I don't understand why there is a few negative reviews. Having just returned after 10 days at the Galaxy beach hotel, I can only say it's a really lovely Hotel. From arriving to departure the staff were very friendly and helpful. At check in they were very helpful and in no time we were taken to our room and because we were a bit too late for dinner there was a nice fresh sandwich and water waiting for us. The room we were given had two large bedrooms and as we were with our adult daughter it gave us the privacy when we needed it. We had a large balcony with side sea view and both bedrooms had sliding doors onto it. The bathroom was large and very nice with two washbasins , and TV and aircon in both rooms. We were all inclusive and the food was good and something different every day, as you can expect from a buffet it was sometimes not very hot but there was a microwave for use if needed ( we never used it) The beach bar was lovely and never had to wait in a queue...the staff were friendly and a special mention for Danielle at the bar..... she was always happy and the service was amazing. The sunbeds by the pool were all taken quite early but we could always find a table overlooking the beach , the only min point is having to pay 10 euros per person for a sunbed on the beach, that's 30 euros a day extra which adds up when your there for 10 days. We did hire a car for a few days and had a lovely drive round the island. All in all a wonderful holiday and I highly recommend Galaxy beach.

As a couple in their 50's, we just returned from a lovely holiday to Zante and stayed in the Meandros hotel as an adult only choice. The rooms - We paid for a premium room, which in reality was a larger than average size room with a couch (which we never used). The room had a large cupboard with a hanging rail and a shelf which was too high for me at 5' 2”, but no chest of drawers in the room. The beds were comfy and they had good pillows. We also had a decent size balcony, however, this was on the dull side of the hotel and it only got the sun in early evening, so again never used as mosquitos tend to be coming out in evenings. The bathroom was dated and the noise late at night from other pubs etc, blasted through the bathroom window. The noise outside early in the morning mainly came from the local cockerels as it's a field next to the hotel and also cleaning staff with trolleys going past, so if you are someone who is not looking to go out to entertainment, then this hotel is not for you as you will hear it anyway and then be woken early with dogs, chickens etc. No signal on the on the only British TV channel. There are other rooms with their own personal swim up rooms and some that overlook the main pool or the sunny side of the hotel, so I'm not sure how they are allocated as we had paid for a premium suite!! The pool is gorgeous and the hotel is immaculate, outdoor bar is good for relaxing in and the staff are extremely helpful. The cleaning staff work hard to keep everything spotless and the restaurant is clean, but quite small, although there is an outdoor seating area too (however, you take the risk of mosquito bites if eating outdoor at dinner time). Breakfast was between 7am - 10.30am and dinner was 7pm - 9.30pm. We personally got a bit fed up of the food as it was all much the same most nights, so we chose to eat out a few nights over the 10 day holiday. I would definitely recommend Dafni's for a meal, just around the corner from the hotel. There is a lovely spa facility, although we didn't use it, except on the last day after I had lay in the sun. You can use of the spa facility to get a freshen up before leaving for a late flight. Nearby, plenty of pubs, supermarkets, restaurants on the main ***** and on the other side of the hotel, however, most are now closing for the winter. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away and the water is clear and clean, definitely worth spending a day or 2 there. Car hire is good to tour the island with and we did the ”Back to the roots” bus tour as well, which was worthwhile. We personally appreciated the help on the last day after checking out of our room, while waiting around the pool area before our evening pick up when my husband took ill and the reception staff arranged for him to rest in another bedroom for a few hours to prevent him feeling sick in public. Beautiful beach front property, loved watching sunrise here. Lots of day beds on the beach and swimming pool. Big selection at the breakfast buffet and loved having lunch and dinner at the restaurant with a view of the beach. Such a beautiful setting! Must order the saganaki shrimp, sea bass and chocolate soufflé for dessert. Lots of friendly cats on the property which always makes me happy. Had an amazing massage from Evi at the Aegeo spa. Great way to finish the trip. Highly recommend staying several nights to really enjoy and relax by the pool and beach and also do some day trips around Zakynthos.

Wow, where do I start! From the moment we arrived until the second we left (given a farewell gift) everything was outstanding. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite called Vanilla. A beautiful large room with a huge infinity pool. Everything spotlessly clean and the room was turned over twice a day. We had lots of room service and ate in the restaurant 3 times during our stay. The food was impeccable. We enjoyed steak, lamb, pork and chicken dishes. Compliments to to the chef! Breakfast every morning was great, lots of choice and if you wanted to ask for something a little different all needs were accommodated. What makes this hotel extra special is the staff. So kind and friendly, everyone couldn’t do enough for you. We were made to feel super special, with a surprise gift for our anniversary! I wish we could remember everyone’s name to say thank you to, so many! Special thanks to Vicky who communicated brilliantly with me before we arrived, arranging an upgrade and lots more. Special thank you Costa (cocktail) and Catalina who made us amazing drinks in the pool bar and gave us many smiles during our stay. The grooms were amazing, whatever we needed they were there within minutes, we loved being transported by the golf cart! Great service from the room to restaurant or down the hill when going to the beach. Also the beautiful lady who greeted us at reception, sorry cannot remember her name, we called her Mila Kunis, was brilliant to. We cannot thank everyone enough!! Highly recommend!!!!

We recently (October 24) stayed at King Jason Zante and were blown away by the relaxing atmosphere and stunning views! The combination of the swimming pool and sea views was breathtaking, and the spacious room with direct pool access was perfect. The variety of delicious food for breakfast and lunch was a real treat, and the spa packages were really worth it. I highly recommend it for a peaceful and memorable getaway!
