Hotel berhampiran Lasek na Płudach, Warsaw

I stayed here for a few nights on a sightseeing trip and had a lovely stay. The location is convenient for getting around as there are tram and bus stops directly outside the hotel and also a metro station less than ten minutes away (Dworzec Gdanski). You can also walk to the Old town easily. To and from the airport I preferred taking a taxi though as there is no direct line. The breakfast had everything I expected; various breads, cereals and hot dishes such as scrambled egg and sausages and fruit. The staff are polite and welcoming. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and the only noise I heard was from the odd siren outside during the night (I stayed in a room facing the busy street but was on the 5th floor so that helped). The rooms were very warm though and the air condition seemed to be set to heating only (maybe always at this time of year) so this was a little uncomfortable. The duvet was really thick as well so took a while to get used to. Other than that I think it's a great hotel for the price and location and would highly recommend it. The wifi was also superb, worked throughout the hotel and didn't cut out once.

The hotel was beautiful. We arrived very late (and booked late) so there was an issue with finding the booking, but this was resolved promptly. The bathroom was a little smoky (non smoking room). We informed staff in the morning, they were very apologetic and said they would check the room for future guests. It was a trip for our anniversary and the hotel provided sparkling wine- a lovely touch! I would highly recommend. Central location, nice hotel, comfortable beds and friendly staff.

I stayed here for three nights last September. As Marriott platinum member, I was automatically upgraded to junior suite. Thank you! This property is stunning! It’s a former palace and I feel like I was a royal. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The property is only 5 minutes walk from old town Warsaw. I simply love this property and has booked my 2024 visit to Warsaw in this property.

I have to stay I have not stayed here but - unfortunately - I DID BOOK a room here via Booking.com. It was only for one quick night so a two-star hotel would have done just fine. My booking said I would have to pay by the hotel and also included free cancellation. I am a bit wary of lower-class hotels - turns out rightfully so - therefore, thinking that I would have to pay at the accommodation anyway, I provided them with details of my top-up credit card. A bit later they contacted me saying that my card was not valid and I would have to give them another card. (Turns out they wanted to pre-authorize my credit card.) After a couple of messages with the hotel to clarify this and also make sure that cancellation would be free indeed, I updated my credit card details and let them know. Yet, without warning, they abruptly canceled my booking stating that my credit card was still not valid. Now, as you see it in my profile, I travel quite a lot, and never ever have I had my credit card rejected by a hotel so it sounded all very dubious. All in all this hotel seems very fishy and suspicious so perhaps it is a lucky escape. Mind you they have my credit card details so hopefully, I will not be subjected to credit card fraud on their behalf.

breakfast is very nice - they offer good quality food, a broad variety and nice coffee; the location is not far from city centre and public transport is in walkable distance; there are even some shops very close and the Fabryce Norblina is a shopping mal and food court next to the hotel; the rooms are quite outdated; still clean but they would need to be refurbished; there is not plug next to the bedside tables; TV does not connect to any devices; water pressure was ok but the hairdryer stopped working due to overheat protection after some minutes of use...is you have long hair bring your own!

The hotel is very comfortable, with good views and facilities. The location of the hotel is also very good. There are many large shopping malls and restaurants nearby. Opposite the Palace of Science and Culture, the scenery at night is first-class. It's a very good travel experience, basically I choose this hotel every time I'm in Warsaw. The service staff has a good attitude and smiles.

Elevator closed slowly and that’s about all which was negative. Everything else is fine.

My first impression of this hotel was very good, beautiful building, modern decor, stunning foyer and easy check in. The bedroom was huge, large double bed (room was big so think they could’ve made use of space and put larger bed in) large separate bathroom with heated floor and non steam mirror, it was a standard room so no view to speak of and no bath but wasn’t expecting that for a standard room. Mr H wasn’t joining me until second day and I slept well first night and bed seemed comfortable. But it was second and third night we had the issues, be warned Friday and Saturday night there are numerous clubs next door to the hotel and they party until 5am. Mr H and I on the Saturday night especially were awake for 3 hours while the shouting and screaming and smashing bottles went on outside. It did not make for a restful sleep, we also found with 2 of us in the bed it seemed to dip meaning we were rolling into each other all night!! We didn’t complain on check out as we could hear others complaining, plus we were leaving on the Sunday and knew we wouldn’t be back because of those very issues so didn’t see the point in complaining. We had breakfast and must say for Warsaw it’s very expensive around £20 each however it is excellent quality and variety. Served a La carte but you can pretty much have what you want and as much of it as you want. The smoked salmon bagel was particularly good and they serve sparkling wine and juices freely. Mr H had an omelette and pancakes and there was no problem with ordering extra dishes. Such a shame about the noise as this hotel could be a five star review.

Overall was great! Although we requested a room change because they did some drilling work on the floor that we are staying and early in the morning you cannot rest because of the noise. We went down to the reception and requested to be transferred to a mire quiet room.
