First of all, I really want to praise the owner. He was incredibly dedicated and responsible, and we were deeply moved. We stayed for three days, and on the last day we were going to do the pilgrimage around Mount Kailash. We overestimated ourselves, thinking we could finish the pilgrimage in one day. However, we didn't reach Zhire Monastery until 6:00 PM. Then, at noon, we contacted the owner to say we couldn't come down that day and asked if he could pack our things, cancel our reservation, and let us stay there after we finished the pilgrimage. I was amazed by the owner's generosity. He said it was no problem, it's the off-season, and he understood we couldn't finish the pilgrimage in one day, so he reserved the room for us. I was truly touched. However, due to our physical condition, we eventually had to call a rescue vehicle to come down; there was no way to rest on the mountain. This hotel is very clean and hygienic. The bathrooms have separate shower and toilet areas, which was very satisfying for us, as we are from the south. Oxygen cylinders are also available for rent in the hotel lobby. The parking lot is also very convenient. Our travel companions stayed at other hotels, but we ended up staying here because the cleanliness was excellent, the toiletries were comprehensive, the hairdryer was very good, and there was underfloor heating and an oxygen machine. I still wouldn't recommend staying in those teahouse-style accommodations.

This homestay really exceeded expectations, the decoration style is elegant and beautiful, the facilities are complete, and the bedding is soft and sleeps particularly peaceful. Very satisfied with everything, the best is the customer service, always answer all questions. Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen. There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning. Everything was cured by the warm customer service.

This hotel has a strong ******* style, and the owner was really great, taking good care of us visitors from inland China. They helped us with our luggage and arranged for us to stay on the third floor, which definitely made the altitude sickness worse when climbing the stairs! We visited in August, and the blankets were super thick, so I didn't get a good night's sleep either night. Also, I personally think this type of Tibetan-style hotel is nice for a two-day experience, but not suitable for a long-term stay!

This is a great guesthouse. The rooms are clean and simple, the owner is warm and chatty, the decor has a ******* style, the price is affordable, and the location is excellent. You're right by Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street, with plenty of dining and shopping options. The only minor inconvenience is that cars can't pull up directly to the guesthouse entrance.
