Best experience till date in a resort. Absolutely amazing service and super courteous staff. I am going to be a frequent visitor now.

We have been coming for 10 years and it just gets better and better. Rohit looked after us so well - he is a complete star. Kolukho was amazing too. We can all learn from his calmness and attention to detail. Very impressive. Chef Siva made a special last dinner for us after 8 days and it was so good we had it again for lunch before we left! His skills are outstanding. His character too is kind and helpful. All the staff here are amazing - so kind and helpful. This is why we keep coming back. We used the Audi Q7s many times and the drivers were brilliant. This hotel truly is one of the best in the world. We are already planning our next visit. Thank you Udaivilas and Oberoi Group - outstanding!

Every detail was meticulously taken care of. Housekeeping were so thorough with the cleanliness of the rooms and the beautiful petals and thoughtful touches - even my glasses were cared for with a new case. My empty toothpaste was replaced - another thoughtful and caring touch. The front of house team were diligent with every request. Nothing was too much trouble - currency exchange, boat transfer to the old town, ginger and honey tea and such a warm welcome and kind farewell. The dinner was a delight - a great and varied menu. We loved our stay in this sensational hotel.

Udaipur is a great asset for Indian tourists. The city with its lakes, the royal palace, the temples and the surrounding mountains is a real feast for the eyes. The houses in the city and the streets are of good standard and clean. We are staying in the wonderful Oberoi Hotel where the hotel facilities, the rooms and the attentive service more than exceeded our expectations.

Hello everyone. I am Bharat, and I wanted to share my honest review of my stay at The Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur. The Oberoi group has always been known for its sense of hospitality, and that is one of the main reasons why my family and I chose this hotel when we planned our visit to Udaipur. Let me start with my experience when the cab arranged by the hotel came to pick us up from the airport. It was at night, and it was raining heavily too. We were greeted by a driver organized by the hotel, who escorted us to the cab with an umbrella. The driver was a local, very polite, professional, and friendly, and he could also speak English. We had a pleasant ride to the hotel, and on the way, we had a casual chat with the driver about what places we could visit during our stay in Udaipur. Since it was night, we decided to take a cab directly to the hotel instead of stopping at a point from where a ferry would take us to the hotel. As it was dark, we felt that it would not make much difference anyway, and we would not be able to enjoy a ride on the lake at this point of time. The first thing I noticed when I entered the hotel grounds was the beautiful lighting. In a way, I am glad we decided to reach the hotel at night because had we arrived in the morning, I would never have seen this beautiful, well-lit place. I really liked the lighting, and it made the hotel look really nice. We were greeted by the front desk staff at the reception, and I really felt that the welcome was very warm and friendly. The person who spoke to us saw that we looked tired, and she suggested that we should do all the formalities in the room itself. We were glad to hear that, as we were very tired after traveling, and it would be much easier to do the formalities in the room. As for the room itself, it was quite spacious and comfortable. I will not describe every room or every part of the room, as you have probably already seen some pictures on their website, and even if you have not, I'd rather give you the opportunity to see the room when you come so you have a new experience when you arrive for your stay. We had opted for a room with a semi-private pool. As the days went by, this semi-private pool area became one of my favorite places to sit and read a book or just watch the beautiful scenery. At the end of the room were curtains that, when opened with an electric control, revealed a view of the pool and the beautiful nature beyond. Now let us talk about the service. Housekeeping is proactive and makes sure that all the necessary things are done on time. Normally, we are used to the room being cleaned once a day. But here, they asked us every evening if they could clean the room again completely, which sometimes we did not think was necessary, as the room was already clean! What I really appreciated was that all the staff, not just the housekeeping team but all the teams, were extremely polite and courteous and never behaved negatively in any way, regardless of
