Perfect hotel for exploring the Tianmen mountain, the cableway station is literally just crossing the street. Also perfect for going to the Zhangjiajie park, either south or east gate. The only thing they should improve is the quality of the western breakfast options, for a hotel like this one would expect better quality, but the overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Fenghuang. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful—they assisted with station transfers, helped book train tickets for my next destinations, and even took the time to explain the main tourist areas on a map, which I really appreciated. The hotel itself is clean and simple, making it a great choice for a short stay. It’s especially suitable for a one-night visit while exploring Fenghuang Ancient City. The location is excellent, right by the river with a beautiful river view, which adds a lot to the overall experience. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable stay with great service.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional from the very first moment. The welcome was impeccable, making me feel immediately comfortable and valued as a guest. Upon arrival, we were delighted to receive a basket of fresh fruit, which was a thoughtful and refreshing touch. The following day, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary breakfast. Everything was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of high-quality options. What made the experience even more special was the breathtaking view over the village, which created a perfect and relaxing atmosphere. I would also like to highlight the reception staff, who were extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help. Every one of my requests was met with efficiency and a smile, including assistance with laundry services. Overall, this hotel exceeded all expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Yunmei Bieyuan. The reception team was incredibly helpful even before we arrived and continued to assist us all the way through to check-out. They assisted us with booking tickets for the Zhangjiajie attractions in advance, which made everything much more convenient. Throughout our stay, we felt very well accommodated and the staff went out of their way to make things easy for us, even helping us arrange Didi rides to the attraction entrances. The location is also very convenient, with a bus stop just about a 5mins walk away, making it easy to commute from Wulingyuan. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience, and we truly appreciated the excellent service. Highly recommended!

I arrived late at night during the holidays, and the staff were incredibly warm and helpful. They provided excellent service and assisted us with our luggage right away. The hotel’s location is also fantastic and very convenient. Unfortunately, because we arrived so late, the only room available had a very strong smell of mold, and the air felt quite stale and not fresh. It was a disappointment given how great the service was. I highly recommend other travelers check in as early as possible to secure a better room.

Great hotel very close to Tianmen Mountain. The room was super clean and had plenty of amenities. They even upgraded my room, which was a nice surprise. They also offer free transport to Tianmen Mountain and a free airport pickup service, which made everything much easier. Highly recommended!

We are seasoned travellers. Having travelled to many parts of the world. We have both been to Chima before but mainly for work. I, had visited China on a vacation many, many years ago as a young man. So, this visit felt like we were visiting Chima for the very first time! Our plan was to visit the Zhangjiajie Forest National Par, 72 Wondertown and Tianmen Mountain. Wyndham Garden Hotel Tianmen Mountain hotel was first class. The staff were very helpful and always on hand to help. Though we did not encounter a fluent English speaking staff member, the use of Google Translate was more than enough to get by. Plus good old sign language! Breakfast: Is a buffet and is excellent! Lots to choose from but mainly catered towards an Asian cuisine. Location: Is excellent if visiting Tianmen Mountain. It is within walking distance (15-20min) to the Cable Car Chairlift up the mountain. 72 Wondertown is only a 15min Didi ride away. Zhangjiajie Forest National Park (Avatar Mountains) is approximately 40 to 50min car ride. So, one needs to plan for this. Which means an early start every day and can be tiring. Hotel Room: Is clean and tidy. We asked for non-smoking rooms and hot these. Rooms with a view of Tianmen Mountain were good but noisy. Particularly, if you have the window open during the night. All in all, we enjoyed our stay with Zhangjiajie Garden Tianmen Mountain hotel and we will definitely be back!

The resort is a little tricky to get to if you hire DiDi so make sure to utilize their free pickup service from airport or train station. They were very accommodating. We booked the hotel last min and they were able to arrange a driver to pick us up on the same day. Overall the stay was very comfortable and it’s located in a small village just steps away from one of the 5 entrances to the National Forest. We definitely enjoyed the small town feel. It was a nice trip to decompress after the lively, bright lights and bustling streets of Chongqing (which was also great!). The food they serve and free breakfast was very good. Will definitely stay here again when we revisit Zhangjiajie.

I was utterly fascinated by Manyuan hotel. First of all, the location is excellent, as you go on foot to the Zhangjiajie scenic area entrance, enjoying a wonderful stroll next to the river and trees. It is a quiet and central location. Regarding the service, all personnel one by one made sure I was satisfied with anything I needed. Very friendly and easy to communicate with, they organised my complete 4-day itinerary in advance, booking all attraction tickets so I had nothing to worry about. Every day they would explain the details of the next one, so everything was smooth and seamless. The room was delicate and spacious. The bed and pillows were extra comfortable. You could gaze laying down at the beautiful river view. They have a very fast and clean laundry service, as well as great room service. Travelling around China for one month and can easily say this hotel was the best gift I made to myself (along with the bungee jump at the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge 😁). Thank you for everything guys, hope I can stay there again someday.
