What can I say about this wonderful little place, that hasn’t already been said? We visited here on Sunday, for the pre booked 3 course Sunday Lunch and we’re so glad that we did! Our joint of beef was cooked to perfection! The vegetables and trimmings were delicious! The parsnip and pear soup and white onion soup were stunning and the desserts were super. The staff were friendly and polite and their customer service was great. Take my advice and visit here, you won’t be disappointed!

Super locatie, op een paar minuutjes van het station waar ook bustours vertrekken om de regio te verkennen. Op 20 min ben je aan het meer. Heel veel fijne restaurantjes in de buurt. Gastvrouw en -heer waren zeer vriendelijk! Altijd klaar om tips te geven over de regio of te helpen waar ze kunnen. We werden enorm gastvrij onthaald. Ontbijt was erg uitgebreid, heel lekker Caraïbisch ontbijt gegeten, maar ook de omelet en English breakfast waren lekker. Verder ook goed extra buffetje met vers fruit, yoghurt, fruitsappen,... Wij hadden de kleinste kamer en die was voor ons net te klein/onhandig omdat we toch met 2 grote koffers zaten. Wij zijn een groter bed gewend, dus dat was wat smalletjes voor ons. Dit werd ons wel heel duidelijk gemaakt van tevoren, dus we wisten dat we in een kleinere kamer terecht zouden komen. Ook in de badkamer erg kleine lavabo en kleine mankementjes aan de douche, maar niets erg vervelend. Over het algemeen zeer aangenaam verblijf!

Great location very near train station except it’s on a hill, challenging to push our big luggage up the hotel. Plus our room was at the extension building which didn’t have lift access. Fortunately the staff was helpful and carried our luggage for us.

We stayed 21st April to 24th April, beautiful room, very clean, close to all amenities, breakfast was very good quality. Margaret looked after us very well during breakfast. Only thing I could fault is the bed was extremely uncomfortable and very hard, when looking we noticed there was a board under the mattress not sure why, but mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Walls are very thin and you can hear every conversation in the next room and every floorboard upstairs creak and doors banging. Overall a good stay, but unfortunately due to poor mattress quality and lack of sleep will not be returning. Rate 8/10.
