The location was pretty nice. The people in the reception were friendly and made you feel at home. They also gave us a lot of information about the island. The services were really bad. The woman who cleaned our bathroom hadn't have put cleaned towels and new foam for bath, so we had to ask our own. At the bathroom the ventilator wasn't working so it smelled badly. The air conditioning wasn't working immediately after turning it on. Also there were other stuff from previous visitors . Although we made reservations without including breakfast they offered it with no extra charge. The breakfast was really delicious. Especially the coffee.

Just got back from a 2 week stay at Eleni Gardens. We found the room we had(Junior Suite) absolutely perfect. Mini fridge in room, and a large walk in shower in the bathroom with a glass screen. The room was immaculate and cleaned to a high standard every day. Eleni and Athena couldn't be more welcoming and so helpful. Thank you for everything you did for us. The bar was well stocked and the food on offer was beautifully cooked. Pool and sunbeds were amazing. Always found a sunbed with ease and the pool was a good size. Close to all the amenities and village. Could not have wanted for a better place to spend a wonderful holiday

Nonostante la vicinanza con l’aeroporto, Daniel hotel gode di una posizione strategica per chi volesse girare l’isola o semplicemente godere di una vacanza di riposo, in quanto si trova in una via interna molto tranquilla e immersa nella natura, lontana dal caos dei mezzi ma allo stesso tempo ad un paio di min dalla main road di Kalamaki (10 a piedi) e circa una ventina di minuti di passeggiata dalla Spiaggia di Crystal Beach. La struttura è accogliente e si presenta ordinata e spaziosa, al centro di essa c’è una piscina riservata ai clienti con il bar che resta aperto fino a sera e con ottima musica di sottofondo (ma non invasiva). Le camere hanno un’entrata indipendente, sono abbastanza spaziose e dotate di un terrazzino vivibile con sedie e tavolino. Sono inoltre dotate di aria condizionata (extra che costa €6 al giorno) e frigo. L’unica nota negativa purtroppo è la colazione che era un po’ scarna e di mediocre qualità, perciò non all’altezza delle aspettative. È comunque possibile non includerla nel proprio soggiorno e in alternativa recarsi nella via principale dove ci sono vari bar che fanno anche cappuccino/espresso e quant’altro. Un consiglio: se dovete affittare un mezzo (cosa consigliata!) rivolgetevi esclusivamente alle grandi catene che possono assicurarvi veicoli in buone condizioni, sicuri e soprattutto assistenza concreta; evitate i piccoli rental service come quello adiacente all’hotel perché sfortunatamente a noi ha causato moltissimi problemi e inutile stress. Infine, ma non per importanza, i proprietari dell’hotel, Augustine e Vicky, sono davvero due persone splendide e di cuore; ci hanno aiutato a risolvere degli inconvenienti e invitato più volte ad affidarci a loro per qualsiasi problema, facendoci sentire come in famiglia. Li ringraziamo molto per la gentilezza e il supporto dimostratoci. P.s. Se alloggerete qui, vi consiglio vivamente di recarvi a cena alla taverna Eliameze (6 min a piedi)!

A pleasant enough hotel for 2 stars. On arrival, we waited quite some time for anyone to come to serve us, we arrived at around 5 pm. We were roughly pointed in the direction of our room. The room was clean on arrival, but the cleaning in the week that we stayed was very hit and miss. There were no cups in the room so we had to buy a couple at the local supermarket Rooms at the bottom rear of the hotel are quite dark and face the car park, there are some nice trees in a garden area before the car park. We paid 7 euros a day for air con and 3 euros a day for a full sized fridge, which, as you can read on previous reviews, you simply plug in. The tax was only 50 cent a night as its a 2 star hotel. The breakfast was cartons of orange or apple juice, sliced bread with a toaster, a selection of jam/honey, yogurt, sices of ham and cheese, slices of tomato and cucumber, corn flakes, sliced cake, some days fried and some days boiled eggs. A very basic breakfast, and we did bore of it but perfectly adequate. I think the main issue that we had with this hotel was the noise, the planes flew a lot later at night and earlier in the morning than we remembered from our previous visit to Zante, around 11pm and then again at 5am, as you are so close to the run way it's loud. The hotel also has some chickens in the back, with a turkey that swarks anytime from 3am - 6am. Unfortunately for us, we also had some terribly noisy guests sharing the hotel with us returning at 2am slaming doors and shouting down the corridors. (Not the hotels fault) The pool area was nice, on a few afternoons, my partner and I had the pool to ourselves. We ate once from the snack bar and the food was good. The location is good with a short walk up to main street and a slightly longer one down to the beach.
