HHaitangAfter much deliberation, I chose this hotel in Luoyang, and it's no wonder it has such rave reviews – it truly lives up to its reputation. It's located in a bustling area, making it very convenient to visit all the attractions, with a subway station right next door and even a shuttle service to and from the station. The staff, both in housekeeping and at the front desk, are incredibly responsive to almost every request. The housekeeping staff provided delightful little surprises every day; seeing that we were taking medication and wearing glasses, they proactively offered us glasses cases and pill organizers. Every day we were here, we could order various snacks and fruits for free, and there was even a late-night snack service. When we checked out, they even gave us a bag of snacks and fruits. This level of service truly makes you feel comfortable. Next time I'm in Luoyang, I'll definitely stay here again!

Hotel & Facilities:
I stayed here for 4 nights.
The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained.
The location is excellent, only about a 5-minute walk from the main entrance of the Longmen Grottoes, plus all the shopping and food area.
There is also a nearby bridge where I enjoyed beautiful views of the grottoes without entering the site!
The receptionist Mengmeng upgraded my room to a suite free of charge, which made my stay even more memorable, since it was a special occasion! She was super helpful and kind through my stay.
Housekeeping was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day and maintained to a high standard.
The breakfast buffet had a variety of dishes and enough choices to keep breakfast interesting throughout my stay, I ate like a queen, besides the restaurant area is super peaceful.
As a Spanish girl who does not speak good Chinese, I relied on translation apps, and the staff were always patient, welcoming, and eager to help.
Exceptional Staff Support After I Sprained My Ankle:
During my visit to the Longmen Grottoes, I unfortunately sprained my ankle.
The level of care I received from the hotel staff was exceptional and was one of the main reasons I decided to extend my stay by an extra night.
The receptionist Dan Dan and the driver Zhang Hong went above and beyond to help me the night I sprained my ankle.
Ma Dan Dan was my main contact point. She regularly checked on me, provided ice for my ankle and even helped me do my laundry! She came up and down to my room several times to bring me everything I needed. I am very grateful for her time and care.
The driver Changwang took me to the nearest health centre and he was super patient and talkative, which was nice.
Special mention to one staff member called Wang Bing, she was working during the breakfast the day after I sprained my ankle and she was incredibly helpful, lovely and attentive, she even gave me a medicine for mosquito bites!
Everyone treated me with kindness and professionalism.
I believe mentioning their names is relevant, due to my particular situation, they deserve the recognition.
As a solo woman travelling and getting injured far away from home, their support meant a great deal to me.
Overall:
Whether you are a domestic or international traveller, I highly recommend this hotel.
The combination of beautiful facilities, an excellent location, outstanding cleanliness and nd caring staff made this one of the most memorable experiences I have had in my years of travelling.

GGuest UserDuring my recent trip to Zhengzhou, I stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Zhengzhou for a few nights and was overall very satisfied. The facilities are great, the location is convenient, the lobby is grand, and the bedding is comfortable. I also want to thank Manager Thierry for his excellent service. Both the breakfast and the executive lounge were pleasant. However, what really inspired me to write this review were a few small moments during my stay.
Shortly after checking in, I casually mentioned to the front desk that I’d love to make a cup of tea. Before long, a housekeeping staff member brought up extra tea bags and a hot water kettle with a smile, saying, ”I've brought you a few extra, take your time and enjoy.” It wasn't a big deal, but that feeling of ”you say it once, and they take it to heart” was really heartwarming.

GGuest UserThis location is heaven on earth. Surrounded by mountains that take on the form of Buddha. You sit right in the palm of a blessed spot. It is family owned and they treat you like family while you are there. By far some of the kindest people you will meet on your trip. Food is fantastic and homemade. There is a rooftop spot you can relax at, have tea, and even enjoy your meal there. The Shaolin temple is just a short walk from the hotel, and the owners will offer to drive you every time. Make sure to stay here if you are in the area. You will not regret it.

GGuest UserGreat location, close to all the attractions, and very convenient for dining and getting around. The cleanliness is top-notch, and the service is excellent. Since it's on the third floor, it was very quiet at night. Overall, a wonderful experience. I will definitely stay here again.

The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. The butler service was on-call and very responsive to any issues, making for two very pleasant nights. 👍

GGuest UserStayed for 6 nights. I do not usually give poor reviews as I know competition amongst hotels is tough but I do want to share my experience so that other customers can make an informed decision. Overall, my stay was alright but not outstanding (probably subpar for China’s hospitality standards).
An aspect I enjoyed was the location. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from Yanzhuang metro station. As this hotel is located in residential area, food/lifestyle options are largely catered to locals - not too worry as they are mostly modern and suitable for the younger crowds too.
For the negative aspects:
1. I felt that the service provided by hotel staffs were mediocre at best. The vibes I got was that they hated their job and being there. Basic things was not done on check-in day. For eg. introducing the hotel and its facilities, establishing communications, and informing me of my entitlements - free afternoon tea on day of check-in, check-out timing, daily coffee etc. When I returned to the hotel to rest, they would stare at me coldly which made me fairly uncomfortable.
2. Daily housekeeping was done properly and thoroughly, although there was an incident where housekeeping entered the room at 10.30am when I was still asleep. I do feel its quite inappropriate to enter the room that early, especially on a Saturday. The hotel should strongly consider fixing the housekeeping indicator or implementing a mechanism so that housekeeping knows when to enter the room.
3. Maintenance of the room could be improved. For example, the toilet flush was barely working (required multiple flushes after each use) and the water temperature fluctuates a lot when showering. The light switches were not intuitive to use and some were spoilt too.
In summary, I was taken aback by the subpar standard as other branches from this hotel chain has been excellent. While I enjoy the convenient location, I will probably not stay here again the next time I visit Zhengzhou. Please feel free to contact me if you require further information. Thanks.

GGuest UserThe stay experience was absolutely fantastic! I wasn't expecting much, given the super low price, and just booked it for its proximity to the Olympic Sports Center for a concert. But wow, was I surprised! This hotel easily rivals a 5-star property. It was clean, and the soundproofing was incredibly good. They even thoughtfully provided a fruit platter. The room was super quiet at night, and very spacious too. What's more, the hotel offered a special shuttle service to and from the concert, with staff diligently checking to make sure all concert-goers boarded. Honestly, it was incredible value for money. My first visit to Henan, and the kindness of the Henan people really touched me. This place deserves a genuine five-star review! (And I promise, I never give dishonest reviews, good or bad; every review I write is completely sincere and based on my actual experience.) I highly recommend this hotel, and I'll definitely choose it again if I'm ever back in Henan!

GGuest UserThe Qichi Suite at Puyang Baiwei Mansion was an amazing experience! I was immediately impressed by the high-quality facilities upon entering the room. The smart voice control throughout the room was incredibly convenient; one-touch operation of lights and curtains was effortless. The large-screen smart TV even allowed for screen mirroring, making it perfect for relaxing and watching shows. The bathroom featured a separate shower and toilet, a smart toilet, and high-end toiletries, ensuring a superior washing experience. The furniture in the room was of excellent quality, and the mini-bar thoughtfully provided coffee and tea. All the facilities were complete and impeccably maintained, making for a very comfortable stay.
The front desk service was also impeccable. Check-in was efficient and attentive, with staff who were consistently polite and welcoming. They meticulously explained how to use all the suite's facilities and proactively informed me about the hotel's fitness center, laundry, and other services. They patiently answered all my questions, making for a perfect experience. As expected of a high-quality hotel in Puyang, the Qichi Suite was a perfect fit in terms of both facilities and service. I'll definitely choose Baiwei Mansion again next time I'm in Puyang!

ZZhaoqianyiAll the attractions in Luoyang are great, I recommend the White Horse Temple, Longmen Grottoes, and the museum. The hotel's overall environment is excellent, the front desk service is very good, and the concierge is also nice. Everything deserves praise. The room is spacious and clean, the bedding is comfortable, and I had a very restful night's sleep. The location is superb, right next to a shopping mall. During the National Day holiday, any requests were promptly addressed. Overall, I had a fantastic experience, highly recommended! Thumbs up! 👍
