"Nothing but good things to say about the Bedrock Hotel. We were actually across the road from the hotel itself as we had one of the junior suites, which are in a newly refurbished building. The suites are fabulous, they are very roomy and very thoughtfully furnished and equipped. The bathroom itself was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have had recently and the thoughtful addition of a water filter that provides hot, cold or ambient water to order was priceless. The suites do not have kitchenettes (although they do have a small fridge) they do have a coffee machine, cups, cutlery, plates, bowls and even wine glasses in the same cabinet as the fridge, all of which came in very useful. The bed was also super comfortable and the AC worked well too.
We had originally tried to book in the Old Town itself but there was limited availability, the Bedrock was a great second choice, as it was just a short 10 to 15 minute walk away and the breakfast was great too."

NaqiuQuite far to Manjung town, but the hotel has everything for you to stay in. Their breakfast is good. I really like the banana fritters. Just that the hotel layout is quite confusing, especially on night. The pool is really big with mini waterpark

Guest UserMy stay at The Banjaran was a truly rejuvenating experience. Surrounded by nature, lush greenery and peaceful surroundings, it was the perfect place to slow down, disconnect and simply enjoy some quiet time. I loved the sense of privacy and calm throughout the resort, which allowed me to rest both physically and mentally. The natural hot springs, beautiful landscape and serene atmosphere made the stay even more special. It was wonderful to step away from the usual busy routine and just recharge. A peaceful and refreshing escape that left me feeling relaxed, renewed and ready to return again.

Steve ZissouHad a lovely long weekend getaway and stayed in the sea villas. The facilities were amazing with fresh water pools, tennis courts, gym and several restaurants with an excellent food selection. Our favourite was fisherman's cove which had more of a western cuisine. Overall we had a really pleasant stay. However having stayed at other similar resorts at a similar price it felt like it was lacking. I know how can I complain about staying in paradise? The area for improvement would be: an additional hose shower head instead of just the overhead one. Cleanliness of the library area. Greeting cold towels and drinks at the main lobby. Selection of shampoos, soaps and moisturisers. Eco-friendly toothbrush and energy controller with key card. Aircon and lights had to be turned off manually if we left the room. I would definitely go again but it would be nice if they took on more eco friendly initiatives.

Anonymous UserChecking in was swift. Room was of a good size. Bed and pillows were all good. Aircon was erratic and noisy. One minute it was warm and the next, freezing. We could not adjust the temperature setting. Like it was already pre set.
There was only 1 box of toothbrush in the bathroom, even though it was a room for 2. The most annoying part was the shower area whereby when you are showering, you are standing in a pool of soapy water. Even till the next morning, there's still water in the shower area. It wasn't fully drained. Someone should probably check on room 548.
Breakfast was just ok. Was somewhat surprised that people would use their bare hands to pick up the bread they were going to slice instead of using tongs or the cloth provided. I do not know whether her hands were clean or dirty, and as such, avoided the bread section.

fiq hyattThis is my fourth time staying at Beverly Hotel taiping, and I’ve had a great experience every time. The environment is pleasant, and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
Check-in and check-out processes are smooth and hassle-free, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The location is also convenient, as it’s close to Taiping Central.
Overall, everything was excellent. Keep up the good work—it’s always a nice place to stay!

Benedict SeahBedrock Ipoh exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. Check-in was seamless and wonderfully warm, setting the perfect tone for our stay.
A special mention to Debbie, who was an outstanding host — bringing a genuine family feel and going above and beyond to help us plan our time in Ipoh. Her local food recommendations were nothing short of amazing!
The room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The attention to detail impressed us — a Chinese tea set, Nespresso machine, filtered water dispenser, and a luxurious bath tub complete with bath salts. Every amenity was in perfect working order and housekeeping maintained an impeccable standard throughout.
A solid 5 stars — highly recommended!

CindyzhangzhangThe room was spacious and the living room was fully equipped. It felt like facing the tropical rainforest, very quiet, and the pools were numerous and fun. There's a 500-meter lakeside running track, giving you the feeling of running in a tropical rainforest. Breakfast was plentiful. The hotel has strict security management, and the overall environment is very quiet, making it a great resort for long stays.

Anonymous UserThere's one drawback: the parking is on the 6th floor. Driving a large, 7-seater right-hand drive car up to the 6th floor was a nightmare. However, the staff were great. When my child had a fever at 3 AM, the front desk attendant on duty brought us a temporal thermometer, which was really helpful.

Khang SengValue for money stay, good location next to Taiping Lake and close to my running start venue at Dataran Warisan, about 1KM to Dataran Warisan. One downside though, no parking space available in hotel proximity, have to park it outside near the lake.
