Ulasan Orange Hotel Ximen Hanzhong

Staffs were really friendly and nice. They were attentive to our needs and cleaned the room daily. There is bidet in the toilet. There is free dryer and washing machine to use but you have to purchase the laundry detergent at the vending machine on ground floor. The wifi is strong and there is usb-c ports for charging on both sides of the bed. Thus, you don’t really need the travel adapter. We manage to store our luggage at the hotel for free on our last day in Taipei despite checking out at 12pm on the day itself. We will definitely stay in this hotel again when we are back to Taipei.

This is my second time staying here in Taipei and I absolutely love the convenience of the location, the ambiance is great and the hotel is very clean!

It is my first time doing solo travelling and it has been a great stay at Orange Hotel. The staff is very helpful and approachable. Apart from that, the room and toilet is very well maintain and very clean. It is near xi men ding as well. If I were to go taipei again, I will definitely stay here and recommend it to my friends and family. :) Thank you staff of orange hotel. 😊

Small hotel but good service and good amenities for the price paid.

Great location! Short walking distance to where the actions are. Rooms are a tad small but overall great experience. Do check out the pantry and grab your free ice cream, fruits, etc.

Location is good near ximen train station. There are complimentary snacks in lobby. Easily accessible hotel.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, just 3 minutes from Ximending and the MRT, making it ideal for both food and shopping lovers. There are Watsons and Cosmed nearby, perfect for beauty products. The room is small but clean and tidy. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, which was a nice touch. The reception staff were kind and welcoming, and we had no trouble communicating in English. One downside is that there are no amenities or water provided in the room. However, you can easily buy these from the vending machine in the lobby or at the 7/11 just across the road. The 7/11 is great for midnight snacks, with meals ranging from 89 to 99 NTD, and a tea egg only costs 10 NTD. A nice little perk is the free crackers and nuts available in a basket at the reception counter. If you're lucky, you might even find some pineapple or mango cakes. In general, it's a great hotel for anyone visiting Taipei, especially if you love shopping and want a convenient option.

Our last two nights with them were crazy! It is the summer season, with average temperatures of 36 degrees Celsius, and the room's central air conditioning was automatically shut off after midnight, around 2 a.m. I called up the reception and was told that we had to restart the AC power. Last morning, before checking out. The AC automatically adjusted to 24 degrees Celsius and slowly went up to 26.5 degrees Celsius!!! Hellooooo... Do you guys know how stuffy and warm it was to be in the room with these crazy claimed to be centralised temperature settings?? Overrated hotel. Overrated services and rooms on social media platforms. During checkout, there was a lady at the reception; she was the only staff member there, always with a smile and a humble attitude.👍 Thumbs up to her sincerity and patience!! She was on shift on July 23, 2024, during the checkout period (afternoon). (Young, petite-sized lady.)

great place to stay although the room is small. they didn’t inform us about adding extra cost when I booked for 3 person (additional 300 per night). I will still recommend the place and location 🙂

The hotel is nice and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The staff at the reception speak english, so that is nice. The only thing is if you book breakfast, you get breakfast vouchers to go have breakfast at one of 3 coffee places in the vicinity. There is no restaurant/breakfast hall in the hotel itself, and the closest coffee place to have breakfast in is about a 5 -7 mins walk away. The hotel is only a 3 - 5 mins walk to Ximen MRT Station exit 1 and 6 and Ximending walking district is right by the Ximen MRT Station exit 6. Ximen Station is also the pick up location for multiple day trips to Shifen and Jiufen, so it is convenient.

Location is a short walk to XMD H&M, Roughly 5 mins walk. Room is very very small. Big luggage need to open on the bed. Toothpaste and Toothbrush need to be purchased at lobby vending machine. Is not included with the stay. However, Shower head pressure is strong, Bed is comfortable, Hair Dryer very powerful, most of the thing is considered to be quite new or in very good condition.

The room is a bit small and able to open 2 26-inch luggage only. However, the overall location and cleanliness are worth for money.

Great for a solo trip. Rooms are small but clean. Washrooms, especially the shower, is very spacious. It is a bit lacking in terms of amenities and facilities but it makes up for it with affordable price.
