Hotel berhampiran Costco, Taipei

We stayed at this hotel for our quarantine stay (3+4). This hotel was the highest priced quarantine hotel in Taipei. As Taiwan is moving away from quarantine, it is unclear whether this hotel will remain a quarantine hotel. Provided meals: Three meals were provided. I believe they rotated it somewhat. I would give them 4 stars overall. They were of mid-to-high end quality, but certainly not Michelin star or 5-star hotel restaurant's quality. That is, I had much better at The Regent or The Sheraton Taipei. That said, there was a microwave in the room for one to heat up the meals to a warmer setting as the meals were prepared in bulk at the lobby. They were lukewarm when the meals arrived in our room. It appeared some meals were prepared by the hotel restaurant and others were from outside sources. The meals were *********, Korean, and Japanese focused. If one wants Western foods, then Food Panda or Uber Eats will be what you want. There are expensive local restaurants at Xinyi Districts that you can pay for to get your own food. Check with the hotel on delivery times, I believe that they won't refund the costs of the meals if one chooses not to eat the prepaid meals. Prior to booking the quarantine hotel, they will send one a form to ask for some preferences and/or allergies. There was a toaster and hot water boiler in the room. The drip coffee and tea packets were super flavorful and refilled (via Line or other means of contact) during our stay. In fact, most contacts were done remotely during the quarantine period. Room: This is what one is paying for in this place if one is stuck here for 8 days (landing day is Day 0). The bed and beddings were super comfortable. The bed was a full king, My room was in the smaller side, but sufficient for two people and eight pieces of luggage. The room was super clean. We know, because we tried wiping some areas and found them to be stainless. We also noticed, via the peephole, that housekeeping took over two hours to deep clean our neighbor's room - including the use of what appeared to be an ultraviolet wand to clean some service areas. There was a clothes-wire in the bathroom if one needed to do handwash laundry during the quarantine stay. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't provide any detergent, but we used the provide soap, The bathroom was large with rain showerhead available. The toilet was a bit too high up off the floor for us as we are around 5 ft 8 inches but flushed well. If one's room faced south or east, one would get a good view of Taipei 101. The south side would get a full view, and east side (our room) got the view from the couch in the ”living room” area. The TV was pretty large and we could watch it from our bed comfortably. The only complaint, if any, was that it didn't have as many international channels for this high-end hotel. I wanted Bloomberg, but nothing was offered. Not even CNBC. The WiFi was very fast. This hotel is very well located in the heart of the city, very convenient

Overall, room is clean, service is good, location is strategic with direct access to public transport. Service can be improved where they initially assigned a standard room size equipped with superior double bed to us who reserved a superior double room. Unfortunately we have to stay a night in the assigned room before shifting to the intended room. Photos below are the initially assigned room where it is different from the pictures shown on Trip.com for superior double room. Overall, it is still a good hotel.

Persekitarannya cantik. Lokasi bas ulang-alik tidak jelas. Ia bersebelahan dengan bas. Ia adalah pondok bas kecil. Kolam renang adalah jarak tertentu dari tempat penginapan. Tiada laluan pejalan kaki yang jelas dan bahaya berkongsi dengan kereta. Ia adalah kawasan renang yang lebih profesional. Orang yang tidak boleh berenang boleh meminjam pelampung tetapi tidak boleh. Sayang sekali menggunakan cincin renang. Terdapat diskaun untuk penginapan dan lawatan berpandu. Jika penginapan termasuk lawatan atau harga lebih rendah, jejak rahsia yang lebih baik adalah perjalanan sekali sahaja. Grand Hotel selesa dan boleh dikunjungi lagi. Stik Grand Mountain sedap.

Room was amazing - huge and clean! Enjoyed the space, the automatic toilets with bidet, shower gels from Crabtree, ample towels, weighing machine, table, chair and sofa. Rooms are not really sound proof though, could hear sounds from other rooms but still tolerable. Service - front desk was super helpful, friendly, joyful. Truly felt that their service was sincere and excellent!! They gave good recommendations for breakfast, helped me call to check restaurants if they had the food I was looking for, helped me with airport transfer booking. Service at the breakfast area was great too! Breakfast - very Instagram worthy!!! Enjoyed the choices of drinks, mains were decent, the breads were really yummy. Looked forward to breakfast daily Gym - was equipped with water and towels and even a bathroom. Very impressed. The only downside is the location. It’s pretty near Zhongshan area but walking in the summer heat to the train station is no joke. Not a lot of yummy food around. But Uber is relatively affordable so if you’re ok with ubering around or walking slightly to the train station then it’s quite perfect.

Our company has come here for a award ceremony event. The planing was done very amazing... The food also was good. the hotel staff was very helpfull especially Shivani and kush.. even the food was good like the chicken chilli i would recommend it..

Clean and big room. Daily cleaning and service recovery can be improved. Our toilet was clogged up and couldn't be used to shower because daily cleaning did not remove the hair. However hotel couldn't resolve the problem immediately at night as they didn't have engineering dept at work. There was also no service recovery for this incident.

Great hotel in a central location. Room was very comfortable, large beds and a large tv. Good selection of food for breakfast including an egg station to get freshly made omelette or scrambled eggs. Would definitely recommend.

Biliknya sangat kecil, katilnya sangat kotor 🥲🥲 malam pertama saya berbaring di atas katil selama kira-kira 15 minit dan mengalami reaksi gatal-gatal di seluruh badan saya (disahkan ia kotor, kulit meniskus sensitif, kali pertama saya menghadapi kes seperti ini. ). Tidak, ada balkoni, tingkap kecil agak tersumbat. Apabila saya mengalami reaksi alahan dan tidak tahan, saya turun ke meja depan dan meminta untuk menukar bilik. Maaf, saya perlu menunggu sehingga selepas jam 3:30 petang untuk mendaftar masuk. Bilik baharu itu lebih kecil daripada bilik lama, dan bahagian dalamannya kelihatan membosankan. Bilik yang saya tempah juga murah, jumlah 4H3D adalah 7735twd ~ 6 juta, 2 juta setiap malam... tetapi biliknya kecil 🥲🥲 jika saya pergi ke Daif, saya harus mengelak dari hotel ini. Tandas juga bersih dan mempunyai tab mandi 🛁 Lokasi: 5' ~ 350m berjalan kaki ke Ximending, 400m ~ 10' berjalan kaki dari stesen MRT Beimen dan Ximen. Di seberang jalan terdapat penyewaan basikal awam

Great location just in front of Ximending. Hotel space reasonable for the price paid. Variety of food for breakfast. One drawback is no heater in room make us need to turn off air conditioner as visited in winter time.
