The hotel is in a good location within easy walking distance to the centre; beautifully appointed following a full refurbishment and has a lovely ambiance with an outdoor courtyard to sit (weather permitting). Our room was lovely, comfortable beds and quality linen. Parking is secure and underground. There are spa facilities and room service but sadly no restaurant. Albeit there’s a meat/burger restaurant next door. The continental breakfast was plentiful and of local quality produce ie butter, bread, preserves. Would highly recommend if visiting Troyes on business or pleasure. Staff were friendly and obliging.

Located in the historic centre of Troyes the Maison de Rhodes is centred around an ancient garden. The restoration of this former property of the Knights of Malta was entrusted to the Compagnons du Devoir which has restored this medieval house to its former glory. The bedrooms feature Chassagne stone floors or hexagonal-floor tiles and splendid timber framing. The decoration is a contemporary take on the original 17th century design with its reworked panelling and tinted beams. This journey back in time continues all the way to the hotels comfortable beds Decorated with crimson curtains the restaurant is renowned for its organic cuisine. A swimming pool has recently been built in the garden.

we booked a room for three people, when we arrived we initially had to wait for someone to come and let us in, then when we got to the room their was no bedding on the bunk bed, we had to inform the reception whom said they would sort it for us, on our return from dinner the bedding was left on the floor in a bag. We had to make the bed ourselves. Not that we found it hard, but we paid for a service. The light in the bathroom did not work, so we had to wait until morning to use the bathroom, shower etc. The room was extremely small for three people

An excellent modern style hotel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Room was very comfortable with modern style wardrobes offering plenty of storage. Car park is directly opposite the reception, easy to get to, and when we were there had ample, secure parking. Breakfast was buffet style, but had everything we wanted. All this for a very reasonable price too. From a practical viewpoint the hotel is only around 10 minutes walk from the town centre. They even supply a walking map to tour the old town, which we found extremely helpful.
