Hotel offers great rates. Very popular with the locals. Many parking lots for those who drives. Nearby to eateries, convenience store and a laundry mart. Local street stalls around the area for one to try out the food. Walking distance to the clock tower.

Really nice hotel with a quite cheap price. Only 10 minutes’ walk from the bus station. Very close to the night market. The boy at the reception is very cute and kind. The room is quite clean. It is the best choice in Chiang Rai.

Brilliant hotel, they kindly upgraded us on arrival to a lovely big room with a balcony. The hotel gym is one of the best I’ve ever seen for hotel gym standards, very impressed. Huge outdoor swimming pool & breakfast was included in our stay, which wasn’t the best in our opinion. But overall, cracking stay, would stay again, staff incredibly helpful.

I’d rather say it’s more of a piece of art than just a hotel. Great interior and exterior design. Professional staff. High cuisine. Amazing view and atmosphere overall. Good location, hotel neighbors with the Blue Temple which is a must too see. 5/5, i will recommend this hotel to every my friend who’s going to visit Chiang Rai.

Awesome place! Really feels like a resort in the town area and even though I don’t get to enjoy the facilities there fully but I fell in love with the hotel as there place is so beautiful! Sadly can’t show you the place as I took a video but highly recommend this hotel, I would love to go back again!!

Hotel was clean, staff were professional and friendly. Location of hotel was walkable distance to everything we needed and wanted to explore. Nearby cat cafe, night bazaar and market, restaurants, massages and bus station. Forgot one of my items of clothing at the hotel and they were kind enough to mail it to my hotel in Bangkok for me to pick up. Quality service.

I didn't explore much about this area, staying a night, worth for money, the hotel surrounding with local residentials, can have a small walk, there is a cafe next to the hotel building. The room with kitchen sink, bath room is spacious & clean. Will stay again If next time to chiang rai .

Hotel molto bello e molto pulito, personale gentile e cortese (ti aprono la porto, ti prenotano Uber, ti chiamano in camera per svegliarti quando sanno che hai un’escursione). Ottimo per il senza glutine, io sono celiaca e mi hanno fatto pollo, verdure e patatine per pranzo e per la colazione dei pancakes con miele, oltre a succhi, frutta, yogurt ecc Se vi trovate a Chang Rai consigliatissimo!

This is my second time at the hotel. I enjoy staying in the hotel. I used the laundry on the opposite of the hotel, 3 minutes walk. I found the location was in a walking distance to important touristy spots

The best hotel we've had in terms of comfort, facilities, bed, bathroom, staff, breakfast.... modern and well-thought out. An enormous VERY comfortable bed, storage space, view, pool. Easy to find and great for exploring the area - Golden Triangle, caves, mountains... such a comfortable, luxurious room. Great value. Sad to leave! You cannot go wrong with this choice. A treat!

Hôtel situé en campagne avec un accès facile et disposant d'un grand parking. Composé de chambre dans des petites habitations indépendantes. Style Thaïlandais avec une belle piscine et une salle de finesse à disposition. Les chambres sont simples et bien équipées. L'accueil est chaleureux et l'hôtel est très propre. We only stayed for 1 night before crossing over into Laos. The hotel totally surprised me. The staff were so helpful. The restaurant was really good and the views were stunning being right on the Mekong looking over into Laos. We stayed in a riverview room in the resort side of the hotel - the room was very nice, very clean and had everything we needed and the view from the balcony was amazing. I hope to come back to Chiang Khong and stay at the Teak Garden for a few days to really enjoy the hotel and the town.

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. The room was in poor condition with broken doors poorly patched up doors into the bathroom, safe not working and a bed that was as hard as lying on concrete. The view was great from the balcony across the Mekong but that was the only good thing about this hotel room. There were a few other guests staying there at the same time as us but they left early because the noise from functions in their function room downstairs was extreme, and went on night after night until the early hours, Then the participants were allowed to go into other areas of the lower floor to continue the drunken behaviors without any intervention from staff. The other privately booked patrons all left early because nothing was done to control these people. We were the only ones left. Breakfast was determined by the choices made by the function groups, and is not the buffet breakfast the claim to provide and is not the breakfast we paid for as they describe. If you really feel the need to stay at this place you would be better going for a short walk along the river and having breakfast elsewhere because the breakfasts offered were poor and most of it was cold. The hotel also is reported to have a restaurant. True it does but they will only offered us a choice of 3 dishes that is the same as the function is offering to their participants. We had our order taken from these 3 dish menu only to then sit there for nearly an hour waiting for the food. The order was taken by the restaurant manager, but he chose to go to another table and sit with the hotel manager and drink beer and eat a huge bowl of chips. We are not sure if the order was even given to the kitchen staff, and when we asked what was going on there was no explanation, we were just asked to wait another 15 minutes. When we complained again it was magically there in about 5 minutes. We found other places to eat after that. The pool and the free use of hotel bicycles were pluses. The pool was well shaded from the sun, was clean and refreshing. There are bike tracks right outside the hotel along the river which are flat and easy to ride. Very few of the staff had any English, which is fine considering its Thailand, but even when you translated to Thai for them they were not helpful (particularly the management). They were solely focused on the groups in the functions and we felt very much like inconveniences in their way. I normally don't give reviews for a bad hotel but this place was exceptionally uncomfortable and poorly managed. In short we would never stay at this hotel again and suggest anyone that is considering this hotel look at one of the many other hotels that are nearby, and be assured any on the riverfront the same views of the river, with often better rates for their rooms and restaurants where they value your patronage.

Namkhong resort is such a nice place, located next to the main road but quiet and peaceful atmospheres all-over the property. The room was really comfortable, completely made out of wood, big spaces and good patio. Toilets here were shared, clean and numerous. Just behind the wooden huts you will find a big swimming pool, that time was clean and just perfect!

John and Jam, the owners are great. Went out of their way to provide us a wonderful experience. Beautiful pool, wonderful views of Laos across the Mekong River. Excellent meals presented beautifully. Lots of bird sighting, marvelous sunrises. We will certainly visit again.
