We've traveled worldwide, and The Koos Hotel is the worst and dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. If you are considering staying at this place, book another place now. My family had a big family reunion in Taiwan. Due to the hotel's convenient location, which is within walking distance from my relative's house, we booked several rooms to accommodate our big family. The night front staff was rude from the minute we walked into the hotel. He has no basic manner (ie. hello, thank you, or smile). I feel sorry for this miserable man. The day shift front desk staff was better but could have been better too. The hotel is very old and needs a lot of work/TLC. You can smell it as soon as you walk into the room. The carpet and bathroom were old and dirty. One of our rooms even had a moldy closet. The shower was not draining and flooded when we took a shower. The AC is bearly working to stay cold. Not to mention, we saw cockroaches in the room. The list goes on and on. The only clean thing was the bed sheet and bathroom towels. We arrived very early at 1 am, plus many of us just got off the plane after 15 hours of international flight. We don't have enough energy to find another hotel at that time. Besides, we have already paid for the rooms. What annoyed me the most was when the manager promised us a bigger room (we even double-confirmed before arrival); by the time we check-in, the same night shift front desk staff said the room they promised us was booked by other people already and gave us a standard room instead. No apology whatsoever. We are upset because the Koos Hotel has no simple principle and all because they want to make an extra buck. I don't want anyone to be treated this way. Hotel is right next to the subway station on the 6th and 7th floor. Next to a great bakery. Room has enough space and everything you need, also a fridge, very nice and amazing shower! Simple breakfast of your choice was delivered to your room.

離捷運站稍有一點距離 可騎Ubike或者是搭公車 搭計程車大概是95到100元 我住的是最高樓層 1510房 4人房型 房間真的蠻大的 也很乾淨 這間房間是西曬 如果天氣熱 訂房前最好先確認一下 床還蠻好睡的 至少不會太硬 溫泉部分 很滿意 浴缸算大 蓄水速度也蠻快 水溫夠熱 也沒有大家說的 有沙子的情況 浴廁那邊的燈 沒有辦法從房間這邊控制 也不好找 可能要問飯店客服人員 飯店不提供一次性消耗的備品 所以比如 拖鞋 浴帽 棉花棒 牙膏牙刷 這些東西自己要準備 飯店提供的有 牆上擠壓式沐浴乳洗髮精 大浴巾 毛巾 漱口杯 房間的礦泉水喝完 可以去裝在公共空間的3M過濾水 應該是每個樓層都有 這次的住宿經驗 比較不滿意的 大概只有早餐 種類不算少 絕對夠吃 只是品質不是很好 舉例來說 大頭菜湯 大頭菜滿老的 感覺是次級品 本以為這道菜湯是吃素的也ok 但喝了湯 才發現是柴魚湯頭 現代吃素的人還蠻多的 我在飯店有遇到一些印度人 印度是全球吃素比例最高的國家 建議飯店可以增加素食可食用的品項 並且標示要清楚

捷運站出口出去不到5分鐘就可以抵達, 比起其他必須要到對岸並得走上坡的飯店要方便很多. 飯店的人員很親切友善. 房間的清潔度待改善, 一開始覺得還不錯, 後來開始在窗檯發現未清的垃圾, 地板也不是很乾凈, 衣櫃邊角還有之前房客遺留的茶漬/咖啡漬, 要喝水時發現杯子都是髒的必需要請人員來更換 隔天委婉地請房務來清潔房間但可能人手不足所以我們不在的時間無法幫忙打掃 早餐的部分很簡單, 但基本上種類都齊全

2017 Dec 17-19. The family with the extended family had our quick getaway to Taipei. The trip consists mostly of zoo visit and tours. We had a glorious time, so we never managed to experience the hotel facilities too much. The proximity of the place to the tourist areas and price were consideration for the booking.

Since its inception in 1985, the hotel has not been very active in upgrading the hotel's hardware. In particular, ㅗ hotel facilities in toilets and rooms are concerned about safety issues. The corners are angled and the material is very hard. For this reason, we moved the room three times during the five days of stay. Of course, the hotel quickly changed the room, but there is a problem with the way it handled it. The problem must be observed with the hotel official, and the room was not exchanged until the problem was resolved. One day, the air conditioner did not work due to a problem with the electrical wiring, so the temperature in the room rose, and a problem I discovered around 5 a.m. was only after the technician came to check the problem, replaced the parts, and was prescribed a possibility of reoccurrence. The newly assigned room had a problem with the toilet, which was also asked to check until the next person resolved the problem. The housekeeper should not throw the toilet paper away in the toilet, but in the trash can placed in the bathroom. It is a request that does not fit the hotel rating and I cannot find the phrase to do so anywhere. I am satisfied with the size of the hotel room, the restaurant, and various facilities, but the too old hotel facilities and various problems that appear due to not being properly upgraded for a long time are factors that pull the evaluation of this hotel down.

With a 5-minute walk to the subway station, the hotel is surrounded by street food and a restaurant. Very friendly staff. cleanliness in every corner. The hotel location is almost in the middle between two famous areas Ximen (The best night market in Taipei) and Xinyi district (Taipei 101 and luxury branding shop).
