DORMY INN GLOBAL CABIN ASAKUSA Dormy Inn Asakusa is a hotel located along the Sumida River where you can stay at a reasonable price with a great view. From the rooftop public bath on the 10th floor and the footbath, you can enjoy a memorable view of Tokyo such as the Tokyo Sky Tree on the opposite bank. Hotel was centrally located, if you want to be in the asakusa, ueno, akihabara areas, very near subway, 3-5 mins walk, close to temples, restaurants and shopping in asakusa, hotel rooms were small which is a standard when in japan, but was clean and came with toiletries, they have luggage storage too and a lift, and view of the sky tree in some rooms, only con is the staff, not friendly or helpful, and they do not greet guests upon arrival, specially the lady at reception on morning shift, overall would stay here again when in tokyo.

A classic older hotel in a great location in the NE of Tokyo. We stayed there decades ago and wanted to return. We booked a bigger room on an upper floor and loved the views. It’s a huge hotel with minimal service. We missed feeling “taken care of”. It felt more like we were just processed in and out. Also, as an older hotel, there is little control over the temperature in your room. Either the whole hotel has heat or it has air conditioning. In the shoulder seasons where you may need heat one day and AC the next, your room can become uncomfortable. Our room faced east. The morning sun made our room unbearably hot until the sun moved. But the views made our stay memorable. FYI, rooms facing East have great views of the Tokyo Tower. Rooms facing west may get a view of Mount Fuji if the weather cooperates.

Upon arrival, check in was a breeze. You scan your QR Code then speak to a representative on the provided iPad via Skype. Once the agent confirm you, you get your key codes for your room. The rooms provided everything we needed (Family of 4. My husband, 18 yr old son, 12 yr old daughter, and myself.) Refridge w/ freezer portion, sink, pots/ pans/ dishes/ utensils, stove top, kettle, microwave and Toaster oven. A table, couch, and Murphy bed which is pretty awesome, and 2 twin beds put together (it’s the equivalent size of a king. My daughter fell asleep on it, and all three of us was able sleep comfortably.) I appreciate the toilet room and the shower / bath room being separated. There is also a washer/ dryer machine in one. Room also comes w/ tv, safe, drawers, under the bed storage (this is where we kept our backpacks and purchases.) Lots of plugs. (They do not have 3 prong plugs, only 2.) Although it’s a “Studio” like room, the lighting is efficient (there are lights over the bed area, kitchen, dining area. This is great if you wake up 3-4a and don’t want to bother the others sleeping lol.) AC gets cold. You are very close to 7-11 and family mart. (Both about a 5 min walk.) My only complaint is, we all only had 1 pillow each lol. They give you an option to purchase additional towels if you need, but not pillows. This is not a big deal if you have less than 4 people OR only need 1 pillow lol. Overall, I will definitely be back for future trips. Minn in Kappabashi was a perfect fit for my family and made our trip comfortable. :)

Customer Service: The staff demonstrated a friendly demeanor throughout our stay, ensuring a pleasant experience for guests. Cleanliness and Maintenance:3/5 Accommodations: Bed was comfortable. Location: Senso Ji temple is around 10 mins walk and hotel is 7 min. walk from Kuramae Station. Check-In/Check-Out: They stored our luggage with no extra charge. Facilities: While the room is equipped with essential amenities such as a kettle, microwave, and fridge, it's imperative to address the cleanliness standards. Regrettably, the microwave was found to be notably unclean. Attention to Detail:We appreciate the receptionist lady who brought us extra blanket when we explained them that the room was so cold even the A.C. was working long time. Value for Money: 3/5

I used Ueno Station Hostel Original 1 near Ueno Station while traveling to Tokyo, Japan last year. You can experience a Japanese hotel famous for its capsule hotel. There is a station right in front of it, so I recommend it to tourists who have to use public transportation. You can get off the subway late at night and enter the hostel safely. The inside of the hostel is really clean. You can see several employees cleaning up every morning. Discard them all and replace them with new pillows and blankets. I used the bathroom together but it was good to clean it up. I went on a trip in winter and walked around outside all day, so it was cold, but warm water came out of the bathroom, so it was good. There was a convenience store just downstairs, so when I was hungry at night, I could look back on my day of traveling by buying and eating food from the convenience store.

This hotel is excellent, location is very good, near many sights in Tokyo, staff are very nice, and really take consideration on our needs, will visit this hotel when we travel to Tokyo again.

Excellent & Convenient location to the exhibition hall....clean room, good breakfast buffet, nice selection of food...friendly staff...easy access to other restaurants & convenient store too...

Saya menempah Hotel Washington kerana ia berhampiran Stesen Shinjuku. Terdapat juga Hotel Shinjuku Washington ”Annex”, tetapi ia bukanlah hotel dengan pemandangan Bangunan Kerajaan Metropolitan Tokyo, jadi jangan keliru! Seperti yang dikatakan oleh ulasan, tingkapnya sangat kecil,,, dan biliknya juga kecil. Jadi, saya sengaja memilih bilik berkembar, yang sekurang-kurangnya sebesar mungkin. Saiz tingkapnya kecil, tetapi terdapat dua tingkap! Adakah mungkin untuk bergerak walaupun dengan dua beg pakaian terbuka? Sangat mengecewakan kerana tingkapnya kecil dan tidak terbuka. Melihat kepada saiz bilik, saya rasa lebih baik untuk memilih bilik yang besar. Kalis bunyi tidak bagus, jadi saya dapat mendengar sedikit bunyi dengkuran dari bilik sebelah. Jika anda mempunyai kulit sensitif, sila bawa penyumbat telinga di lobi di tingkat satu. Namun, saya amat berpuas hati dengan pemandangan bersih Bangunan Kerajaan Metropolitan Tokyo.,,,, Saya mengesyorkannya!!!!

I had an amazing stay at Art hotel Narita The rooms were spotless, with a comfortable bed and beautiful views. The staff was so friendly and helpful, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be back.
