Ulasan Grand Mercure Xian Renmin Square

POSITIVE: - Grand Mercure Xian Renmin Square Hotel is located in the city center of Xian (about 10-15 min by bike to the city wall) - The hotel service is super nice and helpful. Checking in took a bit long, but that's not a bad thing. - The rooms are super clean. NEGATIVE: - The spa area is not directly in the hotel. You have to leave the hotel and cross the street to another building. - Pool and spa area are super cold so you can't rest and relax there. - The sauna has to be booked in advance. As it is a shared spa area. Sauna was completely booked out and cannot be used. - Price for the hotel too high due to the uncomfortable/cold spa area.

This is not the first time I have stayed at this Grand Mercure. As usual a very good choice. Helpful and welcoming staff. Rich breakfast. Highly recommended!

Love our stay, got a free upgrade to a suite!

Very nice hotel located in a private luxury area. The rooms are big, the staff are really helpful and speak decent English.

It is a wonderful option to stay in XiAn. The staff was super friendly and gentle. They helped us to resolve all our doubts and to get a couple of taxis to get to the train station and airport on time. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served from 6:00 with very good Chinese and Western menu options. Definitely a place to return to. P.s Just don't confuse it with another Mercure that is about 500 meters away and is from the same hotel operator.

Amazing hotel, we really apprecciated free upgrade

It is an old building. If you are out and about and do not spend a lot of time in the hotel, this is a decent hotel as it is near to a lot of places.

Nice hotel with a good location. Service is fine and room spacious and clean. Some difficulties with English but staff was nice and available.

The hotel definitely has a 1950s luxury vibe, it's a part of a large Renmin Square hotel complex that share some facilities (notably a great swimming pool in the next building). The location is great, walking distance to the city centre and like 7 min from metro. The hotel made a mistake in my booking and upgraded me to a suite as a result (which was nice but that room was not ready so I had to wait). The suite was nice, with a comfortable bed and pretty much twice everything I needed. Also two wifis - only the Renmin one worked, the hotel one recommended by reception did not work at all. The room had like 20 switches next to the bed, I picked the 'Night' one - bad surprise, it also switches off the bedside socket so I woke up to a discharged phone.

Not a bad place to stay, the location was really convenient and the hotel upgraded us. The rooms are very comfortable but quite dated. Didn’t get chance to use the swimming pool, but breakfast was okay- similar to most breakfast buffets in china.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. Location- good. Breakfast- good. Service - good. The view from the window was terrible. Room 2438. And very, very dark in the room. The chargers were broken - I couldn't charge my phone (worked only in the bathroom)

The hotel located in a quiet area of the city , room was very good, walking distance 5-7 minutes to metro station WULUKOU . Breakfast ok .Breakfast staff was always say the greeting with a smile and try to help and asking if need anything !The front disk ms. Alisa Gao and Abby Zhao - as I read their names- was so kind . 酒店环境很安静，离五路口地铁站走路5-7分钟。房间很不错，早餐也可以。早餐餐厅的服务员总是面带微笑地问候客人，提供帮助。前台的Alisa Gao和Abby Zhao也非常和善。- Montasser H.

Location is very nice, it's very close to the city center! Breakfast is excellent.
