Our short one day visit at Svatma Tanjore was excellent, filled with memorable experiences and definitely recommended for any traveller finding a relaxing getaway at a refined hotel. From the moment we entered Svatma, we were made to feel special and welcoming by the staff .Their smile, attention and warmth made our day. The Heritage property exhudes serenity and is well kept and breathtaking with majestic paintings adorning the walls The pool is hygienically maintained and can boast of clear pristine water. The rooms were tidy, clean and sufficient amenities were provided, although the washroom was slightly smaller than expected from a 5 star hotel. Special shout-out goes to the restaurant at Svatma (Aahram), which electrified our culinary experience for lunch, dinner and breakfast thoroughly. Thanks to Mr.Muthukumaran ( restaurant Supervisor) , who was proficient and knowledgeable about anything on cuisine.He made sure that we were served what we asked for , adding more to our taste buds.The chefs were equally cooperative and enthusiastic to serve the special dishes( local South Indian) that we hankered for a long time. They have a Spa too worth a try with special packages though we missed it out. We thoroughly recommend Svatma to anyone looking to stay at a lovely hospitable getaway in the great city of Thanjavur.

I recently stayed at Svatma, a top-notch antique resort close to the Big Temple. They offer free yoga classes, and I was thrilled to join. It was incredibly calming and refreshing for both my mind and body, which was my favorite part of the stay. Plus, they serve delicious vegetarian food, and the rooms have a unique ancient vibe. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Svatma was a nice place to stay! From the moment I stepped in, everything was exquisite – the kind of place that makes you go "wow." But here's the thing that surprised me: the food. Being a vegetarian hotel, I wasn't sure what to expect. Let me tell you, it was incredible!

I felt like Svatma was a relaxing escape from the busy world. The place was calm and peaceful, and the staff was super friendly. The room was spotless. We had one of the soothing spa treatments at Svatma. We highly recommend Svatma for a relaxing getaway.

The property was fantastic. The maintenance, food and the surrounding area was clean. The view was breathtaking. It was luxurious. Every service was provided on time. I'm looking forward to go on another vacation there. Definitely the best luxury space to spend a vacation.

This is our fourth visit to svatma. As usual ,we enjoyed our stay and was a royal one ! The food is awesome too. Thanks to mr.balaji and team for continuing the exemplary service.we look forward for more such stays.

The heritage hotel exceeded all our expectations. Its serene atmosphere is pure bliss, ideal for tranquility seekers. Our experience was outstanding. Mr. Muthukumaran, the Manager, and the staff were exceptionally courteous and always ready to assist.

Hotel looks fabulous - but staff were disorganised - pushy with spa appointments, very limited alcohol selection - no white wine! The staff were also keen on us pre-ordering our evening meal - which was a disjointed badly organised affair. No one ate at the same time with a long wait for some. Check out the next morning took forever - only one key card per room. 100% pure veg so no meat or eggs etc.
