Hotel dengan Bar di Toledo

We traveled to Toledo from Madrid with the intention of staying just one night. When we arrived at this hotel we were extremely impressed. The building is very unassuming from the outside but the interior is beautiful. As soon as we got to our room we called the front desk to book a second night. Staff was wonderful, breakfast amazing and the room was very spacious, which is not common in Europe.

Wonderful experience such a charming hotel with a feeling of old time century. The front reception staff are excellent with great knowledge, looking to really make your Toledo experience maravilloso. I was giving an upgraded room with an amazing view of the old city. The rooms are lovely well cleaned and very rustic old charm. The hotel as a restaurant and lobby bar. No coffee markers in the room they have a nespresso machine complimentary all day. They offer free parking on the hotel grounds I would recommend this hotel for a different experience.

This is the first time we have stayed in a Parador and based on this experience it won't be the last. The hotel's location is magnificent, set on a hillside overlooking the old city of Toledo but with easy access from the Autovia. Check in was a pleasant experience and later when we needed help printing our barding passes the guys on the desk certainly went out of their way to help. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of cheeses, meats and fish. Cooked options were available but we were more than happy with the buffet. The view from the breakfast room is outstanding. Finally I come to the room. We had treated ourselves to a Junior Suite which consisted of a bedroom, a sitting room and a large bathroom with both a walk in shower and a sunken bath. Each window gave the wonderful view of the city both by day and at night when the main buildings are floodlit. As well as coffee there were complementary soft drinks and water in the fridge together with a couple of tins of nuts. Check-out was not until 12 and we would have lingered until then had we not had a flight to catch.

Nos hemos alojado en este hotel esta noche pasada… y por la razón que sea, imagino que por alta demanda, me cobraron 250€ por la habitación cuando el precio habitual según estoy viendo es sobre 70€. Vamos por partes porque ha sido muy deplorables las distintas cuestiones. Hoy había un examen en la universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Justo en frente del hotel. Reservé este hotel a mi mujer porque pudiese dejar el coche aparcado en el mismo hotel y cruzar andando por un puente que hay Justo en frente, ya que yo no iba a poder acompañarla. En la recepción me juraron y perjuraron que le venía perfecto porque cruzando por ese puente llegaba andando en no más de 7-8 min. Pues el puente lleva cerrado desde que se hizo y no se puede cruzar. Y nos vimos corriendo al hotel para coger el coche y llegar a tiempo. Luego ayer por la noche hacía fresco en la habitación, para lo cual tampoco pudieron hacer nada. Ya que nos dijeron que no se podía poner el aire caliente. Decidimos darnos una ducha por la noche y no funciona el agua porque estaba roto el grifo… salía el agua fría. Mandaron al servicio técnico y el hombre intentó solucionar el problema pero había que cambiar el grifo entero, siendo ya esa hora le dijimos nosotros que no, que ya nos apañábamos con el agua medio templada que pudo dejar él abriendo todos los grifos al Máximo de temperatura. Cenamos en el mismo hotel y en el restaurante había como una nube de mosquitos que no nos dejaron de picar en toda la cena, además de ser una cena extremadamente larga por el servicio. No suelo escribir para dar quejas, las entiendo y son cosas que pasan. Pero tantas cosas en un hotel de categoría 5 estrellas con ese precio… no me había pasado nunca… Lo siento pero mi experiencia en este día no ha sido para nada positiva.

The on site parking ($10) secured was a huge bonus (don't try to take a large car down there). The hotel is close to the old town (which is up a big hill) but there are two different sets of escalators going up. Very odd to see like 10 different moving stairs to get you up a hill.. these were well used by the locals certainly. Room was nice, clean and modern, close to the town but not ”in it” meaning no tight streets to squeeze down. I found this refreshing - after a week of driving ”too small” roads to hit the circle off the highway turn right and park ... ride the escalator and you re where you want to be. All in all a pleasant experience and I would def stay here again if in Toledo.

We have spent three weeks in Spain; traveling to Barcelona, Seville, Madrid, and Toledo. The hotels have been top notch and the staffs have been friendly until this Eurostar. Let me first say that we were previously at a Eurostar in Barcelona( the Grand Marina) and received superb service. When we walked into Buenavista not one staff member said hello or hola. We initiated the exchanges. No smiles nada. No offer of water which was set up I assume for guest. I did notice that the staff was much friendlier to those who spoke Spanish. Check in was quick but image our surprise when there wasn’t an offer to have someone cart our bags to our room. We had been traveling all day since 7 AM and reached the hotel at about 3:30 pm. It was hot and we we’re definitely bedraggled. We came to Spain not knowing the language well but have successfully used Goggle Translate. When we went to dinner the waitress admittedly didn’t speak English which was fine, so we used our translator. Once again we were not greeted and staff was reluctant to speak with us.The first waiter said he didn’t speak English and after we got him to understand our room number, he grabbed another waitress and “ had her deal with us”. I understand some Spanish. It was clear that neither waiter wanted to attend to us. After asking for our drink orders we were told “ no”. When I asked for a drink menu she said they only had wine and beer, but I later saw a couple with what appeared to be a cocktail. After selecting and receiving grilled beef tenderloin. The waitress NEVER CHECKED BACK to check on us, until I waved her down for the bill. During dinner staff were around but ignored us. This unfriendly and rude behavior happen again at breakfast. No greetings were returned and again they were obviously friendly to the Spanish speaking guests. Typically at buffets dishes are removed from the table so that you can use a fresh dish. While other guest had dishes immediately removed ours sat in front of us from 8:00 am until our departure at 9:00 am. Let me correct myself. Right before we left one plate was removed. Front desk staff did call a cab as we requested but again they appeared u happy to help us. Honestly, we have been stunned by the ongoing pattern of disregard and unfriendliness. I usually right reviews AFTER I return home.Im writing this while I’m still here. I’ve just returned to the hotel from an outing and 1:30 PM. When I went upstairs my room key no longer worked. The front desk attendant rescanned it but offered no explanation and again was unsmiling until she accidentally ( I assume) flipped the key so that it landed in the counter instead of my hand. The room wasn’t cleaned but perhaps they, like everyone else have a staff shortage. I’d rather have a “dirty” room and polite staff. I’m not sure why but Toledo Spain in general has been the least friendly place. I don’t like making global statements but …. .I’m really glad that we’re only spending two nights here. The hotel is b

Stayed for 3 nights in July 2022 with two children. The hotel is old, but mostly very good, clean and comfortable for the reasonable price of around 100 euros a night. Quite big pool area with a small pool for children. A lot of sunbeds and a bar that is open until afternoon. In the hotel there is a free-of-charge kids club (miniclub) with an employee playing with the kids, and 3+ year-olds can stay without parents. Open almost all day. Our children loved it, and often rather wanted to go there than play in the pool. The teacher is lovely and does all kinds of fun things with the kids. They were even given a diploma and a t-shirt after participation. The breakfast was very poor though and needs an immediate improvement. We had it one day, and can't recommend it for any price. Not many options , and food didnt seem fresh and was not tasty. Pastries didnt seem to be from the same day. Long queue to the coffee machine because 2 out of 3 machines were out of use.

The bed was comfortable and the fridge in the room was useful. It was just unfortunate there was building work going on next door and they started promptly at 8am! The sky bar was lovely, if a little pricey. It was lovely to be able sit up there and enjoy a drink with friends. The seats and cushions are synthetic so take a towel or something to sit on as not pleasant at this time of year with the heat. It was nice that there was hot and cold breakfast available.

We stayed here for three nights. Check in was smooth and speedy. We stayed in room 210 . The view wasn't great but we weren't really bothered by that . It was quiet , away from the road . The room had an en suite with shower over the bath and a hairdryer and individually wrapped soaps/shower gels. It had aircon but we didn't need that. In fact it was a bit cool on the first night. There didn't seem to be any heating. There was spare blankets in the wardrobe. There was a tv but we didn't use that. There wasn't any coffee/tea making facilities in the room or a safe. There was safety deposit boxes at reception. We were booked in for bed and breakfast. The staff in the restaurant in the morning were very nice. I don't drink tea/coffee so they made me hot lemon and honey every morning . I also use honey in my yoghurt which theirs had crystalized a bit so was hard to get out. The next morning she'd put it in hot water to soften it up for me before I'd arrived. These things might not seem much but to me it's these little things that are appreciated. The location is very good for sightseeing this lovely city
