Ulasan JI Hotel (Tianjin Gulou)

Honestly, this is the worst-insulated All Seasons hotel I've ever stayed in across the country. During the day, the view outside the window was decent. But at night, I could clearly hear the conversation from next door. There was also a lot of clanging and banging from outside the door. If you're on vacation, it might be okay. But we had an exam the next day and didn't get any good sleep, which was really frustrating 😓

Great location, not far from Ancient Culture Street and Wudadao (Five Avenues). However, the breakfast was not good. The sauce for the Guobacai (fried dough with gravy) was too salty, so salty it could turn you into a 'Yanbahur' (a local term for someone who looks distressed or disheveled from saltiness). Also, the hotel staff seemed unfamiliar with the items included in the set meal.

I've stayed at many JI Hotels, but this one was by far the worst. There were three main issues: First, the hotel's facilities are outdated. For a hotel with over 50 rooms per floor, there are only two tiny elevators. Each elevator can barely fit 10 people at full capacity, let alone with luggage and strollers. Half the time, a delivery robot takes up half the space. During peak hours, be prepared to wait endlessly for an elevator. The breakfast restaurant's capacity is also insufficient; this is the first time I've ever had to queue for a table at breakfast. I understand that if the occupancy rate is usually low, they might not need as many facilities, but during holiday peaks, it simply can't cope. Second, several rooms next door seemed to be occupied by families with children who knew each other. They'd leave their doors open and chat loudly past 10 PM, with children making a ruckus. I called the front desk, and they said they'd come up to address it, but whether they did or not, it had no effect. I guess 3-5 year olds just have too much energy, and their parents simply don't care. Third, being close to the bar street, rooms on one side experience loud thumping music after 11 PM. So, for those who struggle with sleep, good luck! All in all, it was a rather unpleasant experience. From now on, I won't blindly choose JI Hotels; I'll definitely do more research beforehand.

I stayed on the lower level after my Jinan trip, this time the room was not cleaned properly. Spotted urine stains on the toilet seat and below. Although it was attended to but feel uncomfortable.

Great location. However, there was a noticeable smoking smell in the corridor, which was a bit unpleasant and affected the overall experience.

I used to have a great impression of Quanjiying Hotel, but this time I'm a bit disappointed. The soundproofing in the room is really poor; I could clearly hear noises from the hallway and the room next door. When the door of the adjacent room closed, my own room's door would even vibrate. The TV signal was also bad, and there was an unpleasant odor in the bathroom. On the positive side, the hotel's location is good, with convenient transportation and easy parking.

The only problem is the AC only blows hot air. The room has no window. So at night can be stuffy. Apart from the above, I love the hotel.

I likes to stay at Ji Hotel. Because worth for money. Room very big. Location also good. Breakfast got more choice.

My room was clean and the shower was great. The sink was large too. Hotel is well located and is perfect for one night stay!
