A very friendly and helpful set the tone for an enjoyable four night stay. In a quite road but lovely birdlife in the trees, it's a short walk to the Botanical Gardens or The Quay. Room was adequate and bed very comfortable.

I recommend this hotel. I really liked it. Close to the center, near the botanical garden. Very convenient location. The hotel is quiet, clean, and peaceful. The cafe next to the reception is very popular. The staff is kind and polite.

This is not a normal hotel - it is a beautifully designed boutique hotel, combining different eras of culture, nature and modern amenities. The owner has a natural talent for identifying what people value in accommodation, and has turned these traditional buildings into a special and comfortable place to stay. The rooms have a 1940s base architecture, but with modern bathrooms, kitchens, lighting etc, and classic furniture such as leather seats. Downstairs there is a great restaurant (open breakfast, lunch and dinner) which serves quality meals with local ingredients - people from the neighborhood come just to use the restaurant. There is also an inbuilt bookshop full to the brim with unique, high quality and beautiful versions of books - many are sealed so can't be read, but looking at them all is quite fun. Buildings and gardens have been merged, allowing space for the trees to grow through balconies, adding to the authentic character. Location is near the bottom of a hill - at the top is Kings park, and at the bottom is a pedestrian bridge to the edge of the CBD, so it may take 5 minutes more to reach some city venues, but well worth it for the quality experience.

We stayed in a long stay studio. Was good I think it had been renovated before. Just the room looks a bit dark as it painted in black. They have a good restaurant in the lobby so make sure you try it as it also filled with people.

Great location just near CBD with lower prices. Room was clean and amenities provided were sufficient. Glad to have a washing machine and dryer in the hotel too.

A good traveling hotel with kitchen and adequate living space. Clean bed and a good shower place. Near to BCD area.

if you drive, this is a good place to stay as the overnight parking is free, just that they have very limited parking lot (less than 20lots). we didn't have a chance to try breakfast, but the dnner is good.

Near to KING'S PARK which is good. But a bit far from CBD to get food. Need to walk 15 minutes to look for food. But can cook which is good. The book store next to thr hotel is great. I bought a book that I like 👍.
