This hotel is not too near the hustle bustle of the ancient town which then provides some peace at night. But it’s also convenient as there’s eateries and convenient shops around. You will be walking around the ancient city anyway so the location of the hotel is okay. The only thing which we can complain is the wiring which goes right across the balcony view. So you would need to edit and remove the wires for the balcony view photos. Otherwise, it’s all good for this hotel. Do take advantage of the free 2-hours rental of the traditional costume.

Fortunately we were fetched from the train station by one of the staff of Baihe, as the vehicle can only enter till a certain point after which no cars are allowed in. So you will need to drag your luggage quite a distance on cobbled road to the hotel, which is in the ancient town. But with the help of hotel staff, we made it to the hotel. The view from our room captured the small waterfall and I managed to get a beautiful sunrise (photo 1). But the main waterfall is a good walk away from the hotel, maybe 30mins. The night lights r beautiful. The staff were very helpful to provide a map and route of how to get to the big waterfall. Breakfast was local, simple and sufficient. On the first night, the water heater did not work, but the hotel made arrangements for me to use the shower at their sister hotel about 10mins away. All in all, a pleasant stay. However, if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. The street noise and singing can last into the night.

The automatic facilities made our experience seamless and enjoyable—everything from check-in to room controls was high-tech and user-friendly. The spacious and clean rooms offered stunning views, and the breakfast buffet had a fantastic variety that catered to everyone. The kids loved the pool, and the staff was incredibly helpful with local recommendations. Overall, it was a great family getaway, and we can't wait to return!

I had a truly wonderful stay at Hampton by Hilton, Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Lucky from the breakfast team deserves special mention. She is warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. The breakfast itself was delicious, with a great variety of sumptuous options to start the day right. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, offering the perfect place to relax after exploring the area. What stood out most was the remarkable staff, who consistently went out of their way to make sure my friends and I had an unforgettable experience. Their thoughtfulness and genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie. It’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for, and I look forward to returning.

This hotel is located on the outskirts of Fenghang Ancient Town, but it's not far and offers a quieter, more peaceful environment. You can see the Tuojiang River right from your window. The breakfast is quite unique, served on a nine-compartment platter. The hotel thoughtfully provides drip coffee, which was a nice touch and tasted completely different and much better than the coffee at other hotels on my trip. They also offer shuttle service to and from the station, making arrival and departure very convenient.

This hotel is a true gem! Everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. The soundproofing in the room is excellent; you can't hear any outside noise, which made for a perfect night's sleep. The location is also very convenient, close to the bus station, making travel hassle-free. Both the service and the environment are top-notch. The butler-style service was particularly impressive. I've already recommended it to my colleagues!

Great service by the team - they respond very quickly on their WeChat system (requested for some toilet paper and they came knocking in 3 minutes!). The rooms are really clean, and they have really smart systems like heated mirrors and even a voice assistant. Almost felt like I was in a 5-star hotel. Their transport service to and from Wulingyuan park was also quick and efficient, arranged through WeChat too. Their front desk also gave us a map and guide of how to walk around Zhangjiajie park, which greatly helped us navigate our way through! Overall one of the best stays of my trip that farexceeded expectations for the price.

This is hands down the best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed at in Zhangjiajie. The facilities are complete, the environment is quiet, and it's spotlessly clean. The service attitude is excellent; they even deliver breakfast to your room. At night, being backed by the mountains means there's no car noise. The rooftop terrace offers a stunning view of the distant mountains, and waking up to that view is truly refreshing. The best part is the price – it's really affordable, making it incredible value for money. The owner even helps with discounted tickets and daily tour planning, which made my trip incredibly worry-free! I'll definitely be recommending this to all my friends.

The hotel I stayed at during my business trip was excellent in every way! The service was exemplary; the service manager communicated with me in advance about my needs, proactively upgraded my room upon check-in, assisted with luggage, and provided recommendations for nearby attractions online throughout. They responded instantly to any questions and even thoughtfully offered a welcome fruit platter. The facilities were comprehensive and practical; the smart devices in the room were easy to use, the mattress was soft and comfortable, the high-speed Wi-Fi was smooth, and the soundproofing was superb, so I didn't have to worry about disturbing friends during our get-together. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a wide variety of options, including local specialties, fresh fruits and vegetables, hot drinks, and desserts. The ingredients were fresh, tasted great, and the portions were generous and filling. Overall, it was excellent value for money—five stars!

The hotel's decor has a very unique style that immediately made me remember the 'Huanzhi' brand logo with the doll whose face has an X on it. The room decoration is lively with contrasting colors, which is visually pleasing. The front desk looks like a bar counter, and the lobby feels like it's decorated in a KTV style. As a cinema hotel, the room has a large projector screen with good projection quality, so watching movies in the room has been great during these rainy days.
