Terrific newish hotel in the top 4 floors of an office building. About 320 t0 30 minute walk to Shibuya, Ginza or Harajuku or 2 minutes to the metro station. The metro is easy to use as instructions are in a lot of lanuages and you can pay with coins, notes or cards. We paid a little extra and were in a larger corner room with 180 degree views. Free generous minibar refilled each day. Staff were tops. There is a Japanese restaurant on the second floor which is independent of the notel. Excellent and fair prices. Breakfast was part of our package and it well above average. If you have bags or cant handle stairs ask the taxi to go into the basement from where you access the hotel with ease Tokyo is not cheap but I will certainly be back here

Stayed 5 nights in a junior suite. Was concerned given previous reviews but they were far from the truth. Very large and comfortable accomodation, top class service, and prime location at a very reasonable price. It was heaps better than the Airbnb we got last year at a similar price.

Just finished a two-night stay. Very bad experience. Won’t come back for future stay. 1. Location is 10-15 minutes walk from Shibuya Station, and main entrance as shown on google map is up-hill, so quite hard to get to with luggages. Uber also doesn’t have the right entrance info for the hotel for either of the two entrance, and it is very confusing why the hotel didn’t fix these. 2. Room size very very small. I am used to small hotels in Japan (and Paris etc.), but this is pathetically tiny even for a single travel without large bags. 3. The pictures on website for standard room are misleading, actual room much much smaller. When I pointed out the difference to front desk staff, they acknowledged the differences but still demanded a fee for changing the room to what’s shown on the picture as the category I booked. 4. Upon check in, I was informed that non alcoholic beverages are complimentary, but the story changed when checking out, only water and tea bags are free, they posted a bill for coke. Not a big deal, but so much miscommunication and training issue. 5. I wanted to store my luggage for two days, but was refused. They don’t allow luggage storage unless I make a booking for a next stay - a very rare request in my experiences.

Great hotel in central location. Rooms are big and comfortable for Tokyo standard and it’s a short walk to central shibuya crossing and JR line. Hotel breakfast was good and service by staff were very friendly. Big plus for those who are planning to ride a airport bus, the hotel is a stop for drop off and pick up.

The Grand Hyatt is a quality hotel in a premium location. Great access to the metro and the best parts of Tokyo. Plenty of food options near by and walkable to Aoyama and Omotosando, the best areas in Tokyo (in my opinion). The hotel is clean, well maintained and managed. The food options are decent, but the breakfast options aren’t great. The club lounge breakfast is below average. It has a strong smell of fish from the Japanese breakfast dishes, and there are no eggs available. I’d look elsewhere for breakfast and wouldn’t put any value in this if that is a consideration to upgrading to club lounge. PROS: Quality rooms with nice wood upgrades and a very nice rainfall shower with strong water pressure. Rooms are a decent size for Tokyo. Service is very professional Location is ideal CONS: Dated rooms. TV’s are from about 1995, and the rooms are probably 10 years past due a remodel. With that said, they are quality rooms which do date better. Club Lounge breakfast isn’t great. No eggs, strong fish smell. Mattresses are hard and older, so not level. Globalist status did zero for me at the hotel. No upgrades, not even a higher floor as requested. Not a place to come if status upgrades are important to you. While I understand that a full hotel means no upgrades, it’s still possible to get a higher floor, which was requested but not granted. Overall I would say for the value this is your best Hyatt option in Tokyo given the service, quality, and location versus price.

The location need walk 7 to 10 mins from train station, but there is family mart and shopping mall and donki on the way, so its ok. Also very close to 2 5star restaurant we booked so still good. The hotspring after service is interesting and so good that will provide one ice cream per people every night. Also have free ramen before 11pm. The overall experience is veryvery good.

What a gem of a hotel….seriously! This boutique hotel is gorgeous. Beautiful decor, a very cool, bustling lobby with coffee/bar & boutique & staff who really were the icing on the cake. The staff were so friendly & extremely accommodating to our family. The hotel is located in an amazing location in Shibuya …close enough to cat st for cool shopping & there were a plethora of amazing eating options at your doorstep. Notable places: Streamer (the BEST coffee around…not to mention their red velvet cheesecake brownie) , SHIbuichi bakery for delicious hot out of the oven breakfast bagels, croissants, kaarage chocken sandwiches & baked goods. For dinner do not miss Kushi just by the hotel entrance. Delicious rice dishes, yakitori & curry-they also do a deal offering a free glass of wine to hotel guests with your order. Menchirashi udon noodles ALWAYS had a queue & Yai Yai okonomiyaki was delicious. Do not miss The Little bakery Tokyo for the most delicious gourmet cakes, sandwiches & baked goods around. A big shout out to Yukiya for making our stay super special…& going above & beyond to make our stay so memorable 🙌🏻

It is my 2nd time in this hotel. First stay was back in 2020 and our family chose this hotel this time in 2023 because it's so dang perfect. The rooms are not tiny as how other Japan hotels are. We booked a room for 3pax and each of us had 1 single bed each. The toilet has a tub as well and staff are cleaning the room every single day, replacing all toiletries as well. The location is just near the shibuya crossing, about 500m walk (up hill) but it's just super near the mega donki. The hotel reception also allows guests to leave their luggage in the lobby even after check out which saves you a lot from having to rent coin lockers. I would definitely stay here again next time!

It’s a very nice location at Aoyama, you can easily find metro station, restaurants, supermarket, family mart and pharmacy. The room is tiny but the facilities are nice. The only issue is the wifi, not stable, I got disconnection multiple times. Nice choice for 1 or 2 nights.

Would highly recommend this hotel! As mentioned by others, it's so near Shibuya,right in the middle of things but an oasis of calm.On returning each night it felt like we were coming home! Room was as expected, compact , and could have done with hooks on the back of the door due to.limited space.However, we don't go on holiday to stay in the room so it was fine.Clean and had an amazing Japanese toilet!! Reception was a very relaxed but helpful.affair.Really helped us in sending our luggage onto the next destination. The real draw of thd hotel though is thd social spaces. Lovely coffee bar and craft beer bar which seemed to.be used by locals and tourists alike. Also ate at the pizza place upstairs which was a tad expensive but very welcome on a rainy night! Staff were all lovely and a great introduction to Tokyo.Arrigato !

This place is fantastic. It’s extremely clean and looks luxury. The bed was super comfortable, I did not feel claustrophobic at all because the area you get is pretty big with a big bed and a high ceiling so you don’t feel you are in a capsule hotel. They have a very nice work room and also a lounge. The staff were fantastic and helpful. The location is central. when I travel I usually stay at four or five star hotels, but during the cherry Blossom season all the luxury hotels were sold out or they were ridiculously expensive like three or four times the regular price. This is the first time I stayed in a castle hotel, and it just did not felt like being in a hustle because it was so luxury and clean . It’s five minutes walking to the station. I stay three nights in the Shibuya and 4 in Kyoto location and they both were amazing. I will consider staying here again whenever I visit Japan .

Nicely distanced from the noise of traffic and trains, and a 5 minute walk from the start of busy Shibuya, this hotel is a good location. The hotel lobby is representative of the hotel; kitsch and full of chintzy decor. A real touch of 70’s nostalgia but clean and efficient. Checking in was simple and extra additions for your stay were offered and freely available. In keeping with the decor the rooms are opened with keys which you hand in when leaving and collect upon return. The room was fine, a little small, but this is the norm in a busy city and at a fair price. Everything needed was in the room, my only disappoin**ent was the pillows- one small cushion shaped pillow only. A great stay if you’re using the hotel as a base, and a lovely cafe/restaurant attached.

很好的酒店，以後有機會再去住。 前台的視野很好，可以俯瞰旁邊的明治神宮棒球場，入住的幾天裏剛好有棒球賽，雖然我不懂規則，但是氣氛還不錯。 酒店一樓裏面就有羅森，經常在裏面買盒裝蘋果汁喝，蘋果汁相當好評。 酒店裡有公共大浴場，早一點或者稍微晚一點去都沒什麼人，泡的很舒服。氣泡池尤其喜歡，感覺疲憊都消除了。

We enjoyed our three night stay at the Shibuya Creston Hotel. We arrived early prior to our designated check in time and the front desk were kind to keep our baggage in their possession. Upon our return, our bags were ready in our assigned room. Check in was very prompt and all staff were courteous and polite with first class Japanese hospitality. Please note it is common for hotels to ask for and take a photocopy of your passports during registration. Note that the property will also collect a city tax upon arrival, so do not be alarmed of this small added cost. Location is amazing and is a perfect walking distance to all of the hotspots in Shibuya as well as the train terminal. As a security measure, the front desk control all keys (physical metal lock manual type) and cross reference your name to the room. We found it simple and convenient as it does not require us to lug around keys as well as it employs an added measure of security. Room was generally clean overall; despite not being renovated to modern standard, we could tell they showed great effort and professionalism in keeping good order. We stayed at multiple hotels during our visit to Japan, and we can tell the difference between old and clean versus old and dirty. The room includes disposable slippers, use of nightwear, bidet with heated seat and complimentary bottled waters for each night of our stay. Despite the drawbacks of being a dated hotel and smaller room, we felt it was tremendous value for the Shibuya area if location is important, the room rate is fair for the area and staff were exceptional. On our Japan trip, we spent most of our days sightseeing and little time in the room, so this was a perfect spot for us to rest for the next day of adventures. La localisation est pratique pour visiter Tokyo cependant il s’agit d’un étage d’un vieil immeuble aménagé avec des chambres. Pas d’accueil physique, pas de réception donc pas de service en cas de besoin, pas possible de laisser ces bagages avant ou après le check out par exemple. L’espace cuisine à partager est minimaliste et sur une très petite surface dans le couloir. Le point le plus négatif est que le tarif est au moins aussi cher si ce n’est plus que pour un hôtel confortable avec tous les services. L’endroit peu dépanner si les hôtels dans le coin sont pleins mais sinon il est, il me semble, facile de trouver mieux.
