Star Hostel Taipei Main Station

Star Hostel Taipei is a clean, pleasant, and well-organized place to stay. The hostel is very tidy and well maintained, and the rooms are small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. We had a double room with private bathroom. Towels are provided and changed daily although room cleaning is not. Breakfast is simple but sufficient, and we appreciated how well it is managed, with guests divided into three time slots to avoid overcrowding. This makes the experience smooth and relaxed. The staff at the reception are friendly and helpful, and small thoughtful details, such as complimentary umbrellas for guests, really make a difference. The location is excellent: it’s on a quiet side street, close to a shopping mall, and extremely close to Taipei Main Station, with easy access to trains and the MRT. There are also many food options nearby, making it very convenient. Overall, a great choice in Taipei. Highly recommended.

Lovely hostel, clean and bright, fast Wi-Fi, and good community area and kitchen. Complimentary breakfast changes every day with plenty of choice. Very close to the MRT and bus station Hotel is on two floors without a lift. Reception staff have good knowledge of the area and were very helpful.

Lovely place. Modern, clean, trendy. We (couple in our 50s) had a double room and our daughter had a single room, both were great (they also have dorm accommodation). Quiet, cool cafe / communal lounge area with free tea etc. Breakfast (different each day) well worth having. Obligatory faux leather sliders when you arrive, such a smart touch. Def would recommend.

Its an amazing hostel at a great location...one of the best I have ever stayed at. Unlike elsewhere in Taiwan this hostel was quite social which is surely cause of the spacious common area which is so beautiful and exudes a super nice super relaxed atmosphere..it doesn't feel like you are in a hostel. Breakfast served is very good and changes daily. The dorms were clean with comfy beds, big lockers and good aircon n air purifier. The bathrooms n toilets were nice n clean. They have a very well quipped kitchen as well. Try the yummy donuts opposite the hostel. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This hostel is one of a kind! You can’t compare it to any hostel you’ve ever stayed. There are dorms with shared bathrooms and private rooms with a bathroom inside the room. Everything is super clean! The common room is super creative with a small wooden house, nice chairs, many plants and a open kitchen. The breakfast was very good with vegan options and the staff was very friendly! The train station is super close and there are may restaurants and shops near by. We will definitely come back!

Star Hostel - Taipei Main Station was a clean, convenient place to stay. Breakfast was included. Cheap eating places are close by. Ningxia night market is not too far away for delicious food. Helpful staff. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is best hostel I’ve been, the facilities, rooms and cleanliness are all excellent. Staffs are accommodating and helpful, rate is fair,breakfast is good! Some spots are also IG worthy. I highly recommend this hostel for tourists. Location is convenient!

This is my 4th stay at Star Hostel. So far I’ve enjoyed all my stays. The location is very convenient as it is just minutes away from Taipei Main Station, where you can take the metro or trains. I chose a private room with ensuite bathroom. Price wise it’s definitely more affordable than a lot of hotels in the area. Rooms are clean and quiet. The common area is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is ok and they have a different menu every day.

직원분들 모두 친절하고 아늑한 숙소입니다. 숙소도 깔끔하고 위치도 좋아요. 특히 체크아웃하고 오후 3시쯤에 예약한 차량이 오기전까지 리셉션 옆에서 쉬고 있었는데, 버블티 만들기 체험을 권유해주셔서 아이들이 즐거운 추억을 만들수 있었습니다. 다음에 다시 타이베이에 놀러간다면 또 머물고 싶은 최고의 숙소입니다.
