Hotel dengan Bar di York

The management is not satisfied, even though we showed them the receipt of hotel payment that we paid Trip.com on line, they still told us we needed to pay an outstanding of a full day amount out of our 2 days staying. We also paid fee for 2 hours late check, breakfast buffet and parking charges separately, the buffet is absolutely out of our imagination. But general speaking, the hotel is new and clean, the location is very convenient.

Staff were friendly and professional. Room was pleasant and well-equipped, with a good shower and quality shower gel etc. Good to see disposable goods minimised.

This hostel is set in a treed, green area. Pets are welcome. There is off-street car parking if you need it. There's a bus stop right outside the gate if you need it, but the main city sights are only a 15-20 minute walk away either on a mainish road or along the riverbank - both are interesting in their own way. Staff are friendly, helpful. The kitchen and bedrooms were clean and fresh, the bathrooms and showers were kept clean - every morning fresh. Any mess in those was due to guests, not staff or cleaners. I didn't eat in, I self-catered - but the hostel food looked amazing and I could see it was being served with a smile. They had a bar too. The front desk staff were great, answered all my questions. The kitchen for self-catering was very well equipped, right down to labels and pens so you can mark your stuff and the date you're leaving. As hostel accommodation, this was great. The only downside, which I forgot to mention in my review on the YHA website, is that the floors squeak and the door to the bedroom needs a good hard pull to shut properly this was sometimes disturbing to other people trying to sleep in the room if you needed to get up early in the morning or late at night/during the night.

Everything is perfectly cute. My friend and I love the design of the room, and we wish to try other rooms as well! We had a relaxed and happy trip with this hotel~

Only stayed here one night but were welcomed by lovely staff, who completed our check-in early and stored our bags until we came back later in the day when the room was ready. Room was a decent size with large individual beds. Didn’t really use the amenities much but it was well equipped. The hotel is located just outside the city wall, just overlooking it. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the nearest restaurants, pubs and shops. We didn’t arrive by car but there is parking available at the hotel. It probably takes about 20 minutes to walk to the station, altho it’s hard to do it directly with lovely shops and cafes on the way. I would definitely choose this hotel again as the location was good, it was clean and very presentable and the staff were nice. It was also decent value for money. Can’t comment on food or drinks as we didn’t have any at the hotel.

lift was down when we arrived hotel without any headsup. fully understand this might be out of hotel's control but was only given lower floor room upon my request albeit I already mentioned I had a big luggage. staff didn't mention availability of porter service until i asked for it. cups and spoons in room were not clean. no slippers in room & need to be charged at £2/pair which I think could be as goodwill for an out of order lift. on the other hand, location was good and porters were nice.

整體很棒！非常有feel的酒店 滿足了我對住在英式小鎮別墅的所有幻想 非常推薦！ 設施：房間很大 傢具用品都非常講究 看的出酒店老闆很有品味 特別是1982年老唱片 比我年齡都大 音質還保持地那麼好 真的很用心了！ 環境：窗外風景簡直絕佳，太美了！ 衛生：很不錯。 服務：前台小姐姐貼心得給我們介紹了樓層裏有免費的零食小鋪等等 唯一值得關注的是酒店停車場需要提前預約，不然就衹能像我們一樣，停在步行約15mins外的公共停車場，確實不太方便…

This is my 3rd night and the staff are very friendly and very helpful the rooms and bathrooms are spotless and very cheap and would recommend for anyone wanting to explore the area
