Hotel berhampiran Masaryk Park, Toronto

Thank you for the B&B you guys provide. It was amazing. The communication was a little off in the beginning, but after talking with the assistant on the day of, it clear things up. It is a little work to get the key. They will call and give you info the day of. You have to park your car on side street, they’ll buzz you in, you go to the unit to get the key and back to your car. When you get to the basement parking lot, please turn right and open it with the fob (it took us a long time to figure it out, no arrows for direction). The elevator should be in the middle of the parking lot (it took us sometime to find them too). The place itself was clean and has a nice view of the city. Neighbours are very quiet. The assistants were friendly. Checking out: well it’s tricky, you have to get your car out first, then come back to the unit to leave the key. The deposit will be reimbursed after the cleaner sees the place (which could be hours). They take cash/paypal/e-transfer for the deposit. Just communicate with them in advance and you’ll be fine.

Je ne sais même pas par quoi commencer. Déjà, l'auberge est assez loin du centre et pas facile à trouver car très mal indiquée. Ensuite, ils ne savent clairement pas gérer leur réservation, car nous avions réservé des lits dans des chambres 4 féminines pour n'en avoir qu'une, et nous retrouver à dormir dans un dortoir de 10 lits avec 8 hommes plus ou moins âgés. Et nous n'étions clairement pas les seuls car chaque personne qui arrivait semblait avoir un problème. Le dortoir est très mal agencé, absolument aucune intimité et aucun rangement à part des tous petits casiers où il vous faudra votre propre cadenas. Les lits superposés en métal bouge énormément, il n'y a pas de volet et il y a juste des rideaux qui couvre à moitié les fenêtres. Ensuite la propreté. Le ménage n'est pas fait tous les jours, ni même tous les 3 jours. La cuisine aussi n'est pas très propre, des insectes se promenaient sur le comptoir. Le personnel est aimable mais pas compétent du tout. Il y a Netflix et quelques jeux . Attention si vous êtes allergiques aux chats, il y en a deux qui se promènent dans l'auberge.

I stayed with Samesun in Toronto in Mars 2023. They have a 24 h open reception. The check in went smoothly, the rooms, bathrooms and showers were clean! You have a charger and a small lamp by your bed and curtains to separate yourself from the other’s. The best thing about the stay was the free of charge breakfast in the morning! Coffee, bagels, waffles, cereal, fruit etc.. so nice.

My review may be different from other's experience, but I got a room that fits on the option that I payed for. As I am not a picky traveller, I was okay that I got single room with private bathroom. If you are a traveller who walks a lot and takes transportation and woman, you may want to be little bit careful as surroundings are houses and dark at night time. Streetcars and the nearest subway are not that far (streetcars: about 5 mins / subway: 10 mins). At dawn, if you want to buy something, you need to go to convenience store which is about 15-20 mins away. If you are nighttime traveller and active at nighttime, you may want to choose different place. Otherwise, I think this is a budget-matching place to take a sleep. My room didn't have hair dryer, so be aware of this lol. Beside some parts, I was okay with staying here. Refrigerator and microwave was there so I had some latenight meal, so this was good. During summer, this is going to be little harsh as it didn't have air conditioner (or the ventilator may give you a cool air during summer; I had hot air as I travelled in winter).

Chelsea hotel is very close to the University of Toronto, bus station, banks, supermarket. The location is vary good and the price is not too expensive.Though, there's no refrigerator in the room and you can have the ice cubes at the corner of the same floor. And the fertilities of the room are quite dilapidated, like the carpet with dirt ,the water volume of the faucet is not easy to control.....

I loved my stay here. It is a low-cost place in a local neighbourhood, and that’s what I was looking for. My room was clean and efficient. It is a bit weird in that there is no public signage and you have to read signs on the doors to find your way to check-in. Once there, the people who run the place are lovely. There is no elevator so I had help carrying my bag up the stairs to the second floor. Best to bring your own toiletries, but they have small packets of shampoo etc it you want them. I loved the fact that there were some food items left in the fridge - and I left some behind. Much more like a short stay in an apartment than a hotel. Great local restaurants and easy transit. I was attending a downtown conference and loved my place a $17 Uber away from the convention centre.

Que dire ... … Il y a du bon et du « catastrophique on a jamais vu ça de notre vie » Commençons par les bons points : - l’emplacement est vraiment parfait - le prix - l’option parking proposée par le propriétaire ... Mis a part ça c’est dramatique. Avant même d’arriver nous nous sommes fait agresser par message par le gérant( qui ne souhaite pas échanger de vive voix et privilégie WhatsApp). Une fois arrivés Je pense que nous avons été chanceux d’avoir la chambre n’13, le propriétaire était lui meme surpris de la chambre en entrant. Vue dégagée sur un mur à … 1 mètre et une température de 16 degrés (la Clim fonctionne y’a rien à dire) ! 3 lits de prisons peu accueillants mais qui suffisent après des journées de marche dans la ville. Des règles de bon fonctionnement affichées sur la porte auraient pu nous coûter cher si elles n’avaient pas été respectée : - 150$ s’il y a de l’eau en dehors de la douche [je précise que le pommeau donne sur l’extérieur] - 50$ pour la musique trop forte - 50$ si on mange dans la chambre - 500$ si on fume dans la chambre … La liste est longue Durant le séjour la police a débarqué dans la chambre du haut (en cassant non seulement la porte d’entrée de l’hôtel mais aussi la porte de la chambre du dessus) pour pouvoir intervenir car un gars tapait sur sa blonde (aka une Bertrand Cantat). C’est un hôtel dans lequel visiblement tout peut arriver et qui devrait représenter un lieu de passage iconique d’une visite à Toronto

We made a quick three day trip to Toronto and only needed a place to lay our heads. Room was clean. Air conditioning worked. Quiet sleeping conditions. Breakfast was good and the location allowed us to walk everywhere we needed in less than 2 km. Staff were friendly and a very secure building.
