Nice location- just a couple of minutes walk to San Marco's, about 7 minutes walk to Realto bridge and it took me exactly 20 minutes to get to the train station(walking and taking water bus) and very friendly staff. There is a newspaper kiosk with souvenirs right in front of this hotel(a really nice is running it) as well as a souvenir, leather, some other stores and a couple of restaurants within 30 second walk from the hotel. If you would walk longer, there are even more of them. Also, there is a supermarket next door. Their breakfast room(just like on the picture) is the best part of breakfast: open window and nice view. While breakfast itself is so-so. The weird part about this hotel is that they are having 2 receptions: on the 4th and- if I remember correctly- on the 1st floor. Your check-in/check out location depends in which room you are staying at. I had a good size room and a bathroom. The only problem: during my stay there were live concerts at San Marco's. I could hear it from my room as well as deliveries to the supermarket. But again, I was not there to sleep, so I was OK with it. I don't know whether I'll be able to visit Venice again, but if I will(and provided that price is right), I would like to stay there again

Absolutely superb. Perfect in every way! Location is fantastic - away from the crowded masses but close to everything you want. Our family of four loved it!! The staff are simply the best - friendly, helpful, and personable. They make you feel like you’re their only guests - and with only 15 rooms, the service is second to none. Breakfasts are a real treat and the secluded garden terrace is a dream. I never write reviews but I wanted to for this hotel. It’s special- you’ll be delighted and happy you stayed here. I hope to be back someday!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at hotel Heureka. It is an old building with high ceilings and other cool features carefully and beautifully renovated and decorated. It is in Canneraggio away from the hustle and bustle of central Venice. It is an oasis of peace and refinement. You have to walk a little further to get to the city center but there is a lovely restaurant district nearby. The best part was meeting the hotel and kitchen managers especially Marco and Beata. They were so attentive helpful and kind and their recommendations and tips made our trip. I highly recommend Heureka and hope to go back myself one day.

Loved this hotel. It was on a quite canal, essentially no outside noise. Very well situated, close to the Academia Bridge, a pleasant walk to the main attractions, and a 25 min walk from the bus station (Piazzale Roma). My room was in the building adjacent to the main hotel (the Dependence) and it was exceptionally large for a European hotel. The bed was on a loft above the living area. If you can't manage steps, avoid this room, but if it's not a problem, then the room is excellent. Bed was really comfortable, the bathroom was large and towels were nice. I could occasionally hear footsteps overhead, but it was minor and I never heard doors slamming or other typical hotel noises. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel - it was expensive and I only wanted a small, simple breakfast.

This is an absolutely brilliant hotel, I loved the decor the bed was comfy and the bathroom was spot on. There were also tea and coffee making facilities in the room which is always a bonus and free water was provided. That having been said i think the hotel is probably not suited for the less agile as there are steep and narrow stairs to climb. Another consideration is that breakfast was not actually served at the hotel we were given a voucher for breakfast which were redeemed at a cafe about 7 minutes walk away,the breakfast was perfectly adequate so it wasn't a deal break merely a bit in convenient. also we stayed for three nights but we only given breakfast vouchers to two days, we never made a fuss but just bear it in mind. Would i stay at this hotel again, yes it was clean the staff were friendly and i had an enjoyable stay,I would however prefer breakfast served on site

mattress needed replacement fan in washroom sounded like an airplane need shower curtain in bathroom some form of bar service downstairs would have been nice scrambled eggs and bacon better than cold cuts a pancake machine would be very popular
