"Nothing but good things to say about the Bedrock Hotel. We were actually across the road from the hotel itself as we had one of the junior suites, which are in a newly refurbished building. The suites are fabulous, they are very roomy and very thoughtfully furnished and equipped. The bathroom itself was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have had recently and the thoughtful addition of a water filter that provides hot, cold or ambient water to order was priceless. The suites do not have kitchenettes (although they do have a small fridge) they do have a coffee machine, cups, cutlery, plates, bowls and even wine glasses in the same cabinet as the fridge, all of which came in very useful. The bed was also super comfortable and the AC worked well too.
We had originally tried to book in the Old Town itself but there was limited availability, the Bedrock was a great second choice, as it was just a short 10 to 15 minute walk away and the breakfast was great too."

sandracwl- The breakfast restaurant is too small, requiring a long wait every day. Although breakfast hours extend until 10:30 AM, food is no longer refilled after 9:30 AM.
- This stay was on the 12th-floor Concept floor, which includes afternoon tea at the Concept Lounge from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. I went to the lounge around 5:45 PM that day, but there were no hotel staff present. All used dishes and cups were left on tables, uncollected. There was absolutely no food refill. I called the hotel lobby to inquire, and eventually, a staff member arrived. This employee showed no smile whatsoever, and their service attitude was far from friendly.
- The swimming pool is on the R floor. It's very small, and there are no hotel staff or lifeguards present at all.
Given this level of service and hotel facilities, I don't believe this hotel can be considered a five-star hotel in Ipoh.

This was our second stay here. First, a lovely lady at the front desk (apologies, I didn't catch her name tag) provided very attentive and detailed service. She proactively explained many check-in specifics and shared upgrade offers. Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff clearly missed some things and didn't thoroughly check if all in-room amenities were complete. The pillowcases weren't on the pillows, the conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom were empty, and there was only one tissue left in the box. When I called the front desk for these supplies, some were still missing when they were delivered. Hilton is a well-known upscale international hotel, and such oversights really shouldn't happen. I hope to see improvement on our next visit.

Guest UserWe had a wonderful stay in Banjaran hotspring. Even though there was some issues with the facilities which comes with age and need more maintenance and care. We have complimentary visit to the adjacent theme park and enjoy it even though it was very hot and sunny. Breakfast was good with unlimited ordering from menu. But on 3rd morning, we didn't feel like eating the same food. Wish the menu is changed every alternate morning.

NizarMzSpent one night at this hotel for a business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price.
The parking area is spacious and free, with valet parking available from RM30 per night. The hotel has a modern design and is equipped with a Face ID-like entry system, which adds a nice touch of technology. All the room switches are touchscreen as well.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I also really loved the bathroom design, especially the electronically operated toilet seat very much like the ones you’d find in Japan.
They also provide complimentary snacks and carbonated drinks, which was a nice bonus.
Overall, definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for its price. Great comfort, modern facilities, and plenty of thoughtful touches. Would definitely consider staying here again.

HL-jaThe spa was a fantastic and unique experience, and the sunset on the beach was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was decent too. Our room was very close to the lobby. However, there's one thing to be aware of: service charges and taxes can be applied multiple times. For instance, after paying for the spa, an additional 10% was added to the final bill. Just a small heads-up for everyone! It was truly a happy trip 😁, but all that happiness definitely came with a price. In the end, our on-island expenses were even higher than the room rate! 😅

Steph SeeThe price we paid justifies, conditions and services were acceptable. The reception was accommodative to our request to change room after the first night due to uncomfortable stay. Thank you for their understanding. There are room for improvements in terms of room to reception intercom. No response after few attempts, we are unsure whether the line was down or there are no one attending to the call. When we got down to the reception, the front desk said no ringing tone heard. Hope the Management to take note of this shortfall. Thank you.

Shiow ChinExcellent location about 10-20 minutes' walk from many of the famous eating/traditional pastry shops. Room was clean and had sufficient space for our group of 3 adults. Beds were large and comfortable - I personally loved the bolsters provided. Also had Coway water machine and coffee machine. Bathroom was clean with sufficient towels as well. Surprisingly quiet for the middle of town. Special parking lots in front of hotel for parking. Breakfast was average but included in room rate. Friendly boss.

Guest UserHotel is located near a small lake. Location is good if you have a car as surroundings is quiet with good scenary. It is actually an apartment with 3 bedrooms. We booked 1 bedroom unit 2 other bedrooms and the guest toilet were locked. The room is big as it is equipped with a kitchen and living room. The apartment and the room facilities are somewhat aged though in general is clean. The toilet ensuited with the master bedroom is small. Breakfast varieties and taste are good.

Anonymous UserThere's one drawback: the parking is on the 6th floor. Driving a large, 7-seater right-hand drive car up to the 6th floor was a nightmare. However, the staff were great. When my child had a fever at 3 AM, the front desk attendant on duty brought us a temporal thermometer, which was really helpful.
