Hotel berhampiran Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum Central Building, Tokyo

As my title states, it’s really quite a “no frills budget” hotel. There is no F&B outlet in the premises. You have to buy it from the outside or have it delivered - quite a challenge for a non-Japanese speaking guest. Rooms are really small. I had issues with mine since the former guest spilled water inside the microwave (provided in the room) which housekeeping failed to clean up. I was surprised why my McDonald’s burger became soggy after i heated it up in the microwave!!! Also, there were plastic bags in the bathroom that were clearly from the previous guest. On the upside, it’s quite close to the train station to the airport as well as the subway station.

Hotel yang paling sesuai untuk backpacker, di pintu keluar JR, pengangkutan sangat mudah. ​​Terdapat juga pelbagai mainan di tingkat satu yang menarik perhatian kanak-kanak. Walaupun ia adalah bilik untuk empat orang, katilnya sangat selesa dan reka bentuk peredaran juga sangat lancar. Terdapat juga sarapan berbayar di tingkat bawah bagi mereka yang tidak bersedia. Saya pasti akan datang lagi lain kali, tetapi saya tidak tahu sama ada akan ada bilik mandi peribadi double.

We stayed 5 nights in Standard Double room (Main building) on third floor. The hotel is very convenient, 3 mins walk to Ueno station, plenty of restaurant, cafes, shopping, convenient stores. Our room double bed on the side, with dressing table and 3 seated sofa, which give us plenty of room to sit and open the luggage. Bathroom with nice bathtub. We don't have heated toilet as it was not working, we try to call the front desk, leave a note on the bathroom door to the housekeeping, didn't get fixed during our 5 nights. Check in and front desk is located on 2nd floor, the public onsen, vending machines and smoking area is also on the same floor, not much privacy if you're wearing hotel robe and slipper for onsen or if you just want to have a smoke. If you are a light sleeper, please request the room on higher floor, it's very noisy on the street even after midnight and early morning because of the restaurants and bars, also we can hear the 2nd floor public onsen and water noise from our room in the middle of the night during our stay. Our booking included breakfast and due to covid 19, they don't served buffet, mainly served with japanese style and we can choose from rice or bread, they didn't change the menu and we have the same food every day, breakfast time is from 7am to 9am, my advise is there are plenty of cafes, not worth to pay top price for breakfast. Also the hotel have main building and annex building, and they are completely different place where annex building is around the corner on the side street. Centurion had several hotel in Ueno, make sure you have the correct address details. There is only one small lift (2 ppl with 2 luggage will fill the lift) for the whole hotel, we stayed during non peak season and quite often we were waiting some time for the lift, there was a note in the reception to encourage guests to use the stairs instead.

It was my first time staying at Hotel Graphy in over 5 years and it's still a wonderful experience. The staff are super and the small touches like daily welcome drink, fully stocked communal kitchen, roof lounge, etc. we still great. My one minor complaint is that the breakfast was much better in the past. I would previously go just for the breakfast when I was in the area.

I used Ueno Station Hostel Original 1 near Ueno Station while traveling to Tokyo, Japan last year. You can experience a Japanese hotel famous for its capsule hotel. There is a station right in front of it, so I recommend it to tourists who have to use public transportation. You can get off the subway late at night and enter the hostel safely. The inside of the hostel is really clean. You can see several employees cleaning up every morning. Discard them all and replace them with new pillows and blankets. I used the bathroom together but it was good to clean it up. I went on a trip in winter and walked around outside all day, so it was cold, but warm water came out of the bathroom, so it was good. There was a convenience store just downstairs, so when I was hungry at night, I could look back on my day of traveling by buying and eating food from the convenience store.

Ini adalah penginapan yang baik. Satu-satunya aduan ialah tandas lobi agak tidak bersih dan sentiasa menunggu lama untuk lif. Juga permaidani bilik ditutupi dengan lint balla tetapi sebaliknya ia adalah bilik yang bersih. Katilnya selesa. Pemandangan dari bilik itu bagus. Lokasi sangat bagus. Pilihan pada bufet sarapan pagi adalah pelbagai dan sedap.

The Hotel is very close to the JR Nippori Station. If you don't mind the 25+ steps, its just 2 mins walk from the South Gate. But if you prefer escalator, you can take the East Gate which is just 1 street away and there are restaurant, big drug store and small shops to stroll on your way. Right opposite the East Gate, there is a supermarket where you can shop fresh fruits, yogurt or even sashimi. Worth a visit! Besides, it just 10-15 mins walk away from the West Nippori Station where you can ride the other electric railway/metro lines directly. The twin bed room we stayed is 26-28m2 which you know is very big in Tokyo standard. There is a sofa bed (with a coffee table & chair) at the corner of the room where we can comfortably opened 2 suit cases during our stay. Another plus is that the room is made every day. The only critics are 1) noise insulation can be improved, we heard sound from the corridor (incl. laugh fm opposite room and room being made up in the morning); 2) the toilet is tiny. Anyhow, we are happy to return!

Saya menempah Hotel Washington kerana ia berhampiran Stesen Shinjuku. Terdapat juga Hotel Shinjuku Washington ”Annex”, tetapi ia bukanlah hotel dengan pemandangan Bangunan Kerajaan Metropolitan Tokyo, jadi jangan keliru! Seperti yang dikatakan oleh ulasan, tingkapnya sangat kecil,,, dan biliknya juga kecil. Jadi, saya sengaja memilih bilik berkembar, yang sekurang-kurangnya sebesar mungkin. Saiz tingkapnya kecil, tetapi terdapat dua tingkap! Adakah mungkin untuk bergerak walaupun dengan dua beg pakaian terbuka? Sangat mengecewakan kerana tingkapnya kecil dan tidak terbuka. Melihat kepada saiz bilik, saya rasa lebih baik untuk memilih bilik yang besar. Kalis bunyi tidak bagus, jadi saya dapat mendengar sedikit bunyi dengkuran dari bilik sebelah. Jika anda mempunyai kulit sensitif, sila bawa penyumbat telinga di lobi di tingkat satu. Namun, saya amat berpuas hati dengan pemandangan bersih Bangunan Kerajaan Metropolitan Tokyo.,,,, Saya mengesyorkannya!!!!

Hotel ini mestilah hotel bertaraf bintang lama dengan kemudahan dan perkhidmatan dalam talian. Bilik ini agak besar untuk hotel Jepun. Ia mempunyai ruang yang berasingan untuk meja solek dan bilik jubah, yang sangat bagus. Lokasi hotel bukanlah yang paling dekat dengan kawasan perniagaan, tetapi ia tenang di tengah-tengah kesibukan Jika anda membeli sesuatu di Keio Depar**ent Store, anda boleh menghantarnya ke hotel (dari apa yang tetamu lain katakan ). Terdapat dua kedai serbaneka dalam jarak tiga minit berjalan kaki dari hotel, yang sangat mudah untuk membeli makanan dan minuman. Bas lapangan terbang terus ke pintu hotel, yang bagus untuk saya yang sedikit keliru selepas turun dari pesawat.

I booked a room with 4 beds. Very clean and comfortable. There is a Lawson just opposite to the hotel and the hotel is attached to a shopping mall. Super convenient. 5 mins walk from JR. On-site carpark available. Onsen is also attached to the hotel with extra charge. Overall a very pleasant stay.
