Hotel 3 Bintang di Toledo

Stayed 3 nights on a Leger Holidays tour. Room was ok. Had a safe (but it wasn't secured to the wall which makes it a bit pointless really) Mini bar/Fridge and hairdryer. Free air con that packed up on our last morning. Good spread at breakfast and although the restaurant gets crowded there is also an overflow room. The bad points: 1/. The cafe style bar area isn't really big enough for the size of the hotel, although there is a large lounge area adjacent to the Reception desk and entrance I always feel you lose a bit of atmosphere in these such areas. 2/. We couldn't get cold water out of the basin mixer tap or the shower. It was hot water or nothing. 3/. There was an Iron available on request but there appeared to be only one. So if a guest held onto it you had to go without.

We absolutely enjoyed the stay at the hotel. Staff are very friendly and attentive to details. Breakfast was amazing and staff were super welcoming and always ready to quickly identify our table. Hotel is close to the square and great view from roof top patio.Kudos to the team!

We were given a dirty room reeking of smoke and with a window towards a patio which did not exactly serve for ventilating out the horrid stench, since it was the place people of a nearby bar went to smoke. Since our daughter has asthma there was little we could do but cancel the reservation and look for something else, which was nearly impossible at 9 pm in the evening of good Friday. Tge receptionist offered no refund or nothing and when we did not want to make another reservation in a hotel she knew (one double bed for a family of four), she behaved very ugly and unprofessional and accused us if being rude and impossible and that she could not help it is f we did not ”like” the room. She conveniently forgot that she had admitted herself that it smelled very bad and treated us asv if we were crazy. She also sneakily made us fill in an invalid complaint request as we later realised. So, this easily qualifies as the worst hotel experience of my life, so far, and the most disagreeable ”service” I have ever encountered. We will seek legal counseling to get our money back, just out of principle. Stay very clear if this fraudulent hotel

Limpieza muy deficiente, debajo de la cama no habían limpiado hacia mucho tiempo había una capa de polvo impresionante, cubrecamas sucios i con agujeros de cigarrillos. Habitación pequeña con una ventana al pequeño patio de luces, desperfectos varios en esquinas y baldosas, las cortinas de la bañera eran cortas i no cogían todo el perímetro tienes que ducharte con mucho cuidado para no dejar el cuarto de baño inundado. El desayuno nefasto, el café con leche malísimo, el poco embutidos que había de muy mala calidad así como los zumos de frutas, el último día todo y teniéndolo pagado, nos fuimos a desayunar fuera. Recepción sin apenas información, folletos, propuestas de visitas interesantes. El personal de recepción es amable y correcto. La ubicación es muy buena No es un hotel a la altura de las 3 estrellas que tiene

The hotel is located by the river at the foot of the hill on which Toledo old town is situated. It’s slightly away from the centre and very easy to find the way there by car. We booked a double room for one night, which turned out to be the corner room on the first floor overlooking the street. It was medium sized, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, well appointed, with a large comfortable bed. We heard no street noise overnight. The hotel receptionist was very helpful, particularly when she came outside to assist us with the parking meter (see below). The walk to the old town from the hotel is up steep cobbled streets and I expect is very tiring, particularly in hot weather. However, opposite the hotel is a bus stop from which the No.12 mini bus leaves every 30 mins. For 1 euro this will take you the 5 stops to the junction of Cuesta Carlos V and the Plaza Zocodover at the North West corner of the Alcazar. The downhill walk back to the hotel from this area is no hardship, even after a big meal. There are plenty of bars/restaurants around Plaza Zocodover and nearby Plaza Magdalena, although the restaurants don’t start to open until about 20:00. A bit further along Cuesta Carlos V from the bus stop is where the tourist “train” runs from. This is a pleasant and informative 45mins trip around the city walls with stunning views of Toledo from the opposite side of the river. Parking, we have a large SUV (Jag F-Pace) and parking it was the main reason for choosing this hotel. It has its own garage for 15 euro a night. The entrance door is wide enough for any size car to get in or out, but the 10 or so parking bays inside are quite narrow. Getting into one when the surrounding bays are empty and can be driven into to help manoeuvring would be no problem either. However if the surrounding bays are taken, I imagine the bigger the car, the more awkward the necessary shuffling would be. In the end we didn’t need the garage because there are 8 or so on street parking bays directly outside the hotel, and we arrived about 15:00 and dropped lucky and got one. In fact the closer it got to 17:00, the more spaces became available. These bays are in the orange zone 1 area which means there is a charge to park between 10:00 x 14:00 and 17:00 x 21:00 on weekdays. It’s 3 euro for each 4 hour period. The parking meter is a bit complicated, but as best I remember it goes like this. Touch the screen to turn on. Then press the key with the flag icon on it. Select English. Select “general” ticket. Type in your car number and then pay. Display ticket in your windscreen. You can pay at any time but the ticket doesn’t start until the charge period. We paid 3 euro at 15:00, which covered us until 10:00 the following day, by which time we’d left. I imagine there are nicer hotels, in better locations, further up in the old town, but with a car there are only a couple of underground public car parks up there and some of the streets are very narrow. We had booked two nights at the hotel but really considered checking out after the first nigh as a car is required to visit the city and the restaurant was closed. I showed the receptionist their web page and it said that the restaurant was open. A few hours later we were told that a meal would be coked for us and could we choose what we wanted. It appeared that one chef was ill and the other chef came in and cooked just for us, this was a piece of great customer service which we appreciated. I believe that due to covid the hotel was not getting many guests and therefore revenue was down, this also showed in the garden not been kept tidy, although the pool was in good repair. The room required a little tender loving but had a fridge and AC but no safe. The public areas in the hotel were clean and tidy. The panoramic view of the city was spectacular. I feel for the hotel owners as with reduced revenue they did not have enough money to spend on the outside areas, but I think that as the number of guest increase the hotel will shine once again.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights with our friends at the end of February . We found this family run boutique hotel which used to be a Blacksmith s very comfortable and in a great location. Nestled in the old city wall close to the Mosquita. Very good staff at all times of the day lovely friendly welcome and service . Our room was a superior double room at the back of the hotel, very comfortable although the bathroom was a little small . Self service buffet breakfast was excellent . Plenty of choice and local produce. Would definatley stay again

A lovely hotel just outside Toledo. Easy parking and a warm and welcoming receptionist who gave us tips on options for getting into town. A beautiful room with a great view and very comfortable beds. The shower was great too. We enjoyed a good dinner in the restaurant and had a quiet night's sleep. Definitely recommend.

Está muy bien ubicado, en el centro de la ciudad, a unos 100 metros de la catedral, desde el balcón se ve la torre de la catedral. Una pena que la limpieza sea tan deficiente, el balcón está acristalado y una de las ventanas no cierra y tanto en la madera como en el suelo hay excrementos y plumas de aves; el sumidero del cuarto de baño estaba sucísimo y el tope de la barra de la cortina estaba en un cajón. El desayuno está bien y el personal es muy amable. Tienen un concierto con tres aparcamientos y te dan una tarjeta para que te hagan descuento.

Elegimos 3 Habitaciones dobles con cama individuales, pues indicaros que nos encantaron, camas amplias y tanto colchones como almohadas muy cómodos, imprescindible para descansar después de patear Toledo. Baño completo con ducha muy limpio y bastante nuevo todo. Limpieza correcta . La señorita que nos atendió en la recepción muy amable y colaborativa. Si vuelves al hotel a horas tardías te dan un código de acceso para poder acceder. Situación del hotel bastante buena cerca de escaleras automáticas que van desde estación de autobuses hasta mirador arriba del todo. Elegimos habitación con desayuno incluido, desayuno continental café, zumo , tostadas con tomate o mantequilla , cruasant caliente , yogures , cereales, todo servido en mesa por la amable señorita que atiende la cafetería, terraza mirador con buenas vistas. Repetiría sin dudarl9 en futura visita a la ciudad.
