This hotel is unexpected nice and convenient. She is located next to the exit of the train station (日本大通站). Good for families as they have washing machines and dryers at a cost (costs Yen 400 for washing and Yen 100 for drying), guest rooms are spacious and equipped with a microwave. I also like their room amenities, including body wash and hand wash. If you prefer less busy area, but accessible, this hotel definitely is a good choice. Overall, I would rate this hotel with 4 stars out of 5.

At the top of a downtown tower is the Oakwood Suites Yokohama. Upon arrival; after parking in the hotel's underground car park, we arrived at the reception with a breathtaking view of the city of Yokohama and Mount Fuji in the distance. Our rooms were fantastic and beautifully decorated. They were very large with a large, very well-equipped kitchen, a magnificent bathroom, a washing machine and a breathtaking view of the harbour. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel was exemplary. We had a very pleasant stay and all the hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly.

The Intercontinental Yokohama Pier 8 is part of the Cruise Terminal Complex ”Yokohama Hammerhead”. If you are familiar with Cup Noodle museum, then it's right behind it. It's also a short 10 minute walk from the other Intercontinental: Yokohama Grand. The closest stations for both these hotels is the Minatomirai station on the Minatomirai line. If you are coming by JR, the closet station is Sakuragi-cho on the Keihin-Touhoku line and from there about a 15 to 20 minute walk to Yokohama Grand and a further 10 minutes to Pier 8. From the Hammerhead, you can clearly see the iconic fin shaped Intercontinental Yokohama Grand. It's in a good location with shops and restaurants in Yokohama Hammerhead, Marine & Walk and the famous Red Brick warehouse. The hotel is a rectangle building with an open area in the middle (garden) of the building from level 3. The ”outside” rooms are the City and Bay View rooms while the ”inside” rooms are the Garden View rooms. There's also a rooftop garden where you have a great view overlooking the bay and can just sit and relax in the sun. The staff were exceptional and the rooms amazing. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

We stayed for the firework on NYE and this hotel delivered!! (Although I did go to the pier to enjoy it with the crowd). This hotel is located above Cross Gate which is a 3-4 level mall mainly of restaurants. I missed the info that they have a car park right under the building so I parked for an hour outside but that's fine. I wish it was multiple entries though. Car park is definitely challenging for bigger cars but manageable. Back to the hotel, it's typical Japanese size or even smaller if it's a two bed room. Breakfast was proper buffet style and I mean the room can fit maybe 30-40 tables if not more so you can imagine their offering is superb in both western and Japanese style. My only regret is I was too tired to walk and try each plate they offer!! Room is tiny but it can be excused by the view. Although I saw some constructions starting so the view might be blocked next time I come :( The only concern I had is that some lifts can connect to the mall bypassing the reception. So literally anyone could arrive to your door, which caught me by surprise a little.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days. 2 adults and 1 kid. the hotel location is of course far from downtown tokyo, but that is a compromise we were willing to take to stay in a comfier and spacious room. there are two metro stations nearby (1 closer, other one a 20 minute walk away). Both walkways are passing through a mall and a covered pathway which has travelators installed. The nearby malls and cup noodle museum were great. lot of eating and dining options. and tōkyō downtown was a 40 minute subway ride. Overall a great stay. You can also get airport limousine from hotel reception level 1 and there are comfy sofas to wait for your checkin time or post checkout.

No good for families We booked a stay here at the end of our 2 week Japan holiday. We decided on this hotel in particular as it offered a swimming pool. Because of bed configuration we booked 2 rooms. Unfortunately we arrived to discover the swimming pool is only open from 3-8pm and anyone under 140cm (my 10 year old) is only welcomed until 6pm and must be accompanied in the water with an adult at all times. Anyone even entering the pool deck must be in a swimsuit. I feel this is simply to accommodate the social media vibe as every person on the deck was there for the selfies. We are leaving well before 3 tomorrow so our opportunity for taking a dip is limited. A brand new hotel that cannot accommodate a morning lap swim seems like a big miss to me. Onto the rooms. Tiny, and awkward with basins in the bedroom area rather than in the bathroom space. Odd. Shower also only has clear glass door so if you’re here for a romantic weekend with a partner that may be fine but families with teens wouldn’t mind a bit of privacy when showering. As mentioned earlier the room configuration with only twin beds meant we had to book two rooms. We did so but when we arrived they were unable to accommodate us on one floor. Again. Not family friendly. Four elevators service the guest rooms and they are crazy slow. With our family split over two floors it was endlessly frustrating. Yokohama was fabulous just wish we stayed at a different hotel.

The location is perfect a short walk from Takashima station where there is lift to the street. The staff is helpful, amenities such as face wash ,toner and moisturizer in sachet are available at level 9 lobby. Different flavour tea is available for guests. Breakfast is served with some Western spread.Most items are Japanese dishes such as.seafood bowls and beef bowls. Very thoughtful guests are able to take away the hot drinks in takeaway cup.

Cchappy1006Ia sangat mudah kerana ia boleh diakses terus dari Stesen Yokohama. Sarapan disertakan sebagai pilihan. Bayaran pendahuluan diperlukan di ruang makan di tingkat lobi. Ia tidak murah, tetapi anda boleh memilih antara makanan Jepun atau Barat sebagai hidangan utama anda, dan ia juga disertakan dengan mini bufet lauk-pauk kecil, jadi anda boleh makan sepuas-puasnya. Kawasan sekitar tenang dengan hanya apar**en dan hotel.
Saya fikir ia agak mudah kerana terdapat kedai OK di sebelah.
Memandangkan bahagian hadapan berada di tingkat 20, saya merasakan ia agak menyusahkan.
Saya check in pada waktu malam, jadi pemandangan malam adalah cantik, tetapi kerumitan untuk naik ke atas untuk mendaftar masuk dan perlu turun ke bilik adalah titik tolak. Memang susah nak tunggu lif.
Bilik itu agak besar dan bersih.
Bilik yang saya duduki tidak mempunyai tab mandi, tetapi mungkin bilik lain juga ada?
Memandangkan lokasi, kebersihan, harga, dan lain-lain, saya fikir ia akan menjadi baik tanpa tab mandi, tetapi saya fikir ia akan menjadi lebih baik jika ia berlaku.
Secara keseluruhan, saya ingin menggunakannya semula apabila saya bercadang untuk tinggal di Yokohama lagi.

LLuci-BThis is definitely value for money for Japan. Standard is high in Japan, but stay at this hotel was pleasant. Good central location. Small room but that is pretty standard here. All amenities provided and pyjamas. Comfortable bed. Helpful friendly staff. Good reliable internet. Nice Italian place to eat next to the hotel.

AAde P.A beautiful hotel that's more or less right next to Shin-Yokohama station and within sight of Yokohama Arena. You can find a 7-11 on the ground floor, next to the elevators, while a direct link to the Prince PePe shopping center leads you to some eateries and a supermarket. It appears to be mostly frequented by business folk, at least when we visited in late November.
Checking in was a smooth process with the friendly, English-speaking concierge. You'll want to grab some amenities such as washcloths, cotton pads, and shaving cream before taking the long elevator ride up to your room. We had a nice view overlooking the city seeing how we were past the 30th floor, though said view gets better once you head to the top for teppanyaki or the lovely lounge. Visit the latter at dusk to soak in the panoramic sight and count passing trains while you sip on house cocktails and savor their beef tagliata. Or maybe treat yourself to a dram of Hibiki 25 -- you deserve it.
The double room is more business than leisure, though clean and comfortable enough to relax in after a long day out. There's a safe and a mini-fridge, as well as an air-conditioning remote mounted on the wall, and a room control panel by the bedside. There's also a table right by the TV that could pass as a work desk (with accompanying chair) if needed, though I much prefer the sofa by the windows so I can ruminate on my choices while at the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum.
I should also mention that the housekeeping staff are incredibly warm and friendly should you cross paths. It's these little things that make a stay enjoyable, you know? Excellent value and a definite return should Yokohama ever be on the itinerary again.

헤헤수스Really easy to get there from the subway station. The location is good because there are many places to eat and drink, it is also close to the Bus terminal in case you are planing to take a night bus to another city. Department Stores and PKM center also around the area. The Capsules are wide and clean, you have TV, headphones, light, etc. You also get pajamas, which are soft and big. They give you a locker witha key, you can sotre your shoes, bag, etc you need for the day, and also you have a room to store your big bags. The brathroom were clean, and also they have separate room with mirrors next to the locker rooms for you to shave, do makeup, etc you need. The sauna and showers are located in the 1st floor, you get a big and a small towel. Inside you can find shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, etc. Finally, check out is really easy and they let you keep your bags in the sotrage room after check out, but i would recomend to ask for how long they can keep them. I defenitively recommend this place for short or long stay.

PPengguna TetamuI absolutely love this hotel! The room was spacious compared to most hotels in Japan. Had a good night sleep and I'm usually a light sleeper even with the sound of the trains, it wasn't that noticeable for me. The cleaners are efficient and there is a communal table on the ground floor near reception which is a great spot for working while the cleaner is cleaning with access to cold tea and amenities. I didn't like the check in process with the male Chinese receptionist, I felt it was a bit difficult for him to check me in and was hesitant to give me free wifi so I could show him my reservation email, he eventually was able to find my reservation, this is a very minor complaint. I will definitely rebook again as the location is close to convenient stores and the train station and a nice stroll through the harbour and Collette Mane. Very affordable accommodation and great value for what you get compared to areas that are closer to Tokyo.

服務員不會主動給你打掃衞生，需要在門外邊貼上磁吸牌（請打掃衞生）。
門鎖是密碼鎖，把門帶上後不會自動鎖，出門後需要按一個鑰匙圖案的按鈕才能上鎖。這點一定要注意。
周邊坐車吃飯挺方便，對面就是中華料理店，叫慶豐酒家，是一對來自浙江的夫妻店，人很熱情，我們想喝點中國白酒，大姐拿了她兒子的存貨免費給我們喝了。
她家做的菜味道都還不錯。
還有考雞肉串的店，居酒屋啥的。
