The best hotel I stayed in my trip! Location is perfect, 3-5mins walk to jr, bus terminal, and the resto味藏天國. The design is grand and classy, heat is sufficient. The outdoor onsen is not big but very very comfy. Room is large, clean and comfy, the best thing is about the washing machine and microwave! Never seen any in the hotels I stayed. Got netflix and youtube on TV. Great great value. I would definitely come back and stay in this hotel again!!

Location is superb, just right in front of JR and bus terminal. Room is well designed with comfortable space. The washing machine with dryer function worked really well, and saved the hassle to queue or monitor for laundry as each room has its own washer dryer. The private bathroom is also good for couples who want to try the onsen bath together.

The location is very good and staff is friendly and room is quite big to compare other place.

It is probably the most conveniently located hotel in Takayama, just right next to the Takayama JR train station and bus terminal. The room I stayed in has excellent view of the city, the train station and the surrounding mountains in the distance. As with most Japanese hotels, the room size is not large, but is comfortable enough for a couple or including a small child. There is even a washing machine and a microwave oven inside the room. The hotel staff are friendly and speak good English. Restaurant is on the 2nd floor, and there are also Onsen bath facilities. The restaurant does not serve lunch and dinner need reservation. There are restaurants near the old town area, which is about 10 to 15 minutes walking distance East of the hotel. The location of the hotel near to the JR station and bus terminal make it an excellent base station to explore the nearby tourist locations like Shirakawa and other places for day-trip visits. It is also easily accessible from Nagoya, which is just 2.5 hours away by local trains. Shirakawa-go is 50 minutes away by local bus from the bus terminal beside the train station. The Takayama park (South East of old town area) is definitely worth exploring especially during the autumn when the fall foliage is really spectacular.

The hotel is next to the JR Takayama station, very convenient and nice place. I will book the hotel again definitely if I come. Provided in-room washing machine and onsen are excellent!! I enjoyed a lot for my stay 4 days. Breakfast buffet was good.

Hotel is totally beside the railway station. Hotel room and public bath areas very clean. Counter staff very friendly and reachable.

Location - extremely convenient that just 2 mins walk from the JR station / Bus terminal. Decoration - full of local culture and artistic traditions of Hida.

Location is next to the Takayama Station. Breakfast spread is impressive. It also has an onset facility - which is great!
