I was staying one night in Golden Star Hotel. I chose the Hotel because I had early flight in the morning and Hotel was 15minutes taxi drive from Thessaloniki airport and also near to sea. Hotel Staff was very friendly, rooms were modern and clean, air conditioner worked fine. Room was quite small but it didn’t Bother much because I was staying alone in the room. Lounge Bar downstairs and Beach Bar was very nice and comfortable. Hotel has own beach which is quite small though. Near to Hotel There was many restaurants and tourist souveniers shops. Overall Experience was Good.

This seaside hotel is situated by the blue-flag Galaxias beach,19 km from Thessaloniki and 9 km from Macedonia Airport between the Neoi Epivates and Agia Triada villages. All of the Santa Beach Hotel’s fully renovated rooms and suites feature private balcony with superb views. Each is air-conditioned and offers a satellite TV, minibar and safe. Non-smoking and disabled-friendly rooms are available upon request. There is also an outdoor swimming pool with a pool-side snack bar, the Kassiopeia wine lounge with a full service bar and the Andromeda gourmet restaurant that serves Mediterranean and Greek specialities and features spectacular views of the sea. The hotel houses an extensive business and conference centre which includes secretarial services and internet access as well as indoor and outdoor banqueting facilities for up to 400 people. Santa Beach Hotel is well located, providing plenty of opportunities for visiting the cinema, entertainment parks and nightlife spots, exploring the wine routes of Northern Greece, shopping and driving to Holy Mount Athos or Chalkidiki’s beaches.

I recently stayed at the Sun Beach Hotel in Agia Triada with my husband and our 5-year-old daughter, and our experience was quite mixed. Rooms and Amenities: The hotel is housed in an old building, and it shows in the condition of the rooms and furniture. The room we stayed in had outdated and worn-out furniture, including a very old and dusty carpet. The curtains were also dusty, which is unacceptable for a hotel. The balcony was concerning as the fence moved with every touch, making it feel unsafe. There was no kettle in the room, which I found to be an inconvenience. A small fridge was provided in the room, tucked inside a piece of furniture. While it was handy to have, the fridge was quite noisy, and the constant hum made it difficult to sleep properly. One particularly unsettling aspect of our room was the door in the middle that connected to the adjacent room. It seemed to offer little soundproofing, as we could clearly hear the conversations of the people next door. This was especially unnerving at night, and it made us feel less secure and disturbed our sleep. The beds were okay, with one separate bed and two twin beds, and the mattresses were decent. However, the central air conditioning system was not functioning properly, causing issues in the hallway and at the reception area. Key Card and Door Issues: When we arrived, the key card for our room didn’t work, so we were given a regular key instead. Unfortunately, the door was extremely difficult to open, even showing marks from previous struggles to push it open. This added unnecessary frustration to our stay and made entering our room a hassle. Cleanliness and Hygiene: The hotel operates a policy of changing towels only upon request, which is environmentally friendly and reduces excessive detergent use, so I appreciated that aspect. However, the overall cleanliness of the hotel was disappointing. The pool was overcrowded, and it was clear that hygiene standards were not being enforced. I observed people with visible fungal infections on their nails being allowed into the pool, which was quite disturbing. Despite the pool area looking nice at first glance, this lack of care for hygiene was a major drawback. Service: The service at the reception was another low point of my stay. We had express check-in, but the staff did not respect the check-in hours of 14:00, nor did they honor the express check-in service. The receptionists were rude and unhelpful, which left a bad impression right at the start of my stay. Breakfast: The breakfast was decent, with a buffet offering a variety of options that could cater to most tastes. However, a significant inconvenience was the lack of ingredient labels on the buffet items. This was particularly problematic for my daughter, who has dietary restrictions. It made navigating the buffet more challenging, and I would strongly recommend the hotel address this issue for the sake of guests with food allergies or special dietary needs. Bathroom: The

Fuyez ! L'hôtel se dit être un 5 étoiles mais on est loin du compte. Le client n'est pas du tout considéré comme tel. Quand on est arrivé avec nos valises vers 16h, il y avait une réunion du personnel à la réception. On avait l'impression de déranger jusqu'à ce qu'une réceptionniste nous demande nos passeports et nous donne la clé de la chambre après plusieurs minutes d'attente. Elle a tenté de nous expliquer mais la réunion d'équipe ne nous permettait pas de nous entendre. La salle de bain était bouchée. Nous avons prévenu la réception à deux reprises. Les réceptionnistes ont pris notre numéro de chambre sur un post it les 2 fois mais rien ne nous a été proposé et nous avons dû prendre nos douches en fermant l'eau plusieurs fois pour permettre que l'eau parte petit à petit. Il y avait aussi des fuites d'eau hors de la douche Les lits sont des lits jumeaux donc si vous êtes un couple, vous êtes contraints de dormir séparément. Le petit déjeuner est industriel et au bout de 2 jours nous n'avions plus envie de manger à l'hôtel. Nous avons aussi demandé une brosse à dents à la réception mais il n'y en avait pas. En bref il n'y a pas de service clients. Le personnel sauf les femmes de ménage ne sont pas grecs. L'hôtel est russe. La froideur s'est fait très bien fait sentir. Heureusement que la vie locale et les restaurants à 1km de l'hôtel sont eux des locaux. On a pu retrouver des plats avec des produits frais et la chaleur et gentillesse des grecs. C'est ce qui a rendu notre séjour agréable. S'il n'y avait que l'hôtel et son personnel nous serions partis dès le 1er soir. La plage est payante et il y avait un chien errant sur cette même plage et dans l'enceinte de l'hôtel au niveau de la piscine. Clientele essentiellement de la Serbie, Roumanie, Russie. En résumé pas de service client et hôtel bon marché

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Staff warm and friendly rooms bedding and towels super clean. No breakfast as too late in the season but coffee shops a minute walk away. Less than twenty steps to the beach with lots of tavernas and small shops. If I could make a suggestion it would be nice to have a kettle in the room with some cups to make a hot drink. We only stayed one night so we will return to spend more time at Avra Hotel and enjoy the super beachfront restaurants and bars. Thank you to the staff for your kindness.
