It was such a great experience of staying in this beautiful hotel! The owner is very nice, the staff is great and polite. Food was delicious, and onsen is very clean and fantastic! Wonderful view from the room. Thank you very much!

Room is nice and clean with the super river view. We purchased the meal kaikesi from the hotel, the taste was great and boss lady was very nice and friendly.

Wanted a traditional ryokan experience and this ryokan ticked all the boxes! Service was so personable, and the food was so so delicious. Rooms were of decent size as well. Can’t recommend this enough. FYI that there is a pickup service from Yudanaka station to the ryokan. They can send you to the monkey park / Yudanaka station in the morning. If you’re going to the snow monkey park, the ryokan can send your luggage to Yudanaka train station (free) so that you can pick it up when you’re heading from the snow monkey park back to Yudanaka.

ladies running the inn were exceptional, exemplary of Japanese hospitality. building had a lot of character and had an amazing stay. kaiseki was also delicious. worth every cent for people who want a ryokan experience.

My stay at this ryokan in Shibu Onsen was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was impeccable. The ryokan features private onsen that can be booked in advance, offering an intimate and serene experience. Soaking in the warm, mineral-rich waters while gazing at the surrounding natural beauty was a highlight of the trip. The ryokan’s free shuttle service made exploring the area incredibly convenient. We were easily transported to the iconic Snow Monkey Park, the nearby train station, and other local attractions, which added to the seamless experience. The dining experience was nothing short of spectacular. Both private breakfast and dinner were served in a tranquil setting, with beautifully prepared dishes showcasing the best of seasonal and local ingredients. The flavors were authentic and delicious,

Really nice place to stay if you visit the monkey park and onsen village. Dinner and breakfast were stunning! And the staff were so friendly and helpful.

The hotel service was excellent, the most comfortable part of the entire trip to Japan. Everything was just right. The hotel has two large public baths, which are alternated in the morning and evening. The temperature of the outdoor bath is just right. The only downside was that it happened to be leaf fall season, so we had to scoop the fallen leaves out of the pool ourselves.

There is a hot spring street near the hotel. The environment inside the hotel is beautiful, the service is very satisfactory, the food is delicious, it is a great experience. Even though we couldn't communicate in the same language, the staff didn't mind helping us time and time again. I am very grateful and had a wonderful holiday here.

It satisfied all my fantasies about Japanese hot spring hotels. Facilities: We booked an ordinary Japanese-style room with a bathroom, but there was actually a window, but the view was different. The room was considered large in Japan, but the door was a bit small, so there was no place to spread out the suitcase. Environment: When I went there, the male and female hot spring baths had been changed, so I only experienced one. There was a large bath, a small bath, and an open-air bath, but the most comfortable one was the indoor bath, with the most suitable water temperature. There is no private bath that can be reserved, but it is better to go later. If you are lucky, you can get a private bath experience. Service: Very good. The hotel has a car to connect Yudanaka Station to the hotel, but it will be after 2 pm. There is also a route to the Snow Monkey Park, but there is no route back from the park. The hotel is very good. When we just arrived at the hotel, we found that our bag was left at the station. The staff pulled me back to the station to get the bag. I was the only one in the car, and it was a complete chartered car experience. Breakfast and dinner were very rich, and it can be seen that they were made with care, but I don’t like to eat raw food, so I just experienced it and didn’t taste anything different. There was also beef on the day I ate there, and there were many dishes, so it doesn't matter if you don't eat any of them. If you have enough budget, I still recommend trying it! ! ! You can feel the traditional Japanese dining

After seeing the snow monkeys from Jigokudani, the taxi fare is only 1,500 yen. If you don’t have any luggage, you can walk to the hotel. When checking in, the front desk will ask you about your dinner and breakfast times, and also when you plan to leave, so that we can arrange a suitable time to send you to Yudanaka Station. The waiter will then take you to your room. The suite we booked is called Fuyun. It has an entrance hall. There is a bathroom and washing area at the entrance. There are two large Western-style beds behind it. Near the end of the bed is a pair of floor-to-ceiling windows. Further inside is a huge Japanese-style living room. It is enough to lay Japanese-style beds for 4 people. The living room also has a row of windows overlooking the main hotel building and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. There is also a semi-open terrace and a private hot spring. We didn't have time to visit and use the hotel's shared hot springs. The temperature of the hot spring bath in the room is moderate, hot enough but not too hot. I can sit directly in the tub without having to stand on tiptoe to adapt to the temperature. Our dinner was set in a very spacious private room. The food was very rich and there were a lot of vegetables. My child who likes meat but not vegetables would be unhappy. Anyway, I like it very much. If I go to the room after eating too much, I will Have a cup of coffee to help digestion. We have a Nespresso capsule coffee machine in our room, which provides two types of coffee capsules, which suits my taste and is very good! This trip was a quick one and we couldn't arrange time to walk around Yuhataka Station and feel the flavor of the hot spring street. We will come back next time.
