This hotel's security is the worst I've encountered in all my business trips to Urumqi; their service attitude is absolutely terrible! The hotel doesn't have parking, and they told us to figure it out ourselves! We had a car full of luggage, but they wouldn't let us park inside. In the end, we had to lug several suitcases ourselves to check-in! If it weren't for the fact that we were just transiting through Urumqi and pressed for time, I would have seriously called 12315 to complain! The first thing the front desk did to resolve the issue wasn't to apologize, but to just keep explaining! This really brings down Urumqi's reputation! It's unbelievable that such a horrible hotel has such high ratings; it really makes you question the authenticity of those positive reviews!!! Everyone, avoid this place at all costs!!!

We are group of friends, 4 people, stayed in Haihua Hotel for 3 nights. When we arrived, we took metro from the airport, then walk approx. 10’ to the hotel. It was an easy walk.  For transportation within city, we took public bus.  Public bus is cheap and the stop is only 10-20 meters from the hotel.   Free flow drinking water, tea, fruits, and helpful front desk is plus points.
