Amazing stay in Top of the Tavern. Every want and need met, amazing for dietary restrictions and over the top service. Find the chapel of the holy family! You won’t regret it! Kate and Caelin and Tristan took great care of us. Dinner in Littleton was a fun treat.

We recently enjoyed a two day stay at RHI, to celebrate both our 46th anniversary and my second visit there since I was a child 55 years ago. What a lovely, luxurious experience in this beautifully maintained, charming historic inn. Our comfortable suite, The Nest, was perched on the top level - a steep climb up two flights of narrow stairs (people in the 1700s must have been built differently!). Phoebe Grace, the innkeeper that day, greeted us warmly and gave us a personal tour of the place, offering to help with our bags. Things we especially liked: the very comfortable bed, tackling a couple of famous handmade Stave jigsaw puzzles which they offer guests to check out, and two fabulous gourmet dinners in the 24 Carrot dining room, plus delicious included breakfasts. Every employee we met was personable, kind, and helpful. We also enjoyed playing shuffleboard and horseshoes on the lawn surrounded by their lovely gardens, and wandering the few streets of lower Waterford; we would have liked to explore the trails if they had been better maintained. Overall, a wonderful experience and a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary!

Rabbit Hill Inn is a magical place. The Inn is lovely and full of historic charm, and the staff is excellent. Everyone was warm, knowledgeable and eager to help. This establishment manages to combine modern comforts with a rich sense of Vermont’s mystical nostalgia.

Just a brilliant friendly B@B. Two areas to sit in which was great for a solo traveller as I could read my book but there were people around me doing puzzles. Tea and “fancies” hit the spot after a long drive as did the welcome. Delicious breakfast too.

We stayed at the Rabbit Hill Inn for a vacation weekend. It was beyond our expectations. The room was very clean and spacious, with a most comfortable bed, a fireplace, and a quiet sitting area. The restaurant and food were exceptional (stay for the breakfast), We cannot wait to go back for a longer stay.

They are doing a good job maintaining the character and ambiance of the inn prior to corporate takeover - however, we miss the wonderful turn down service. Rooms are still lovely, all workers were friendly and helpful. Dinner was a bit of a disappointment, quality of the meals not the same (and especially for the price). We found their need to now to lock up the puzzles sad. It sent a message to us of distrust. Clearly the puzzles are quite expensive, but no more so than when the inn was family owned and run. All in all we had a good experience, and without previous visits to compare, we would have rated higher.
