Indian Residency

Very good accommodation facilities. We stayed twice this year. Rooms are neat and clean and quiet spacious. Amenities provided were good. Hospitality is excellent. Breakfast provided was good. Walkable distance from Sri Temple. Value for the money charged.

Indian Residency is a family run Bread and Breakfast. The rooms are pretty big, the Toilets are clean and they also have a washing machine for the guests. They also provide taxi service to the guests. The family members also greet you with a smile. The breakfast is fresh and tasty. The location is great, a little distant from the temple but you'll readily get autos. Highly recommend.

an outstanding bed&breakfast experience. beautifully built (I liked the antique kerala look with the verandahs), spacious and very well-appointed and comfortable rooms, and very good breakfast. our party booked one 2-bedroom and one 3-bedroom unit. and having a lift made getting around easy. the owner, srimati padmini, was very good to interact with, and it was nice having her and her daughter serve us home-made breakfast of idli and pongal because we were there during the Pongal festival and the staff were on leave. this homestay with only 5 units was built to cater not only to indian tourists to the great temple, but also to foreign tourists, because the owner runs a travel agency and can organize cars, tours, etc for you (we drove our own car, and there was parking right next door). you do have to drive to the Ranganathaswamy temple, as it's about a km away. we also visited the Rock Fort temple at dawn, and that's a short trip too. we only stayed one night, but it was the best accommodation in our temple trip to trichy, thanjavur and chidambaram. highly recommended, worth the slightly higher price.

I stayed here for 2 nights in December 2023. The hotel was extremely clean. The bathroom was also very clean. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was simple but very delicious especially the Dosa. Kudus to Mrs. Padmini, the owner.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, big bathroom well equipped with everything as well as toiletries. The property is located in a quiet green area, every morning you will be delighted by local fresh breakfast. Padmini is such a warm friendly host, amazing experience!

Our entire trip from Trichy to madurai was very well organised by Padmini madam of South India tours and travels. Meenakshi Temple, Srirangam Temple Chola temples and Chettinad mansions must be visited! Breathtaking architecture!!!

My husband and I felt right at home. The host arranged transportation for the trip, which included pickup from the airport. Our driver was excellent - very friendly and considerate. The area around the home stay seems to be developing, with many large construction projects. But the area was so quiet and peaceful, especially during our early morning walks. Breakfast was provided every morning, and we were completely full after the meal. The room had A/C which was welcomed after long days visiting temples. There is an amazing temple that is walkable and came recommended by our host. We loved our time here.

Clean and neat hotel, good service, courteous staff. It is a little far away from the market area, so anything you want, you have to use a vehicle even to visit any eating joints, as there are none nearby .

During our stay we were treated very nicely and were very hospitable as if they were hosting family. The owners were very helpful in helping with our requests. The food was very nice, like eating a home cooked meal.
