From the condition of the villas to the quality of hospitality offered by staff, this was a huge disappointment. The villas have not been maintained, as evident from many deteriorating aspects throughout. Best example are the bathrooms, where the tiles do not lay flat, and the grout is cracked and very dirty. Ditto for the caulking around the tub. There's a skylight which does not let much light in due tot he accumulation of dirt and debris. The villas were two stories, and our downstairs level, which included the kitchen and living area, was overrun with ants. Not my favorite early morning activity to collect and dispose of hordes of ants. Also, we did not know what was decaying off the patio, which is off the sliding door from the living area, but there was a large community of flies which prevented us from using the patio or even going outside through the sliding doors. I requested that the "resort" address these issues but, in the 5 days we were there they did not do a thing. Also, there were steep stairs leading down to the entry door, and the railing was very loose and covered with some sticky substance. Again, I asked for this to be addressed so I didn't have to worry about falling the stairs, and it was never taken care of. We had dinner at the "club" the first night and the food was terrible. Finally, we had made reservations five months in advance for TWO villas, as we were attending a family wedding in Obidos. When we arrived, the staff told us that no, we only had a reservation for ONE villa. They were quite insistent, until we showed them the email confirmation of the reservation. Even then, they were not apologetic. They found a second villa, but it was not convenient to the first, but they said that was all they could do. We also discovered that the wedding planner had come earlier with two welcome boxes, since she knew there were two parties staying a Bom Successo, but the hotel staff told her that only one party was staying there. However, they claimed, to us, that the wedding planner only brought the one welcome box. Did they not think we would talk to her and find out they were just lying? We were promised that the hotel would provide a remediation for us (we suggested a significant discount was in order) due to the abysmal treatment and the deficient accommodations but, despite repeated inquiries, nothing was ever addressed. All in all, the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Lovely resort and very quiet. he villas are all very spacious and fully serviced. We had a one bedroom villa and it was very large. The site has been built for a few years and shows signs of age. The villa is cleaned every day and the pools are also cleaned daily. It is a golf resort and this is the main income for the area. The facilities are great and the site clean. There is 24 hour reception and security. The area is very natural and peaceful, so if you want to relax and take time out this is a great place for that. The villa has all the white goods and well equipped kitchen as well as two shower rooms. Full WiFi and multi channel TV/DVD!

The houses to rent are inside a massive closed condominium that midway went bankrupt so you have great houses with half finished ones interspersed. The houses are great but the support facilities lacking. You only have one restaurant and it’s very very far to walk to. About a mile and you don’t have proper walkways half the time. The food is decent and not very expensive. Now the complex is picking up again but it’s still half run down. One major drawback is that it’s in the middle of nowhere and far from beaches and the lake. And you have to drive miles and miles to get to beaches.

Experiência péssima Falta extrema de limpeza em casa a todos os níveis (nunca em tempo algum num resort classificado como 5 estrelas os quartos não eram limpos todos os dias) a chegada o chão estava sujo quando vieram limpar 2 dias depois apenas trocaram as toalhas e colocaram um saco do lixo fizeram as camas mas não mudaram a roupa da cama tendo em conta que estava suja não fizeram nada mais. o chão sujo quando chegamos e mantiveram o chão sujo ainda referimos isso e ignoram. O chão precisava de ser aspirado e lavado e não o fizeram 5 estrelas? Não sabem nitidamente o que é um hotel de 5 estrelas! Falta de manutenção em todo o lado, na área da piscina e inexistência de piscina das crianças (que tanto prometem) não existe também limpeza igualmente nas piscinas fomos nós e outros hóspedes que andamos a limpar para podermos usufruir de algo que pagamos e se não quisermos nadar literalmente no lixo (visto que as bombas não trabalham) o verdete nas piscinas também é deplorável Os ares condicionados COMPLETAMENTE PODRES Falta de simpatia de alguns empregados também tem de ser referido!

Excelente resort para descansar, bem integrado na natureza, o staff é extremamente simpático e disponível. Bom pequeno almoço. Fica ao lado da lagoa de Óbidos, com excelentes caminhadas, perto das praias e da Vila de Óbidos. Os apartamentos já merecem uma atualização, limpos mas já se veem os sinais do tempo.
