Hotel Takayama dengan Gim

Hotel is in a very good location being very near to the Old Town where the attractions and restaurants are. However there is limited parking space, and we had to park in a public car park 100m away. Staff were friendly, but communication was a little difficult as they were not very conversant in English. Overall nice hotel.

福地温泉は奥飛騨温泉郷の中でもいかにも山中に来たというちょうどいい寂れ感があって、この元湯孫九郎も温泉が充実しつつも秘湯っぽい雰囲気がいいと思います。 価格帯的にもサービス的にも、旅館としては中級なので、高級旅館のようなおもてなし感を期待してると少し残念かもしれませんが、温泉メインでちょっと奥地らしい旅館を求めてる層にはしっくりくるんじゃないでしょうか。 正面玄関の雰囲気と比べると、部屋は改装してそれほど経っていないのできれいで、設備等も申し分ありません。デイベッドのある部屋に泊まったので、湯上りにそこでだらだら本を読んだりして、とてもリラックスできました。 あちこちに置いてある小物類もかわいくて良いアクセントでした。 温泉は混み具合にもよるのかもしれませんが、旅館の規模に対して内湯・露天風呂・貸切風呂と十分にあり、泉質も変えてあるので何度も楽しめます。バスタオルが人数より多めに用意されてるのも、温泉をエンジョイしてほしいという配慮が感じられました。 料理はそれほど凝ったものではありませんが旅館の雰囲気とも合ったこの地域らしい内容で、飛騨牛もおいしく、量も十分ありました。 それ以外にも、庭や高級音響設備の部屋など、ちょっとひまだなと思ったらウロウロするところもあって、2泊3泊といても、のんびりする目的なら飽きずに過ごせると思います。時期は限られるでしょうが、7月上旬の庭にはホタルも飛び交っていて、テラスからは星空もきれいで、手持ち無沙汰になりがちな夜も楽しめました。 接客の人によるムラも、この規模の旅館なら味と思える範囲で、困ったことなどはありませんでした。 全体に小規模旅館なのでオーナーのセンスが色濃く出ている部分もあり、そこが合うか合わないかで印象も変わってくるかもしれませんが、インテリアやスタンスなどトーンが整っていて、旅館としてバランスがとれていたと思います。

The best hotel I stayed in my trip! Location is perfect, 3-5mins walk to jr, bus terminal, and the resto味藏天國. The design is grand and classy, heat is sufficient. The outdoor onsen is not big but very very comfy. Room is large, clean and comfy, the best thing is about the washing machine and microwave! Never seen any in the hotels I stayed. Got netflix and youtube on TV. Great great value. I would definitely come back and stay in this hotel again!!

Country Hotel Takayama is the perfect home away from home in Takayama, Gifu Japan.This hotel is located right across the Nohi Bus Terminal which is right beside to Takayama Train Station. When you get off from the bus, you will immediately see the building. Aside from their perfect location, this hotel also has a KONBINI (are Japanese convenience stores) Family Mart at the ground floor, open 24 hours. Morning markets, Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, Old Town Street, Hida Kokubunji Temple and Nakabashi bridge are a few tourist location you can easily access by walking (10-15 minutes) from the hotel. I was here last February 24 to 26, 2020. The room is quite spacious for me, got a single room type but I think it can accommodate 2 people in it. I was able to booked it online through Agoda.com for Php 4,024.78, not bad! It has complete basic amenities you can find in a room including a comfy sleeping robe. Room is super clean and smells so good. Considering I wrongly booked the smoking type room. The only downside I had about the room was that the heater was broken. It was so hot inside, thanked God it was winter time so I just slightly opened my window. So cold breeze from the outside can get in. Overall, Country Hotel Takayama is HIGHLY RECOMMEND aside from their perfect location. Staff are very good, speaks English and really helpful and accommodating. Their Manager helped me booked a taxi who is going to picked me up at the highway on my route to Gujo Hachiman. Because taxis in Gujo Hachiman are booked a day before your arrival and they don’t speak English at all. And If you’re a Filipino, you are most likely going to bumped into one of our kababayan who is working on this hotel. So far, she’s the only Pinoy here and she speaks Bisaya, from Davao City. Super cozy hotel with a really comfy Japanese style room. I liked that I had a nice view of the city in the mountains. Staff was nice enough. Great amenities. Enjoyed the in-house onsen with indoor and outdoor tubs and a cold plunge. I The only negative I experienced was after a late night bath for about an hour was the sink and make up area floor was full of hair. . Long, dark hair from the blow drying was all over the floor. No one had checked the facility in the hour plus that I was there. to clean it in the hour that I was there.

The hotel is only 1 block across the JR station with many restaurants around the area, less than 10 minutes leisure walk to the historic area. Room is very well maintained and spacious, with comfortable beddings, strong showers. The hotel is very responsive with my emails and questions, I feel that they are really trying their best to accomodate my request with occupant change that we really appreciate. Breakfast is adequate with a good selection of hot dishes, Japanese and continental. Overall a great hotel in Takayama

Superbe hôtel, complètement neuf bonne taille de chambres , à côté de la gare, mais, pas de bruit et pas loin de quartiers traditionnels de la ville. Onsen à l'intérieur, possibilité de le réserver pour 45mn. Grande découverte, tout confort, cet hôtel à plein de petits détails pour un excellent séjour et bien entendu son personnel et toujours aux petits soins avec nous, d'une énorme gentillesse .

We were lucky to stay at Mercure Takayami on their opening night. Everything about the hotel was above our expectations. Rooms were a very comfortable with attention to detail. Having USB and USB C charging ports for our electronics next to the bed was very convenient and meant we didn't need to search for our Japan power adaptors. This hotel has been well designed with a focus on local traditional carpentry and joinery skills. When you book this hotel make sure you book a room that includes access to the private Onsen. We had an open-air experience while we watched the snow from our private onsen. Breakfast had an extensive range of Tradition Hida dishes and Western choices, with different options available each day. This was a great way to try Hida Beef Curry and Hida chicken cooked on a traditional grill. Staff were very helpful going above and beyond with their dedicated and personal service, even searching the internet for me to find a store that sold Yama Cola. We will be back to stay again and will try to stay longer next time.
