Ulasan Splendid Clubhouse

Splendid Clubhouse is rated the topmost scenic hotel in Wuzhen, and guests are allocated a butler to assist on arrival at the ancient water town's tourist centre. Our butler was JiaJia, a very attentive lady who got in touch with us on WeChat even before our arrival. She coordinated with our precious hotel to ensure we wouldn't get lost after reaching Wuzhen's tourist entrance. We were brought to our hotel on a traditional river boat. Along the way we had our breath taken away by awesome views we could only once imagine. The hotel occupies a building that was once home to a wealthy shipbuilder. His main hall is conserved as a showcase and photo site for hotel guests. There are quiet and shaded courtyards on hotel grounds for tea, rest, and reflection. I packed my family into a 2-bedroom unit that overlooks a public garden. I was told that this garden is covered in flowers in spring and summer. It is barren now in winter, but still pretty to me. We got to pre-order breakfast in the hotel, as well as a room fragrance (I picked rose!). Location is splendid. Many top food stalls and restaurants are just one either side of the hotel entrance, and one can easily get to all of Wuzhen's top sights on foot. Be sure to eat a meal at the hotel's restaurant, where the Osmanthus roasted duck is so delicious and memorable!

The hotel will assign a butler to you who will answer any of your queries. However, it will be nice if Butler Fan can tell us his working hours so that we will not disturb him unnecessary. We asked counter some queries and they forwarded to the butler to answer us. The next day, we didnt hear from him when we want to check out. The counter staff accompanied us all the way to the exit of the scenic area l, helped us with the luggages and waited with us for the taxi to come. Excellent service! The rooms are clean and renovated. The spa next door comes with 20% discount for in-house guest. Nice to book the foot massage after long walks exploring the town. It is quite popular among the visitors. The hotel breakfast is very delicious too.

Stayed one night and love the hotel. Communicated with them via WeChat before arrival and they advised on the meet up point with butler 小杨 to pick us up and arrange for the transfer of our luggages to the hotel. We chose to take the boat ride upon arrival rather than upon departure, and it was such a lovely experience. The hotel is right inside 西栅 and it is so convenient to head out at night to enjoy the beautiful night scenery. Highly recommend 锦堂 and kudos to 小杨 and staff for such a wonderful stay.

Everything about the experience was great! The location was fantastic too. I would recommend it to friends.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of Xizha Street, with excellent facilities and quiet rooms. The breakfast was exquisite, and the service was incredibly attentive, especially from Xiao Tang. She went above and beyond, braving the hot weather to shuttle back and forth between the hotel and the scenic area entrance, arranging a private boat transfer for us, and even booking our dinner. A huge thank you to her!

The butler service was warm and proactive. The hotel's location is convenient and central, with a lively street scene right outside. Breakfast was exquisite and served à la carte. I checked in on September 30th and regret not having more time to choose my room. The hotel atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is right in the heart of Wuzhen, making it super convenient to get everywhere. It even has its own dock and boat shuttle for easy access in and out. The service is absolutely outstanding, a special thank you to Xiao Yi for being so thoughtful and attentive. The breakfast at the restaurant was exquisite, and we enjoyed two excellent dinners there as well. We'll definitely be back!

The hotel was excellent. The check in process in the Scenic Area ticket office was very smooth and the complimentary boat ride to the hotel made it really easy to get there. The rooms are fabulous and the staff were very helpful, making a great effort to try to speak English to assist us. Ms 余敏 Yu Min from reception was super helpful and really went above and beyond to make our stay great! Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

This is my third stay at Jintang, and I'm as satisfied as ever. The butler service is wonderfully warm and attentive, always responding immediately to any issues. I also really appreciated the complimentary activities provided with the room. And the breakfast is still abundant and delicious.

Considering its location within the Wuzhen scenic area, the hotel's rooms and amenities were quite decent, and it was super convenient for exploring the area. Service was acceptable, but more attention could be paid to cleanliness details.

Overall, it's decent. The hotel is located right in the heart of the scenic area, with the ancient town right at your doorstep. Beyond the old, unassuming entrance, the interior decor is a world apart – quite sophisticated with large glass windows offering nice views. **Issues:** 1. **Cleanliness**: The carpet by the bed had noticeable stains, and there were dust bunnies under the bed. 2. **Service**: Overall, the service was generally alright, especially considering the price point. They offered butler service, but the quality and professionalism were just average. They simply did their basic duties; there was nothing impressive or exceptional about it. 3. For this price, I'd expect an automated toilet as standard, but unfortunately, this hotel didn't have one. 4. The hotel's own ground-floor restaurant doesn't offer priority seating for in-house guests; we had to queue just like outside visitors. Even with a reservation, we still had to wait upon arrival. This resulted in a slightly disappointing experience for in-house guests when using the hotel's own amenities.

The hotel's location right within the scenic area is incredibly convenient, and the views are absolutely stunning. A special thanks to Fan Jiahui, who was exceptionally warm and helpful, assisting us with our luggage. We really appreciate it and would definitely return given the opportunity.
