This guesthouse in Fenghuang Ancient Town is an amazing value! The location is superb, and the river-view room offers breathtaking scenery – open the window and you're greeted with the beautiful Tuojiang River. The night view is incredibly therapeutic. Tucked away in an alley of the ancient town, it's quiet and peaceful, yet super convenient for exploring Hongqiao Bridge and trying local delicacies. The room is well-equipped, and the cleanliness is impeccable. It was a fantastic experience overall!

I chose this hotel on Ctrip, and it's quite typical, having the advantages of a guesthouse with a few minor flaws. First off, its location is excellent, very convenient for getting around (though Furong Ancient Town isn't very big to begin with). My room opened into a small courtyard, and from the window, I had a panoramic view of the Youyang River and its scenery. The owner was also very kind, offering transfers to and from the high-speed rail station. Breakfast was a bit lacking (typical for guesthouses), but the minced pork noodles the auntie made were quite tasty. The air conditioning's heating worked well, though it was slow to start up. When you leave and pull the card, the power cuts off, so it takes a while for it to kick back in when you return, and it's a bit noisy. The shower's hot and cold water control wasn't very precise; a slight turn made it scalding, and a bit more made it cold. Overall, this guesthouse is very good. It's clean, and the room's bedding had no strange smells whatsoever. The facilities have a few minor imperfections, but they don't affect the overall stay experience. I would choose it again on my next visit.

Traveling with the whole family, including kids, the front desk kindly upgraded us to a family-friendly room for free. The room was spacious, cozy, and very clean, and the price was excellent. The front desk staff were very attentive and patiently explained the nearby attractions. Parking was super convenient with their own private lot. This is definitely a top choice for anyone traveling by car.

This is an excellent hotel! It's conveniently located with many restaurants nearby. The breakfast spread is amazing, and the service staff even brought us some homemade eight-treasure porridge. It was a very pleasant stay, truly feeling the warmth of Zhangjiajie. It's also right opposite the A line.

This hotel is conveniently located and peaceful, completely free from the hustle and bustle of the old town. For friends who want to quietly enjoy the Tuojiang River scenery, this is definitely the right choice. The most thoughtful service was the complimentary pickup or drop-off service, where you could choose one. You just needed to select the service type and fill in your arrival/departure time one day before check-in. Upon arrival, the driver called punctually, and the pick-up spot was easy to find, with the car not far away. There were also a few foreign guests with us, and the driver enthusiastically shared interesting stories about the old town throughout the journey, instantly making the travel fatigue disappear. Upon check-in, we received breakfast vouchers. The next day's breakfast selection was incredibly rich, with a wide variety of porridges, pastries, and side dishes. When the restaurant was full, we simply took our breakfast to the lounge area outside our room to enjoy. Eating breakfast with the river breeze blowing was incredibly pleasant. When I was carrying breakfast upstairs, a staff member even proactively helped me press the elevator button – such warm little details! Staying during the off-season, we hit the jackpot! The front desk noticed an empty room and kindly upgraded us to a larger room type for free. It was more spacious and had an even better view, which was a delightful surprise!

I would like to thank the entire hotel team who helped me a lot to plan my stay in 张家界。 The hotel helped me book my tickets to visit 天门山，张家界森林公园，张家界大峡谷。 They gave me very useful advice on interesting places to visit, transportation to use. For my part, I have often used the taxi to visit the sites (most are 30 minutes away by taxi, except for 张家界大峡谷 located an hour away by taxi) but you can take the bus as well. The hotel really corresponds to my expectations, the room benefitted from a view of the mountain. I also used the fairly well-equipped fitness room every day and the washing machines accessible at any time of the day. Breakfast from 6:30 a.m. is also quite rich. L'hôtel correspond à mes attentes, la chambre bénéficiait d'une vue sur la montagne. J'ai aussi utilisé tous les jours la salle de sport assez bien équipée et les machines à laver le linge accessibles à n'importe quel moment de la journée. Le petit-déjeuner dès 6h30 est aussi assez riche. En résumé, je suis pleinement satisfait de cet hôtel et je le recommande à tous les voyageurs en famille ou bien solitaires comme moi.

The pros: The hotel's scenic map is excellent, and the route recommended by the short-haired staff at the front desk was very reasonable. The bedding was also fantastic, super comfortable to sleep in. The location is great, right next to Baofeng Lake, and about a 15-minute taxi ride from Huanglong Cave. If it's foggy and unsuitable for going up the mountains, there are alternative attractions nearby. The cons: The hotel is a bit far from the East Gate of the Forest Park. While the hotel offers shuttle service, if you're primarily visiting the Forest Park and plan to eat mostly around the East Gate, staying at a hotel closer to the East Gate might be more convenient.

The B&B's location is quite close to the East Gate of the Forest Park, about a five or six-minute drive. The owners, a husband and wife, are very kind, warm, and attentive. Not only did they help us buy tickets, but they also explained the routes and even upgraded our room for free. There were also many international guests, and complimentary breakfast was provided. The area around the hotel is very quiet, making it ideal for sleeping at night. Our trip was very comfortable. The only minor drawback was the water heater – it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. If that could be improved, it would be even more perfect.

The Anfaliting Hotel is definitely worth experiencing. Its location is excellent, close to the city center with convenient transportation. The hotel even offers discount coupons for Didi Chuxing (a ride-hailing service). The decor is grand, with warm lighting and an elegant ambiance. Upon check-in, the receptionist recommended breakfast, which was plentiful and delicious, and the service was imperceptible. The rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive views, are spacious and bright, and the smart smart speaker allows you to control many devices with a simple voice command. The restaurant on the 5th floor offers à la carte lunch and dinner, and I even saw photos of many celebrities who have stayed there. If you're in Hengyang, this is the hotel for you!
