Cuando me retiraba entregue las llaves de la habitación 09, me dijeron que checarían el interior de la habitación y si podía esperar, a lo que accedí y tomé asiento. Posteriormente una señorita del turno matutino, me dijo que hacía falta un tapete de baño y que si podían revisar mi maleta, a lo cual al principio si me molestó porque sé que no llevaba nada. Revisaron mi maleta ella y un encargado de la limpieza, no conformes de ver qué no había nada en mi mochila insistían que regresara el tapete. A lo cual ya tuve que exaltarme y decirles que no tenía ningún tapete, aún así el de limpieza intento abrir un cierre donde solo entran identificaciones y dinero, fue donde le dije que no se les ocurriera abrir ahí, porque llevaba mi dinero solamente. Posteriormente, solo me dijo una persona de sexo masculino, que se encontraba en recepción que me retirara. La verdad muy muy molesto les dije que era última vez que me hospedo ahí. Se me hace de mal gusto, que me incriminen de esa forma y frente a todos en el lobby; ya que deberían tener protocolos para hacerlo, no de esta forma tan denigrante y prepotente, ya que solo demuestran la ineptitud de su personal y falta de profesionalismo.

I had a very pleasant experience in Tapachula and would recommend it for a friendly getaway for couples. The hotel San Francisco was clean and comfortable. The restaurant has a limited menu but food was good.

A decent, centrally-located hotel with spacious rooms. However, there were many little things that added up to a negative experience for me and I won't stay here again. PROS Pool, air conditioning, very close to central park (Parque Miguel Hidalgo), good pillows, big rooms, restaurant on-site CONS The pool was full of screaming kids most of the time. The first room they put me in was 103 and the door opened directly onto the pool. The noise was atrocious so on my second day I asked to be moved to a quieter room, which the staff did quickly and with many apologies. They put me on the third floor, room 301, but because the pool is in an open-air section in the center of the hotel, the noise echoed all over the property. Quieter, but definitely not tranquil. The bed gave me a back ache. It only had one sheet and a very thin plasticky coverlet. The air conditioning had two settings -- FULL blast or off. So I either froze or roasted. The shower couldn't maintain a steady temperature. Towels were scratchy. No hand towel. There was no bottled water in the room and no agua pura dispenser in the lobby. This is something I've seen often at other hotels in Mexico and I missed having access to drinking water. There is an OXXO convenience store only steps away though. STAIRS -- this hotel is not mobility-friendly. There is a big set of stairs even to get to reception. Avoid if you have knee problems. Summary: there are better hotels in the same area. Skip this one unless you have kids and want a pool for them.

Un Hotel en un edificio alto y con bonito diseño, excelente ubicación Justo en el centro histórico, muy cerca de todo (taxis colectivos a Puerto Madero o al Aeropuerto a media cuadra, taxis colectivos a Tuxtla Chico a 3 cuadras, Parque Central a cuadra y media, tiendas, restaurantes). Mi habitación estupenda, todo limpio y ordenado, y destacó la atención de recepción en todas mis inquietudes (muy precisos en todo). El hotel tiene todo para ser un súper hotel, pero sí reconozco la falta de mantenimiento en áreas comunes, el elevador descompuesto, el estado de la alfombra en las escaleras (muy destruída y sucia), la alberca un poco incómoda y descuidada, no invita a nadar. Aunque mi experiencia fue buena y el precio diario, ni se diga.

PPengguna TetamuEn general estuvo bien, pero si hay cosas a mejorar. No nos dejaron ninguna toalla el primer día, el segundo no dejaron la de pies. La capacidad de espacio para desayuno en algunos horarios no es suficiente. El extractor de vapor del baño no sirve.
Son cosas que no he tenido problema en otras ocasiones y ahora si.

PPengguna TetamuTuve una buena experiencia en este hotel hace un año por lo que decidí volver este mes. Fue la peor decisión, convirtieron el hotel en un lugar desagradable lleno de extranjeros con poca higiene quienes se mantienen en la entrada y en el loby del hotel sin cubrebocas, fumando y sin zapatos , Subiendo los pies en las mesas y sillones en donde uno “toma el desayuno” . Los protocolos contra el COVID no existen en este hotel y esos hombres me hicieron sentir insegura todo el tiempo con sus miradas y sus actos . Para cerrar con broche de oro , llaman damas de compañía por las noches para obtener servicios dentro del hotel (inaceptable) !! Y la habitaciones ni como rescatarlas , Las sábanas tenían manchas amarillas dudo mucho que hagan una correcta limpieza y los huéspedes de al lado se encargan de azotar las puertas todo el tiempo. El desayuno pésimo , dice ser buffet pero en realidad no lo es y deja mucho que desear . Todo fue espantoso y lo peor es que al personal esto le parece totalmente normal , sali enferma de este lugar! Mucho OJO.

PPengguna TetamuI use to be a regular guest of this hotel. At least 3 times a year I did stay there with my family, In October last year I stay for 4 days. Left my 600 dollars watch in the room and as soon I check the GPS in it I call the manager of the hotel to keep it safe until I could send for it, There was no doubt I left it in the room. The manager told me that she will call in a few hours to let me know if housekeeping found it or not. She never calls me back so I call the following day. But that time the GPS on my watch was turned off. So when the manager finally answer my call told me that the watch was not in the room. Is very sad that a hotel is willing to lose a customer over a watch that obviously was stolen for a staff member bat what is even worst is that the hotel manager doesn't care.
