Onera Wimberley

I had booked this place for a two night stay costing well 600.00. We were looking forward to going when we got notice there was a Winter Storm approaching and that travel was not advised. I had called the property on Friday to cancel my Monday reservation due to this unforseen weather event. I was told that the refund was not possible because of their cancelation policies. Being in elected office, ive stayed at many places but have never had this unfortunate experience. I understand that every place has their policies but every place that i had stayed previously had made exceptions for events like this when it comes to guest safety. This place obviously puts profits above guest and family safety. I will never stay at this place in the future nor will i recommend this place to any friends or colleagues that are in my industry.

Onera is out of this world! Pictures certainly do not do it justice! We had the best time, and the best view! I couldn't believe that it was just 45 min south of Austin. It is such a beautiful spot! Thank you so so much for the accommodations. Check-in was incredibly easy and was so nice to not have to talk to anyone and go straight to the room. I have always wondered why we need to talk to a front desk when checking into a hotel we already paid for. Our recent hotel experiences have consisted of at least 5 minutes at the front desk, and I don't think anything frustrates me more lol like what more do y'all need from me?! Our experience with Gabriel of Star Party America was the icing on the cake! That was probably one of the coolest experiences we have ever had, and my wife is a space nut, so it was the perfect way to ring in her birthday. Keep them around!! Thank you so much again! I cannot recommend this place enough. 1 million stars!!

Our stay at Onera Wimberley was perfect. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, surrounded by Hill Country views. Even though we felt tucked into the peaceful woods, we were only about five minutes from town for conveniences or going out to restaurants, shops, events... As a design lover, our Spyglass unit blew me away. They are unique, beautiful, and extremely comfortable. Photos do not capture how amazing our view was. I think my favorite thing was how we felt like we were in a treehouse with abundant privacy even from the porch and hot tub. It’s evident that the development crew painstakingly kept as many trees as possible and the result is really special. We met many staff members and they were all so kind. We left our getaway feeling inspired and refreshed.

Onera Wimberley is one of the most beautiful landscape hotels I've ever stayed at. I was there for a business summit, and it was the perfect setting for our group. I highly recommend staying at Onera Wimberley and I look forward to staying there again!

I love this location! You feel secluded while only being a few miles from downtown. The units are quite unique and offer kitchenette with a few essentials and your own private hot tub! They also have a pool that over looks the Texas hills, and a large event barn for parties.
