Hotel berhampiran Taipei 101, Taipei

Room was clean and spacious. Excellent location almost opposite Taipei 101. Service was good and the breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. Bed was comfy and nothing went bump in the middle of the night!

We stayed at this hotel for our quarantine stay (3+4). This hotel was the highest priced quarantine hotel in Taipei. As Taiwan is moving away from quarantine, it is unclear whether this hotel will remain a quarantine hotel. Provided meals: Three meals were provided. I believe they rotated it somewhat. I would give them 4 stars overall. They were of mid-to-high end quality, but certainly not Michelin star or 5-star hotel restaurant's quality. That is, I had much better at The Regent or The Sheraton Taipei. That said, there was a microwave in the room for one to heat up the meals to a warmer setting as the meals were prepared in bulk at the lobby. They were lukewarm when the meals arrived in our room. It appeared some meals were prepared by the hotel restaurant and others were from outside sources. The meals were *********, Korean, and Japanese focused. If one wants Western foods, then Food Panda or Uber Eats will be what you want. There are expensive local restaurants at Xinyi Districts that you can pay for to get your own food. Check with the hotel on delivery times, I believe that they won't refund the costs of the meals if one chooses not to eat the prepaid meals. Prior to booking the quarantine hotel, they will send one a form to ask for some preferences and/or allergies. There was a toaster and hot water boiler in the room. The drip coffee and tea packets were super flavorful and refilled (via Line or other means of contact) during our stay. In fact, most contacts were done remotely during the quarantine period. Room: This is what one is paying for in this place if one is stuck here for 8 days (landing day is Day 0). The bed and beddings were super comfortable. The bed was a full king, My room was in the smaller side, but sufficient for two people and eight pieces of luggage. The room was super clean. We know, because we tried wiping some areas and found them to be stainless. We also noticed, via the peephole, that housekeeping took over two hours to deep clean our neighbor's room - including the use of what appeared to be an ultraviolet wand to clean some service areas. There was a clothes-wire in the bathroom if one needed to do handwash laundry during the quarantine stay. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't provide any detergent, but we used the provide soap, The bathroom was large with rain showerhead available. The toilet was a bit too high up off the floor for us as we are around 5 ft 8 inches but flushed well. If one's room faced south or east, one would get a good view of Taipei 101. The south side would get a full view, and east side (our room) got the view from the couch in the ”living room” area. The TV was pretty large and we could watch it from our bed comfortably. The only complaint, if any, was that it didn't have as many international channels for this high-end hotel. I wanted Bloomberg, but nothing was offered. Not even CNBC. The WiFi was very fast. When we booked the hotel we did not realise that Da'An was a Taipei foodies' haunt! When we started to run through our MUST EAT LIST we discovered for example that the most famous bean curd place was 200 m from the hotel! It's a small hotel but located just a short walk from the metro station. My wife liked the added security of the rooms facing inwards to a open central atrium. The WiFi however was really very laggy and unusable. Hope they all improve but the time I visit again. The only thing I didn't like was having to pay 200 TWD for having misplaced one of the room cards. Most hotels I stay at around the world don't even bother to ask for it to be returned these days.

I received the best hotel stay experience in Taipei with this Hotel, very clean and tidy, up to Japanese style word class standard. I also join the hotel group membership with a gift of ice cream. the laundry facilities were great and easy to access at the lobby. This hotel also provides quick path to check out by dropping the key card to a collection box on the ground floor, saving a lot of time.

Super great service, especially when I fell ill and needed to go to hospital immediately. Hotel staff acted fast and whole process was smooth. Special shootout to the staff who attended me that morning.sorry did not have the chance to catch her name. Check out is also a breeze. Definitely will recommend to anyone going Taipei to stay here.

Roughly 5 mins walk to XMD H&M. Room is fairly size in XMD (Near) considered those at XMD to be very small in room sq ft. Lots of tour bus bringing their costumer staying in this hotel, so do expect for long Breakfast Q in the morning. Sound proof not very good as well, students next room is making lots of noises in the middle of the night and clearly can be heard.

Kali kedua tinggal di sini, secara keseluruhan semuanya baik. Palam pengering rambut sangat longgar, jadi anda perlu menekan palam untuk meniup rambut anda. Tempat menyidai baju hanya beberapa cangkuk pendek di dinding agak tidak mencukupi 😂 Macam mana pun adjust suhu aircond, rasa macam sama je😅 Lokasinya bersebelahan dengan Ximending Ia agak dekat dengan Stesen Beimen dan mengambil masa kira-kira 10 minit. Ia mengambil masa kira-kira 7 minit dari hotel ke Ximending. Cumanya tiada tingkap, jadi senang tidur sampai lupa masa 😂 Tapi harganya agak murah.

There are two buildings and the one on Google is the one for more than one person's rooms. I wish it was an information I got before arriving so I didn't have to walk around, even though both are really close by. The other building only has a Chinese name on Google map - 西門星辰精典大飯店. Apart from that, my stay was very good! Room is nice, I didn't use the TV so I don't know about its quality. Aircon works wonder and the shower's pressure is top tier ! 🤣 We also got free hot drinks and I do love my hot chocolate from time to time. 😌 Window is useless though, it feels like you don't have one. Location is perfect. Not too far from the subway and some bus stops.

Persekitarannya cantik. Lokasi bas ulang-alik tidak jelas. Ia bersebelahan dengan bas. Ia adalah pondok bas kecil. Kolam renang adalah jarak tertentu dari tempat penginapan. Tiada laluan pejalan kaki yang jelas dan bahaya berkongsi dengan kereta. Ia adalah kawasan renang yang lebih profesional. Orang yang tidak boleh berenang boleh meminjam pelampung tetapi tidak boleh. Sayang sekali menggunakan cincin renang. Terdapat diskaun untuk penginapan dan lawatan berpandu. Jika penginapan termasuk lawatan atau harga lebih rendah, jejak rahsia yang lebih baik adalah perjalanan sekali sahaja. Grand Hotel selesa dan boleh dikunjungi lagi. Stik Grand Mountain sedap.

Great stay with strategic location. Walking distance to shih lin night market and jian tan station. Even have free spa for ladies in the hotel. Would definitely visit again!
