated but the suite was nice, and everything was well cleaned. Look forward to our next stay. I have visited Parramatta for work on quite a number of occasions now and despite there being many hotels for me to choose from - this is the only place I will stay. From the moment you arrive the staff are just wonderful. Thanks definitely need to go to Jessica, the last 2 times I have been greeted by her, I've been tired after my drive. The first time she gave me some snacks and suggested I go to my room, put my feet up and enjoy...this time I arrived to 44 degree heat and she immediately offered and handed me a cold bottle of water and made my check in a breeze each time. The rooms are clean and spacious and have everything your own home would have, plus more. The pool - I could have stayed by all day. This place is a must stay when in Parramatta.

We always stay here when we go to the hospital. If you call and book that way you can get hospital rates, if that’s where you’re going! So accomodating, and they’re more than happy to go above and beyond to ensure you’re comfortable. Parking is convenient and there’s plenty of it. Such a convenient location, we stay there when we have things at the public and private hospital. Close to bus stops, the station and great food locations. The Thai a few doors up is amazing. Also the restaurant attached to the motel is great!

We were in Sydney on business and stayed one night at the Ibis. Despite being Accor Hotel Members we were given the most basic of rooms. Generally the rooms are very dated in need of complete renovation. The floor of the room was uneven with a huge concrete bump under the carpet at the doorway of the bathroom! It is a trip hazard and very unsightly. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The room was very small though and we would have appreciated a bit more room. The windows opened which was great for fresh air was but hoons doing burnouts on the road below during the night forced us to keep them closed unfortunately. The bed was super comfy. The Brasserie was nice with a limited menu but the waiter forgot to give us a side dish for our main meal. Breakfast was fairly expensive for plain continental (no hot food) breakfast. The waitstaff were friendly. The lady who checked us out was very friendly and happy to have a chat.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park as it was most conveniently located to the hospital that my son needed to attend at Strathfield. The check in process was quite smooth and whilst the parking was limited at times, it was adequate. We booked 2 rooms. The corner room was nice and large, and had a great outlook, however, when we arrived, there was a service person doing electrical testing in the kitchen. He had headphones on and was obviously listening to something that made him unable to hear that we had come in. After a minute or so, he finally realised that we were there. He left dust and residue on the kitchen bench so I had to clean up afterwards. The other room that we booked was a standard twin room and much smaller. Unfortunately there was used milk left in the fridge. The interior furnishings of the rooms are looking a little dated now and could do with some upgrading. We dined in the restaurant for one breakfast and one dinner. Unfortunately, the chef on breakfast obviously didn't understand what dairy and gluten free means as we ordered dairy free scrambled eggs with gluten free toast. A beautiful, large plate of toast, eggs and hash browns was brought out by the waitress. I questioned whether the hash browns were gluten free as they are not in the other Accor Hotels that we stay at regularly. Shortly after, then chef came out to collect the hash browns as she confirmed that they were not gluten free. I then had a feeling that something was not right with the eggs. Sure enough, when I questioned it again, she had put cream in the eggs! It could have completely ruined our trip and it left me very reluctant to dine there again. There was noise from night activities and events in the area but that all subsided at a reasonable hour so our sleep was not disturbed too much. Great location near Accor Stadium, Qudos Bank Arena, Monster Skate Park, Train station. I was a little disappointed with the lack of variety of restaurants in the area. The parking was $44 per 24 hour period for Accor Plus members and it was convenient to be able to come and go under the one fee. We would stay again if we needed to be in the area but I would be very cautious again about dining in the restaurant due to our allergies.
